When somebody told me about this place I thought concept sounded awful. Southern food mixed with Mexican? Yuck. However, my friends dragged me to Rednexican and its actually great! The food is good and gets extra marks from me for being different. Ive had many different dishes here and its all good. I like the beer selection as well. Price is very reasonable as well. Overall I enjoyed the concept of thier food and cant really find fault with anything.

Not a great portion size for the price. The tacos were okay, the chips a little better, but the side I had was really not good. I ordered the mac n cheese, which is usually a sure bet. But somehow a place which purports to specialize in southern/Mexican fusion had the most dry, flavorless mac n cheese. Take a cue from Korean/southern fusion spot Heirloom barbecue: combine the richness of the traditional dish with the spiciness of Mexican food.

Absolutely one of my favorite spots...kind of a "where-everybody-knows-your-name" type of joint. The Ramrod Cod tacos, PIMPP (pimento cheese and pulled pork) quesadilla, and the brisket Bubbarito are phenomenal. Their brunswick stew is some of the best Ive ever had and the mac and cheese is awesome...plus, free refills of chips and salsa! Also, Ive NEVER liked collard greens, but I love theirs. Good beer selection and cool atmosphere too.

First time in. Absolutely loved it. Had the shrimp and grits which is only available the second Saturday of every month. Absolutely amazing. Also tried the Chupacabra sandwich. Also great. They have a large selection of local and craft beers and a nice little 7 stool bar. The staff is great and extremely friendly. Will be visiting again very soon.

Great food! Have not had anything there that I didnt like. Mexican food with a funky Southern kick, but nothing weird. Love the Chupacabra sandwich (pulled pork and smoked gouda on Texas Toast) and The Pimp quesadilla (pulled pork, pimento cheese with smoked gouda). Add the homemade guacamole, and yum! Well worth the stop.

Go get you some...excellent food with a twist. Try all the various burritos. Favorite of mine is anything with the ancho sauce. Cubarrito is awesome, especially with a side of stew. Wash it all down with your choice from a nice microbrew selection. Simply, its tex-mex meets bbq in a great way. Great people and service too!

The overall experience was great! Casual dining with a twist. I ordered the uptown tacos (fried mahi mahi) and my boyfriend got the mexi mac quesadilla with smoked sausage. The food was excellent and I loved that everything was made fresh to order. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

A local favorite! Weve been frequenting Rednexican since the day they opened. The food is basic but just down right tasty! Always great when they have some local musicians jamming out in the evenings while you enjoy an ice cold craft brew and some tasty brisket tacos! Staff has always been super friendly.

The good: Fun ambiance, interesting menu options, delicious brisket, fast service. The bad: Very stingy on the cheese in the quesadillas (which very much needed saucing), dry tortillas, unimpressive kids menu, confusing menu, bland (but aromatic) macaroni. Great idea - lost something in the execution.

This was the worst Mexican food of my whole life. Seasoning was nonexistent. The queso was terrible. The fish was soggy. Im confused as to how they had a full house of people, yet their food was trash. How? Their food doesnt even deserve a star. Red-trashican. The lady at the front was nice though.

Fun little restaurant with an eclectic Mexican/Redneck menu. I have eaten almost everything offered and have not been disappointed. Everything is fresh and made to order. A must visit when in Newnan.
