Myself, my girlfriend and a few other friends of mine decided to go to Danny Boys in Broadview Heights on a Wednesday evening for “Woogie Wednesday”. We were seated right away and ordered our food shortly there after. I have been to Danny Boys several times. The food has always been delicious and we’ve never had an issue. Unfortunately, I cant say the same for Wednesday night. Instead of writing a few short sentences about our issues, it will be easier to list them. There were many. The bad: It took one hour to receive our food from the time we ordered it. (It was not busy) Tables that arrived after us were receiving food before us. We did not have silverware or napkins when our food finally arrived. My girlfriends pasta was cold as well as the rest of our french fries. (Her pasta was replaced very quickly - that was cool) There was a DEAD FLY buried under my friends fries His plate was taken away but they did not offer to replace his meal (until I had asked). At this point, however, he decided he no longer wanted any more food. I requested an order of fresh french fries for the table (to replace our cold ones) and it took 25 minutes to receive them. My friend ordered a Woogie to-go and instructed our waitress to place the order while we were eating, so that it would be ready to go when we were done. She did not place the order until 8:05 (almost 1.5 hours after we had been there) because “[she] did not think we still wanted the to-go order because we were having ‘problems’” At 8:40 I inquired about the status of our to-go order. Our waitress informed us that we still had to wait 7 more minutes because there were “orders ahead of us”. At this point, I was extremely annoyed but politely asked why there would be orders ahead of us if that ticket should have been put in during the 7 o’clock hour. Our waitress got extremely defensive and raised her voice telling us that “he told me to put it in when you were done eating.” This, however, was not the case, she was instructed to put it in while we were eating our dinner, she had already mistakenly delayed that request. Regardless, it should not have taken another 45 minutes to fulfill our to-go order. When we finally received our to-go, our waitress instructed us that she could ring us up at the desk. We followed her to the front desk where she promptly left us to go attend to other tasks while we waited (again) for someone else to ring us out. The good: I had multiple conversations with Ashely, the manager that night. Ashley was extremely friendly and very helpful. She helped make the best out of a (very) bad situation by comping the entire table’s bill. Unlike our waitress, she was very apologetic and understood the issues that we were having. She is the only reason I would ever consider going back to Danny Boys. The wrap up: I go out to eat frequently and this is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Ever. Our waitress was inefficient and became hostile when pressed for an explanation. Most of our 2.5 hours at Danny Boys was spent waiting for food which either came out cold or in one case had an insect in it. I will say, however, our food was decent when it was warm, although I have had better at previous visits. The complete lack of customer service (aside from Ashely, the manager) was completely unacceptable and frankly pretty embarrassing. I have no intention of returning to Danny Boys anytime soon, and my friends and I will be actively telling our friends and family about our experience and recommending that they look elsewhere when deciding on a place to eat.

Went to Danny Boys in Broadview Heights tonight. Service was good, food was good. Here is my problem we ordered three pizzas a small, medium and a large. The small and medium came out and when the waitress came to check on us I asked her for the large. She came back out and apologized that our large pizza had been given to another table. Here was there solution to bring us out a medium and tell us that a small was being made to make up for it. I do not believe it was our waitresses fault but it was also not our fault. What should of happened was 1. The manager should have come out to apologize and not sent the waitress. 2. A large pizza should have been made for us and comped, that was the original order. We ended up telling them we did not want the small pizza, we were done with our meal and to just charge us for the medium. I am glad they have so much business that they do not need ours or the many people that will read this and that I tell by word of mouth..

I honestly wasnt expecting much when coming here but I was definitely pleasantly surprised!! We came with a party of about 14 and were served pretty quickly. The walls were covered in interesting things to look at so we were entertained while we waited for the pizza. The pizza was so good! We ordered about 4 or 5 different pizzas then all shared. Everybody loved the pizza so thats gotta say something! We were very pleased with the experience.

This place is a great place to get food. Theres nothing I can really say about the food other than its great. However, the wait for this food is very long (but that might be a trade-off for the quality of the food), long enough to possibly create a problem. Go here because the food is great, but dont have plans directly afterwards.

Thank You Danny Boys! On May 13, 2017 my daughter celebrated her first Communion. After mass Danny Boys staff provided an excellent luncheon for more than 50 people. We were beyond happy with the service and quality of food. Five stars is not enough!!!! Thanks again!

Worst service ever. I was at the bar. Finished my beer. And it took the lady 20 min to ask If wanted another. Worst part is they went even busy. I watched the bartenders laugh at their phones probably on Facebook not even paying attention. Never going back.

Danny Boys is a decent Pizza place with a strong menu. The new location I was at took much longer to make my takeout food than anticipated. I would advise against ordering takeout from this restaurant and stick to visiting.

Always hard to order from, they seem to always leave the phone off the hook around dinner time. The food is good but not great. Coupons make little sense because they dont easily relate to their menu.

We came after a dance recital. This restaurant can accomate multiple large groups, and has a great variety. Every time were here I wonder, "why dont we come here more often." Brian was a great server.
