If I could leave 7 stars, I would. Im a freak about pizza, and in the Cleveland area the only other place that really "does" it for me is Deweys. So, if you like Deweys and/or NY style pizza then I HIGHLY recommend Pizza216. Our first experience was made at a recommendation when we were staying at a hotel downtown (the Schofield across the street.) We ordered takeout and it *literally* changed my life. When youre pizza serious and havent been able to find the spot that really hits your spot, its slightly depressing. So ya, life changing. We lived in Lakewood and would take Ubers into the city JUST to eat here. The Brussels sprouts, garlic knots and plain old pepperoni pie are our usual order. The pizza has a light, airy crust and is a thin crust. The ingredients are sooo fresh and the red sauce is sooo good (not sweet though, its a pizza sauce not marinara sauce.) I love sitting at the bar and watching them make the pizza (hand tossed) and then rotating them through the brick pizza oven. So entertaining! And now, the service. Since we we always sit at the bar we typically get Jess as our bartender. Shes awesome! Weve also had a chance to meet one of the owners, Johnny, and really appreciate his presence in his business on a Friday night. We recently moved to Playhouse Square and are chomping at the bit for them to re-open. Cant wait!

The pizza is good. I have a few others around I prefer but I like the Pizza 216. A specialty or a 2 to 3 topping is $17-20 bucks. My service there has been ok, but not real attentive. The price points are fair enough, for a meal Id say a pizza serves 2, so your looking at $8-10 a head for a pizza dinner which is reasonable enough. It is thinner though, so Its not super filling like a slice from Angelos. Its a good place to go with a group, get a few pies and some of there "other stuff options" The Italian Nachos are pretty awesome, Id highly recommend them. If your into craft beer, it has a very strong list. I suppose the lighter pizza is good when you have a few heavy beers! Good place, gonna cost you a little more than the local sports bar or pizza take out, but the quality is good, great location downtown on Euclid by forth street, The service in my trips there has room for improvement , but its good. Going to a ball game or shopping downtown this is a solid choice.

Not only the worst restaurant service in Cleveland, its the worst Ive ever experienced in the country. Informed of us a 45 minute wait (which we did), then when we were seated, we waited TWENTY minutes to see a server (we approached one). The manager was extremely rude and told us there was no pizza dough, at a PIZZA PLACE, and there wouldnt be any for 45 minutes. Youd think theyd tell us that during our 45 minute wait but nope... When we went to complain to the hostess, there was no one present for 5 minutes, typical, so we left. I cant believe how poorly run this dump is.

I thought the pizza tasted great. We had stopped out for the arboretum and then picked up pizza here. I believe it was the owner who was there when we were there and he seemed really nice and when one of the employees needed help ringing our order, he was nice to the employee as well. If we lived closer, I would stop in regularly but definitely suggest giving it a try if you live in the area or are passing through!

Found this place by accident, possibly the best thing that could ever happen. From the atmosphere to the music to the food to the staff. Everything was amazing! Plan on coming back here everytime Im in Cleveland. Even though this place is known for their Pizza their 216 burger is possibly the best thing you will put in your mouth all week, dont make a mistake by not ordering it!

Very disappointing. Ordered 2 Lg pizzas for pick up an hour before noon, and when I arrived the place was dead and about 6 or 7 workers standing around had no clue where my order was. They had to make my food from start, and were not very nice. Not even an apology for the the delay. Then when I got back to the office, the pizzas were burnt. I wont return.

Pretty decent pizza. Good crisp crust. Service was good. However, most tables are high tops with uncomfortable industrial metal stools and oddly shaped live edge tables. We had to ask to move to a real table. Pizza Fire across the street actually has better pizza for less if you dont mind the more informal fast casual atmosphere.

This place is great. Im a big fan of white pizza and their Bianca pizza is excellent. The dinner pizzas are a good size for two people. They are thin crust so they come out quickly, but they are a good texture not hard and cardboard-like the way some thin crust pizzas are. I will definitely be back here in the future.

Judging pizza is tricky - for just the reasons I like it someone else may dislike it... But with that In mind I really like pizza 216. Its thin but with a tasty crust and the few different varieties I have had seem to be topped with fresh, flavorful toppings. Service was quick and the place has a relaxing vibe.

Awesome pizza. Great service. Love sitting at the bar...watching the pies get made. Plenty of tvs here to take in a game. And the drinks are quite delicious...beer, wine or cocktails. Ive seen the owners working here on weekend nights. They get it done. Try the Brussels sprouts too. Best pie in CLE IMO.

Pizza 216 offers diverse options for vegetarians! The pizza is customizable, their crust is thin and flavored appropriately. Great ambience for a night out with plenty of screens to catch a game. On the weekend, I would recommend calling ahead to reserve a table

The wait can be a bit long at rush times, and they seemed to be understaffed, but it is a pizza place so they do have to bake it. Good pizza and beer options, nice interior, large bar. Probably best to make a reservation if you have any more than two people

Go here if you like thin crust pizza. My son and I ordered the marguerita, garlic knots and a side salad and we were satisfied. Reasonable prices (including on my Manhattan). Courteous service. Plenty of TVs of course if youre not at the game.

Great new pizza place downtown. The pizza is always good and they have a nice variety of drafts to go along with it. Friendly staff too. Would highly recommend the Pierogi Pizza for anyone who enjoys a good Pierogi.

Most pizza in Cleveland is terrible. This place is an exception! Their pizza is a perfect thickness, the sauce isnt too sweet, and their cheese is amazing. It is the only pizza place Ill eat at in Cleveland!
