The restaurant is nice plain decor. The parking is horrible. The hostess and waitstaff. Walkway from female customers and have to ask to get wait on,talk back rude, rush to get rid of, yell and interrupt, run away and not come back while wait on, walk away from customers while they are talking(females) are talking to them, repeat the same questions, eat while wait on They both walked away from customers to have a gossip session. And customers could not get wait on for awhile. Hostess threw menu on the table. The cost is fine dining. Many items on the menu to order. The food is full of food. the fries were on top of everyones hamburger. And we had to get an extra plate. The waitstaff not want to write down the order. We had to ask them to do it. The waiter we had. Get angry not a tip. Waiter not come back much volunteer.

I came here on a limb one day for Tapa Tuesday. Let me just say the Chef here is unbelievable! Chef Curtis comes up with some of the most interesting and tasty dishes I have ever had in my life. Even their normal day to day menu is delicious! I would truly recommend 1703 to all my friends and family!!! The inside of the restaurant is so relaxing, clean and friendly. They also have some of the friendliest and knowledgeable staff. Come check them out you will not be disappointed!

Southern Charm

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Winston Salem. They never disappoint. Chef Curtis creates the most amazing dishes. I have had filets, fish, pork belly, salads and one time even chicken fried camel. (It was amazing!) The wine list is great. Service is always good. The owners are attentive and everyone is always very friendly. Treat yourself and go check this place out. I will bet that this will quickly become one of your favorite places as well.

“One of the best!” This is one of the best meals Ive had. My wife got filet mignon which was the best she has ever had. My ribeye was extremely tender and I am very picky about my steaks. The waitress had an excellent knowledge of the wines. I cannot say enough good things about our experience.
