SETUP: Today I was with my dog along Edgewater beach and somehow lost my car keys. Chewy & I went across the street from the car near Cha spirits and pizza kitchen in the bluster and heavy rain. I found out theyre a people and dog friendly staff that often give treats to special neighborhood pups!!! They gave us both shelter and treats. Several staff members helped me with googling names and making phone calls. I dont remember the phone numbers to call!!! They were in my phone!!! Shout out to CharMary, Owen, my waiter (who brought everything before I had to ask for it), and all the staff that were so nice to us during the storm. Waiting for rescue we sat on the patio in the aftermath of the storm watching an occasional train chug by. I decided to go for a large pizza and a beer. My 14 year old was coming with the cavalry so I knew it would be gone!!! RESULTS: Beer: Nice selection and mine was Very cold!!! (90 degrees today). Pizza: Succulent! Great texture & flavor on a perfectly cooked thin crust. Generous amounts of toppings (about 30 to choose from if I recall), that all were flavorful and fresh. Served on a pedestal with hot pie pan, with grated parmesan and crushed red peppers, clean cutlery and ample napkins. Five out of Five Stars in my estimation....you should COME HERE!!! ***If you are tired of spending hard earned money on a substandard pizza product from people with bad attitudes....COME HERE!!! ***Looking to hang out in Gordon Square/Battery Park before a theater show?... COME HERE!!! ***Tried Others??? COME HERE and compare folks!!! Top 5 in Greater Cleveland area. ***GREAT people serving GREAT food and cold beer (wine too) in a CLEAN atmosphere that has a GREAT patio available with a view of the lake and an occasional slow moving train. *** I met you by chance, but Ill be back. Cha is nestled in the new Battery Park community which has access to Edgewater State Park via a tunnel and newly constructed arial walkway to the new 12 million dollar Beach House and observation deck. One could easily order one of Chas delicious pizzas to go and take a five minute walk to the park, then enjoy taking in one of many beautiful Lake Erie sunsets with a friend. Cha offers well thought out fare which is freshly prepared and their thoughtful and attentive staff will make you feel right at home while you drink and dine inside this old brick warehouse which is a contemporary open space with a flavor of industrial and library appointments. A great place to meet with a friend or large group after work! Highly recommended!

Ive been here a half dozen times and the service is uniformly bad. The pizza is sometimes okay and sometimes cardboard. Nearly every time they are missing a good chunk of the menu. This past time (my last) they took ap orders (they didnt have 3 of the things we wanted so we ordered 2 calamari) and drink orders. Then they came out and said that they didnt have the calamari, so we ordered pizzas. Then about 30 minutes after we ordered they brought out drinks. Another 30 minutes later pizza came out. I had an empty water for about and hour. Then it took 40 minutes to get a check, during which time I missed the sunset. These people dont know how to run a restaurant. 2 stars because pizza was okay this last time.

Really good pizza, tasty wings, nice happy hour selections. The drinks were not watered down and below bottom shelf like some happy hours. Icing on the cake, the service. It was stellar! Great atmosphere and staff. A must return.
