Not sure what restaurant some of these other reviewers visited, but I can guarantee it was NOT the same diner I regularly attend with my family and friends! I have never had a negative experience there; dining room is clean, staff is professional and friendly. I am always impressed by the competency and speed of workers. I can assure you they do not "hire illegals", as one Google User described it. How utterly ludicrous. I love their funny signs and comfortable atmosphere. (Live a little and enjoy the advertisements for what they are: a joke. Im sure your kids dont understand them anyway. No need to ruin it for everyone else.) The food is delicious, and when it comes to quality? Outstanding. I find it funny people complain about it being "greasy"....its burgers and fries, folks. If you dont like grease, go find a salad! I would recommend this family-friendly place to anyone I know in the Parma area.

WOW!!! I believe these reviews(Kaleb&Terry)must be talking about a different place all together!!! I have been taking my family to the Hot Dog Diner once a week for about six months now! We have never seen this place in the mess they say its in!?!?!? My children and I love the food!!! Everything is hot and well built within minutes of ordering! They are a fine oiled machine when it comes to orders!! I find the eating area calm and comfortable! As far as the owner goes, customer satisfaction is his strong suit for sure!! You have won me over......I will continue coming back!!!!!

Always cold burgers I would never recommend it for anyone. I used to cook and wouldnt feed this crap to my dog. You want a freshly made burger dont go here your more likely to get a warmer one at McDonalds for half the price. The hot dogs are ok but nothing special, and definitely not good enough to be named after them. These good reviews must be friends with the owner bc everytime I have gone here since moving a few blocks away it has gotten worse. Dont waste your money give it to another local place that you can tell clearly cares.

Ive been going here for about two years and more recently the food has become below average with a not so average price.(not complaining on price,I expect quality with cost) The place has really gotten dirty and dingy and shows a not so clean environment. Theres a ice cream machine that looks ran down also theres an electrical smoker randomly in hallway to the restrooms, also, DONT USE THE RESTROOM! To make it clear I no longer will stop in here for lunch and give caution to others before walking into this establishment.

I went to the Hot Dog Diner this afternoon for the first time, dont know why I didnt try it sooner! I got a Snappy Slaw Dog and my sister got a Jumbo Sauerkraut Dog. We also got a medium chili cheese fries. Both dogs were delicious as well as the fries. The woman who took our orders was super nice and the food came out very quickly. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you havent already! Good taste and good value. We will be going back to try some of the other items for sure.

This place looks creepy from the outside, and its crappy on the inside. The fries give me the worst stomach aches, their hotdogs arent any bigger than the ones they sell at the stadium on dollar dog night, and the owner talks to people like hes running some fortune 500 company. Call a spade a spade, its a dinky little hotdog place that doesnt do anything special, and claims their peirogis are home made by locals, when in reality Ive seen the owner at GFS buying them. Get real.

This place was nasty. They need to take a few lessons from Dans Dogs on the square in Medina. Their food is a million times better, have an incredible selection of hotdogs, amazing service, better prices, and the ambiance is 50s motif and much better. Just be sure to take cash. I will never visit this Hot Dog Diner again. The food was terrible, service worse, and price ridiculous. Seriously, over $8 for a hot dog, cheese fries and a half mixed milk shake.

Made to order is a LIE. Theres no way to have a 1/3 lb burger made to order in 4 minutes.. and you have to love the smell and taste of AEROSOL cleaning products because their worker decided to clean every table in the restaurant. Maybe because we were the only people in there? But you couldnt wait until we had left? Its basic common sense to not use cleaning products that get stuck in the air and linger while you have customers.

The food is very below average but what made this dining experience terrible was the young and careless staff that were slow and inefficient. The dining room did not have a single clean table to eat at. I didnt realize it took two young girls to take my order but I guess they are "too good" to actually go out and make sure the customers have a clean and nice to place to eat. I will not be eating at this place again.

Had the chipotle gyro & fries - it was good, the mayo on it was a bit uneven, but the fries were excellent. They also have spicy ketchups for people who like that kind of thing. The service was good and the owner is very friendly. I dont know where a bunch of these other reviewers are thinking about, but its clearly the wrong place.

I wrote a negative review for this place about three years ago, based on a bad experience I had. I recently went back to see if things have changed and Im happy to say that they have (for me at least). Service and food quality have improved and it is now one of my favorite lunch spots! I have since deleted my previous review!

Slaw dogs, chili dogs, Coney dogs and probably another 20 plus variety of hot dogs.. Burgers are enormous.. however so are the prices!( bring your CC and checkbook) . Nice little quick spot to eat. . Formerly a Taco Bell.. Seating is a little crammed.. But I like it and its different.

Several advertisements around Brooklyn lured us in for a delicious luncheon. You have the option to build your own hot dog or hamburger, or select one of the menu items. The dessert menu is outstanding, the spotlight for our meal was chocolate dipped Twinkies rolled in candy.

stopped by and we got some food, if thats what you want to call it. Asked person behind counter to fix order and they refused. Food was nasty and cold. I will never eat here ever again and will never refer them to anyone. My dog eats Berger than what they serve

Being a Hot Dog affectionado, this little place is disappointing. The hot dogs are not special in the least way! The fixings are just condiments piled on hiding the hot dog. And the buns were stale. Two people can get a good meal for what this place charges.

Decent place that used to be a Taco Bell. Hot dogs are OK I guess...more of a novelty place than anything. Just my opinion. Hard to find hot dog places that stick around for long and they have been there a while, so they must be doing something right.

Fun local restaurant. Check the hours before you go. The owner clearly loves what he does, which makes everyone feel good. Generous helping of fries, which youll want in order to try all the homemade dipping sauces. I would LOVE a veggie dog option.
