I, for the life of me can not understand the hype behind this cookie cutter "Craft Bar" I do like the fact that they carry a ok selection of Ohio made beer. We sat at the bar so Ill start with the service, the bartender was polite and attentive although she just didnt pay attention to what we ordered. I ordered 5 wings and received 10 and thats not necessarily a bad thing if the wings were good, these were mushy and not much warmer than room temperature. The BBQ sauce was good but just couldnt get my head around eating the gross wings, we ate 3 of the 10. The Blue cheese was also very disappointing and tasteless. My wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich it looked burnt but I was told its some kind of pepper the use in the batter, the chicken was moist but certainly not a great fried chicken sandwich by any means, the bun was also very soggy and she even got the slaw on the side to help prevent this. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with grilled onions, upon receiving I noticed pickles, tomato, and lettuce. I also had a soggy bun.If i wanted a salad on my burger I would have asked for it. I ordered Truffle fries with my burger but the barmaid forgot those so I had to wait for them. Not worth the wait or the calories. The fries were greasy and under cooked, we actually picked a few raw fries out of the jar. And for the love of meat, please serve steak knives with a sandwich, watching people tear there sandwiches up with butter knives is absolutely painful to watch. This place is a total Craft cliche.

Unfortunately had to return back home to Alabama from North Canton due to family reasons, but The Rail is one of the many things I miss about my adopted hometown. I see many complain about the price, and yes, it isnt a "4 for $4" value meal. Never was meant to be. When you use quality, fresh ingredients, it gets a bit pricey folks. Theres a reason a Beemer costs more than a Chevy! However, if you are like me (and James Beard, btw), and would rather have a burger than a steak, this place is excellent. Not necessarily your "go to" burger place every time you want one, but definitely a place to get top quality, with options you wont have at most places. And as far as the complaint about not having steak knives, didnt anyone teach you how to eat a sandwich?

Went in for lunch the other day. And paid $38. Got water to drink, I did enjoy the type of ice they have but that was the only enjoyable thing. The burgers were ok. They dont come with fries so you have to pay extra. My husband got the sweet potato fries and for an extra .50 you can get a chipotle mayo. The fries were over cooked and the mayo was bad, not a good combo. Not sure why they would have it on the menu because the flavors dont mix well. The food took forever to come out, it was 2 pm with very few costumer so I have no idea what took so long? They did have a big beer selection so if your into that its worth checking out but unless you like paying for overpriced mediocre food I would save your money and go to Red Robin.

Used to be our go-to place for burgers, fries and beer, but its quickly gone downhill. They changed their fries to these skinny flakes that are hard to pick up, let alone eat and they taste horrible now, too. Burgers are still pretty solid. Service has been hit or miss. Sometimes attentive and excellent, sometimes god awful to the point where Ive flagged the hostess down to take our order because the waitress was playing on her phone. Weve had a few different mixed drinks there and theyre all laughingly weak. Stick with the draft beer. Used to go about twice per month. Now its not even on our radar.

Great burgers! Great sides! My wife and I are regulars here, we come every weekend. Last couple times quality and service wasnt the best. Specifically we came late one night and the kitchen staff was not to pleased and voiced their displeasure quite loudly and the bartender seemed more concerned with closing the bar down than servicing customers. However I dont let one bad experience tarnish my entire experience. Food is almost always perfect. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and its all locally sourced. If youve never eaten at the Rail you are missing out.

Very glad I decided on this place amongst a few others in the area. Im in town for work and if you are too... its a quick walk from the Holiday Inn and the Hyatt Place shuttle will bring you. The happy hour specials are awesome and the service at the bar was stellar! Heather could not have done a better job at being attentive and pleasant. Food was delish and the draft beer/cider selection was on point. Heather will help steer you in the right direction for beer if you tell her what ya like. 5 stars for each: food, service, drinks and happy hour prices!

Avg for the price. My burger was not cooked right and had to return to the kitchen...its a burger place . Temps should not be off. My husbands burger was sloppy and had to eat with knife and fork. Oh they totally forgot our appetizer. Service was good. And they did take my burger off the bill and offer a discount for next visit. This was good of them but i was not therecm for free food and a discount. I was there for a meal WITH my family. Probably try at lunch time again, as really this is just an expensive burger joint.

They have 24 taps and you wont find bud light in any of them. Need I say more? I was sold on this place before my food even came out. Bartender came right up and was happy to discuss a good beer choice which was paramount given Im not a local or familiar with Akron local craft options. Burger we on point, didnt even try to order a side, knew I wouldnt have room but the truffle fries looked amazleballs. Do it.

just looking at these prices, i want to never go back. 5 DOLLARS FOR A SIDE??? 12.50 FOR A BURGER?? it just sucked. and if the owner replies, stop using this copy-pasted computer written response. this place is more expensive than applebees or olive garden. AND THIS IS A BURGER PLACE! i strongly reccomend you lower prices. and not just 50 cents either. 4.25 FOR HOMEMADE POTATO CHIPS?? i cant believe the prices.

Pretty awesome burger. I had the Mojo which is half beef, half andouille sausage. Had really good heat to it with pepper jack. Fresh ingredients and very good service. I visit the area from Cleveland about three days every week and may have just found my new go to in Canton for lunch. Real happy with this one.

The food here is so fresh and tastes incredible. They use Ohio raised meats and serve a variety of local draft beers, My favorite is the SW Chicken Naan sandwich. The pulled pork is a close runner up, especially with sweet potato fries. I took my mom here and she liked the rail burger..like a lot.

My buddy and I stopped in last week, it was delicious! We both were still thinking about our burgers the next day they were so good! I got the 7th heaven burger and the pulled pork cheese fries. The fries were too much for me to eat! Had to split them with him.... Everything was great!
