Ive never had nor heard of City Barbque and sine it was close I decided to give it a try. well, Ill say it was worth it! I got more than enough food for very little money. the food was delicious. I went all in and had the "More Cowbell" sandwich, sweet potato casserole, corn pudding and banana pudding for desert.,So I tho i get I could eat it all but the size of the sandwich made that impossible! Im sure if possible I would have without a doubt! The staff was very friendly, made suggestions and as simple as it sounds, it made a difference to me when the employee heard it was my first time there He offered me a drink (soda, which I didnt order or pay for) and even took the time to explain their different sauces. I couldnt decide so he gave me 2 to try. Id definitely go back next to.e Im near.

I order food for medium to large groups as a part of my job. Ive ordered from this location on several occasions already and have enjoyed fantastic service, piping hot food, and accuracy in filling the orders. As a disabled person, I cant carry the food to my car myself- at most places I order, I have to request help every single time. Not at this City Barbecue. They remember me AND which car I drive, so the second Im done paying, my food is loaded in my car with no extra fuss. LOVE IT! Oh, and this is the only restaurant Ive found where the food I got actually looked like pictures in advertising. Gotta love actually getting what you expect.

Excellent food. Great value. I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries around $8, generous portions, great atmosphere, superior customer service from the manager, Kevin. Was super pleased to find this place for dinner while lodging down the street a few minutes away at the Crowne Plaza Blue Ash Hotel. Would love to see them come to my town in Lake Mary, FL. Note: Need to enter keyword barbeque for it to show upin the Search Nearby Places on Google Maps. I dont understand why it does not show up when entering keywords food and restaurant - would fix it if I knew how or if it is possible.

This place is t life changing, but it has decent BBQ. Mom and I shared a half rack of ribs, Brisket, bacon loaded cheese fries and slaw. The Ribs had quite a bark that had a ton of great flavor! However , they were no where near as tender as Ive found other places. Same with the Brisket - not very tender. And definitely in need of sauce. The loaded fries were enjoyable, because how can you go wrong with cheese and bacon. The service was friendly and I wouldnt be against a return trip. But I have other favorites in Cincinnati when it comes to BBQ.

Great food, friendly staff, I had the brisket sandwich lunch special with corn pudding and OMG their banana pudding for dessert, let me tell you... thats some sexy banana pudding lol it was like a banana foster pudding or something. That was a creative, unexpected treat. Keep up the good work! Oh I didnt want extra bbq sauce because I thought some would already be on the brisket but there isnt and I was almost home before I realized my assumption was wrong. However, I ate the brisket sandwich naked and it was still delicious.

This place does not deserve its four star rating. I got two pulled pork sandwiches for a friend and I as well as two orders of fries. The buns were soggy, meat was very fatty and lacked flavor, and the fries were limp / soggy. I couldnt get more than half way through my sandwich because of how much fat it had in it. My friends sandwich had two bones in it even which is a choking hazard. Overall one of the worst BBQ restaurants I have experienced. I really hope I dont get sick...

Best small chain barbeque in the area. Consistently good smoked meats and decent sides. I dont usually like coleslaw, but I heartily recommend their non-mayo based slaw. The turkey is divine. Only complaint at the Blue Ash facility is the cramped indoor dining area. Needs more space or fewer tables. Nice that it has outdoor dining, but eating at the intersection of Kenwood road and Pfeiffer road isnt really all that pleasant.

We were visiting from NC and absolutely loved City BBQ! From the pulled pork and brisket to the hush puppies and macaroni and cheese, everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The line was very long but due to the organization and quickness of the operation made it through very quickly. The owner was super friendly and even gave us a free piece of cake for our travels. Definitely going back and recommend to all!

If you leave this place dissatisfied its your own fault. We have eaten here at least a dozen times and the staff here absolutely overachieves EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! Food is Fabulous. My personal favorite is the cukes and onions. I Love the Full Cut Brisket and the ribs.... But you better be early for the ribs cause they often sellout. This is an easy 5 star. Refer your friends kinda place.

Really good food, just kind of pricey. Since they dont really have combos, a sandwich (or just the meat), sides and a drink will run you up to 12 or 13 dollars. Not horrible, but a few ticks above the normal nonetheless. The food is excellent, the brisket might be the best in town, and the service is solid. An excellent place to eat, but the price prevents it from receiving a perfect score.

Their food is excellent, the customer service is excellent, and the speed (even when there is a well-deserved line) is incredible. The Blue Ash Kenwood is always well-stocked and super-clean. I wish I could be as consistent and good as City BBQ when I smoke meats (particularly with brisket and chicken--theirs is wonderful). They have the formula down and it works really well.

Good food but nothing special just generic BBQ which isnt necessarily a bad thing just not as good as the real thing. Lunch plate is a good deal with a small sandwich and two sides. I think the best thing on the menu is the fries and are probably some of the best I have ever had but at a BBQ place it should be the meat.

Not totally impressed. Ribs were on the dry side. Brisket 3.7/5. Staples for good bbq for me are Mac and cheese and baked beans. Mac and cheese was decent, beans were not up to bbq par. Bbq is hard to please me after Ive been to some top joints around the country everyone else seemed to enjoy it inside the place.

Decent brisket and nice service. The baked beans had a good flavor that is based on their BBQ sauce. I had trouble telling the difference between the original and sweet, but both were good. It would help if the staff paid a little more attention to the self serve sauce and drink bar. Just some additional cleaning.

Nice interior and exterior seating areas. Food was good. Order at the register and then pick up at other window. Choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Bottles of 10-12 sauces for you to choose to put in little cups for your meal. Also pickles and peppers to take for your sandwiches. Nice clean place.
