The restaurant was busy, which is usually a plus, so we were fine with the 30 min wait for an outside table. Meanwhile, we headed to the bar, which was packed. The bartender wasnt the nicest, but it was busy so understandable. Once we were seated, we ordered the calamari to start. Talk about disappointment. While the calamari was tender, the batter was almost a tempura consistency (which is odd for an Italian restaurant..), and was a bit too heavy for my liking. I ordered the potato gnocchi that was supposed to come with rock shrimp, zucchini, sage, etc. The sauce was cream based, so I opted for a marinara sauce. The bf ordered the braised short rib. The pasta came out as just gnocchi and tomato sauce. So the server took it away and it was quickly replaced with the pasta and shrimp. The gnocchi was incredibly soft and not too heavy. But thats all that I can say for the dish. The sauce was fine, but a bit oily. Unfortunately, while the bfs short rib looked delicious, it had too much fat for his preference and he just picked at it. The service was fine, nothing outstanding yet nothing horrible. Overall, it was just dull food with an expensive price tag.

This had to be the worst pasta ever. My daughters ate there and they brought me a dish home a full dish was ordered and it looked like dog food. I cant even tell you what it tasted like because I could not taste it. It was horrible. I called the restaurant when I saw what the to go container had inside and spoke to a manager named Jessica and she just said well once the food leaves the restaurant there is nothing that can be done. Now my daughters sat there and ate their food and ordered a plate for me I am not talking about left overs I am taking about a full plate so how would I try it there and tell them it was not good if it was to go? Anyways she told me she was sorry but there was nothing that she could do since I left the restaurant and I explained my daughters bought it for me. She was just not helpful at all and the food went in the garbage too bad I can not upload a picture to show you all. It was HORRIBLE!!!!

As someone who has been to Campiello over a dozen times, I have not once had a complaint. Food is always high quality, cooked to perfection, presented well. Wait staff is perfect. There hasnt been a single moment where ive had to look around and wonder where my waiter was for whatever reason. Yes, it can get a little busy despite the large venue, but Ive never been asked to wait with reservations, even on Friday nights. Plus, a packed venue is what restaurants aim for. Means theyre doing something right. I feel as though a lot of complaints stem from those who have come in with a sour attitude due to the fact that it is a bit more expensive, but its worth the price. Ive noticed a lot of travelers in Naples can be cheap. Definitely coming back a dozen times over.

Für Florida bzw. USA allererste Sahne. Man sitzt sehr schon Mitten in Naples und in einem sauberen tollen Ambiente. Das Personal ist super freundlich, was für Florida eigentlich wieder normal ist, aber trotzdem zu erwähnen. Das Essen war der Burner. Cesars Salad bei meiner Frau und Penne mit Chicken und Spinat bei mir. Krass gut!!!

We went to Campiello and as usual we were not disappointed! This place has some of the best food in a very trendy Naples setting. We love the outdoor seating as well as tables inside. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic! We had some of the best pasta dishes we have had anywhere. The pappardelle with braised veal was amazing as was the linguine with clams sauce. This is a tried and true Naples restaurant that is always consistent in the delivery of fresh, Italian fare in a very casual yet upscale atmosphere. Oh and we finished with the butterscotch budino with sea salt and toffee and it was the perfect dessert finish to a truly excellent meal!

5 stars for one of the best customer service experiences Ive had. I ordered house salad and a pizza dish for lunch. When my pizza returned it contained meat. I told the waitress that I didnt realize the dish contained meat. The waitress immediately had the order changed. The manager brought the meatless option and I was offered a free desert. I didnt accept the desert because the error was on my part but the staff went above and beyond. The house salad was delicious and my husband enjoyed his grilled salmon dish. Loved the family restaurant vibe!

Very pushy service, the gulf shrimp appetizer was clearly made with frozen shrimp...disappointment. The "pizza" was actually flatbread....undercooked. Our server ordered the wrong one so we had to wait for the right one while the rest of our party had their food. Our server was rushing while pouring our wine and ended up pouring it on to our plate. All this happened after we had to wait for our table even though we had a reservation. All in all the most unpleasant fine dinning experience in Naples. Beware of this over rated spot.

This place has gone downhill from something fun to a tourist trap. Went to the bar and got slow service. Bartender spending time flirting with the couple across from us. Had the worst Manhattan of my life made incorrectly to the point of undrinkable. It sat on the bar while the ice melted for fifteen minutes and I could not get any attention. Asked for the bill and paid with the 80% full fifteen dollar drink sitting there. We were going to stay and dine but we walked out. Never again.

Terrible service and seating! Not to mention TERRIBLE manager! Her name is Courtney. It was a friends birthday and we had reservations. We got there and have to wait literally 30 minutes to sit down. Ok food , but as we are finishing up our meal we know are waiting for the cake to come out. We soon find out that the birthday cake that was purchased was given away to someone else! Now tell me how does this happen? I will never go back there!

La salsa rica pero muy condimentada, tapa el sabor de la pasta..., los precios elevados, lógico en Naples..., la atención del mozo correcta aunque algo apurada... sientes que te apuran para que termines y te vayas.

Really enjoyed eating here, as usually Italian isnt really my think. I opted for the pizza as Id hear good things, tasted great. Massive in size, traditional looking with thin crust. Liked the outside inside vibes, the service was 100% spot on as the waiter was attentive, charming and funny. We took this recommendation from a Naples local, and would in term recommend to anyone else. More expensive, but in keeping with Naples prices.

Great Italian food - especially for Florida. Fresh pasta, good meat. I would suggest the Short Ribs - the dish was awesome. I ate every bite on my plate, and the plates were quite large. The menu is not static so you can mix and match any of the dishes which was a nice touch. I ordered the short ribs with parmesan risotto, and it was excellent.
