My client and I went here today for lunch and WE were totally disappointed. I tried to order pork and sauerkraut, the cashier incormed me that because of hall of fame weekend business they were out of sauerkraut. Ok I still agreed to take the pork with other sides. The pork was luke warm, I informed the cashier and she offered me a carry out container to take it home and heat it up, then she went and talked to the other worker together they checked the temperature and then she came over and offered me another meat choice. So then my client asked about the dinner roll...AGAIN we were informed because of Hall of Game weekend they were out. I understand things happen but there should always be a backup plan...we should have been offered a discount ,some desert or something. I cant say that I would try it again.

American Oven has suffered through the renovations of the plaza where they reside and has come out a winner! They are known for their homestyle food at decent prices. They have recently changed up their menu and its a good change. Still offering the same good homemade food, but their seasonal offerings and specials make a revisit a good thing. Sign up for their emails and enjoy really good prices on an array of good meals. (cant beat their original, the turkey platter, in my opinion) see picture!

Just what I needed, my favorite comfort food- The turkey, 2 sides & bun made me feel like I was home for Thanksgiving. No cooking yeah and no dishes to do just enjoy. Since the name change and all the people in town for Hall of Fame I think it would be a great idea if they posted the menu outside. They Could also check and see if menus could be left at the local hotels and businesses in the plaza. Id hate to see this good food go. Its hard to keep restaurants in business.

Food was average, but after having to ask the girl making our sandwiches to change her gloves, becasue she wiped her nose with her gloved hand, we debated on leaving and 4 people behind us in line saw it happen, heard me ask her to change her gloves, and left to go to Moes because of her. Specials or not, I doubt we will be going back. Sad, because when it was Thanksgiving Dinner, it was a good place to eat.

Ordered carryout for a home birthday party for 10 - Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, fantastic Mac & Cheese, and plenty of Gravy!!!. Everything tasted GREAT and had plenty of leftovers - ate them for days!!! Compliments galore from all the guests. Could not make it ourselves for less $$$. If you dont try it, youll never know what youre missing!!!

Thee best all around food Ive ever had!!! I could eat here 5 times a week because every meal is amazing. Roast beef, Turkey, fish, and ALL of the sides are just some of my favorites. Also, the turkey nuggets are to die for and can be found nowhere else. Love this place!!!!!

You can always expect great homemade tasting food here! I love the roast beef open faced sandwich! Its enough for two meals! Their fish during lent tastes good, but is disappointing in size. If you want good home0cooking, stay with the roast beef or the turkey!

My mom and I love eating here, the food is sooo delicious. The only thing that I dont like from here are the turkey nuggets. The shredded white turkey is so juicy and just amazing. All of the sides are delicious too, everything is fresh! Definitely recommend.

Went in the over day for dinner about 5:30pm. The food was very bad. It looked old like it was sitting there all day and hadnt been changed out once. Staff was unfriendly, no smile or hello. They just looked at us as they were sweating over the food. Gross!

American Over is absolutely fantastic. I am hooked! The turkey is so tender and the egg noodles are incredible! Such an awesome environment too and there is no shortage of parking. If you havent been here you must check it out!

Everything here is homemade. Tastes just like mom used to make. Even the vegetables are delicious. Turkey is better than mine. Highly recommend trying this place out. Service was great also, very friendly and patient, Im old.

It took me less than 5 min to eat the one slice of meatloaf, canned green beans and one ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes for 9 bucks almost forgot the diner roll that was as big as a golf ball. And the tables where dirty.

When Im craving a Thanksgiving dinner meal, I recommend trying this place! I usually order the small bowls with 3 sides. The sides are delicious. My go to is turkey with Mac and cheese, sweet potato mash, and carrots.

Good home cooked comfort food . I follow American oven on Facebook and get weekly coupons which is always a steal . Turkey ,sweet potato and green beans are a must try. Staff very friendly and helpful .
