This troubles me to write this, but I am left with no alternative! Decided to get the office lunch and walk over since it is only three blocks away. First mistake, it is 95 degrees outside. Second mistake not looking at order while I was standing in the restaurant. I assumed that with two ladies running the front counter and no other customers they could get my order right, nope to busy talking to each other to worry about my order. Of course, get back to the shop and I specifically asked for one of each flavors of sauce so everyone could try and decide which they liked best since this was our first visit here. I open the bag and there are only three little cups in there, one for each sauce. That wont go very far. I march back over there and asked them how they dropped they ball on that. Dont know, we are sorry, that will be 25 cents each for these. Wow screwed my order up and charged me for the sauce anyway. I didnt have time to argue, paid for the sauce and left. Got back to the shop and sat down to eat and guess what? They shorted us a sandwich! Wow, another trip back. Here you go we are sorry. Where is the manager, I have had enough of this! Manager is not here, we can call him if you like... I do have to give credit where it is due... The food and the sauce was very good! That is the only reason they got two stars instead of one. Doubt Ill be back.......

I came to try this new restaurant based on the high reviews but left disappointed. I dont understand the choice of styrofoam plates and cups and plastic cutlery. I expect that from a picnic setting but not from a restaurant. And to charge $.25 for a cup when you spent $20 for the meal is inexcusable. The food was average at best. The meat from the pork plate was dry, the macaroni and cheese had no flavor (and was also served in a styrofoam cup) and the fries... well, I didnt finish my meal. The setting is rustic and appears pleasant but smells horribly musty. I came and gave them a try but was not very pleased. I wish them luck with their business model. I understand that they also have a location in Zebulon so they have some experience to draw from. Good Luck to you folks.

A local favorite! Weve have visited many times, the food has always been on point. The Texan sandwich is one of my favorites. I also love the fire and ice cucumber they add on the Kogi taco. The decor needs a little finishing but who cares when the food is this good? BBQ is always a finicky topic in the south, everyone seems to like it just slightly different. I really like the sauces they have on the tables, definitely more vinegar based by I personally love that style. We recently walked in right before closing time and the staff was super accommodating. This is very rare and admirable in the restaurant industry, often they will just tell you the kitchen is already closed. Even coming in late the food was delicious, everyone loved what they ordered.

I Love BBQ! I have lived in the area for almost a year and half, moving from Columbus. Today as I walked downtown around the Square, I began to smell something. Sure enough around the block and down on the Corner, I found The Oink Joint! Excited I went inside and I was sure not disappointed! I ordered a BBQ sandwich, fries and drink! BBQ was exceptional, tender and most. They also have a perfect sweet sauce! Fries, crispy and hot! The atmosphere is simple, laid back and so accommodating. I spent an hour, just relaxing and enjoying lunch! Great Price, Great Food, Great Service!! Definitely do not want to miss this place!! Thanks for an Awesome Meal!!

Went with my daughter a couple nights ago. She was craving a BBQ pork sandwich. So I tagged along to give it a try. We ordered our food To-Go. I got the combo plate(chicken & brisket) with 2 sides(both mac-n-chs) and added brunswick stew. Split the plate with boyfriend. Brunswick stew was eh. Little too much tomato base for me. Chicken thighs were pretty good. Brisket even better. The sweet BBQ sauce...could be addicting. Lol And the mac-n-chs....oh my! Definitely not what I expected. They use shell pasta with lots of cheese. Yummmmmmy!!!! We will be going back.

FINALLY a good BBQ joint downtown! Weve been waiting forever for a (good) BBQ place to open up near us and this place certainly doesnt disappoint. Great pulled pork and the mac-n-cheese and brunswick stew are amazing. Cool atmosphere and the food comes out pretty quick. I keep meaning to branch out and try some different things on their menu (because Im sure theyre all great), but I cant get past how good the pulled pork is and I order it pretty much every time.

Absolutely fantastic bbq!! Its super tasty and very tender. Great customer service: the gentleman at the register informed me that the coleslaw was done a little differently here so if I didnt like hed switch it out for a different side for free! And of course the slaw was amazing. But the best side has to be the Mac and cheese. Quaint atmosphere and reasonable prices. Definitely planning on coming back and bring friends next time!!

Well, Im here AGAIN! I cant stay away. Ive got a Big Green Egg and an Electric Smoker at my house AND I consider myself a RIB Man. I do dry rub, wet, and everything you can think of but, I keep coming back here for the ribs. I travel on a regular basis to the Carolinas and Texas but, nothing has beat the Oink Joint. I went in on a Tuesday. It was my first time there and I wanted ribs; however, they only have them on Friday and Saturday. So as I stood there debating whether try something different or go some where else an order of BBQ Tater Tots came up for someone dining in and they looked very tasty. So I went out on a limb to try something different and they were delicious. I cant wait to try something else.

I was in Newnan yesterday for an appointment and afterwards I decided to eat lunch. I looked up restaurants near me and found The Oink Joint. I decided to give it a try and it was a great decision on my part. The food, staff and service were all excellent! Great place to eat lunch with co-workers, grab a bite with friends or take the family.

Just visited the Oink Joint for the first time, and it was nothing short of AMAZING! The pulled pork is the real deal and has obviously been slow cooked for hours. The macaroni is the perfect combination of creamy and baked, and all of the sauces provided were so delicious they were hard to choose from. The staff was also so friendly:)

Some of the best barbecue I have ever had. The pulled pork, ribs, and chicken are all amazing. I havent tried the brisket yet but will on my next visit. I especially recommend the mac and cheese for a side. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, quick service, and awesome food. This place covers all the bases.
