I took my family to First Watch for breakfast before going to church this past Sunday. I chose this restaurant because it was recommended to me by a friend. It was early so we were able to be seated immediately by a pleasant staff. The menu had some very interesting choices and so I indulged in an extra meal choice to share with my wife and youngest son. I ordered Eggs Benedict with Ham and Tomato and also ordered a Salmon Toast dish. My eggs were presented with the yolks very well done. The server immediately offered to have the plate redone, but I asked that we just do the eggs over. I began to eat the Salmon Toast and was enjoying it until I got about 1/4 of the way through and found that the bread had been burned completely black on the underside. By this point my redone poached eggs were brought out and were served one atop the other in a coffee cub with no Hollandaise sauce and a good bit of water in the cup. I fished them out and found them very bland. At this point I gave up and finished an unremarkable cup of coffee before leaving The manager made an attempt to remedy the situation by removing $2.00 or so from the bill and offering me a gift card to come back. I asked that he give the value of the card to our server as she had not done anything wrong. $40.00 + for a very unsatisfactory meal experience.

Our service was fantastic. I believe her name was Tanya. However we were a little put off as we were sitting near the kitchen by the conversations the waitresses were having between each other and with the kitchen staff. Certainly not appropriate for customers to hear. The potatoes were wonderful, the tomato basil soup was tasty. And the monterey sandwich was good. I was not impressed with the omelet, it was cold and the ingredients were not plentiful. There was very little cheese melted on the sausage and bacon. The onions were too large and there actually were no mushrooms. My husband requested no avocado on his sandwich and the avocado was in fact on his sandwich. I realize that we got there at 1 and the restaurant closes at 2:30 so the servers seemed to be more occupied with getting their side work completed and their customers in and out. The hallway walls to the restrooms was very dirty but the tables themselves were clean. One of the waitresses was not friendly and would cut in front of us while returning to our table from the restroom. She seemed more occupied with getting her customers in and out so she would be ready to leave at 2:30. We will return again and possibly try a different item on the menu. Overall it was not a bad experience but definitely could use some improvement given the prices for the menu items.

We come to this place every Sunday after church and always have a good time and experience until the last couple of times. The first time we waited and when food finally got to our table... It was cold. I ordered the farm stand breakfast tacos and the tortillas were falling apart and cold like they just took them out of the package and threw them on my plate. The second time we got there at 10:45 am and when I talk to the woman on the front desk she said it was going to be a 20 min wait for two people and a high chair. I sat right in front of them and I could see people coming in and out... People who came after me taken back. Parties of 3, 4, 5 and even 7 people ( who arrived after me) taken back. The 20 min wait for two people and a hight chair became 50 min. I talk to the people at front desk twice I could see my name in the list by it self names before and after mine were scratch off. I even told the lady the amount of time that I had been waiting. When we finally are taken back we sat in the table for about ten more minutes before our server came to greet us. Nothing against the server. He has served us before and had a good experience and hopefully this time my food wont be cold since Im still waiting here at the restaurant.

Weve eaten at this location probably ten times, and usually its been alright. Decent always, downright good a couple times, but unfortunately our visit this Saturday was very disappointing. Everything was served cold - barely above room temp - which made for some pretty disgusting eggs. They offered to remake it but we declined because the cold bite of eggs kinda killed our appetite. Surprisingly, they still charged us for coffee. I may have drank a full cup, my wife at most drank half a cup - not a great deal for $6. Based more on the lousy customer service of not comping the coffee at that point, we probably will not return. If I rated them solely on the basis of this most recent visit, Id give them zero stars if that were possible. I rated them 2 stars to reflect that we had positive experiences in the past.

Parking is a problem. The lot is small. It was not busy. And almost left the restaurant. Nobody came to want on us. The restaurant not busy. The hostess came and stood and stared at us. We had to ask her to wait on us. She got angry at us. And took us to the table quickly. The decor is nice. And the tables are big. And the seats are comfortable. The waitress spending a lot of time talking to males. At the table next to us. We had to ask her to wait on us. And told her we are on a time limit. We only had time for a cup of coffee. She was slow to come wait on us. And we had to ask her to bring a menu. We look at everything. And not have time to eat it. A lot of different meals to eat. At average prices. The service was bad. I only had a glass of water. Not feel like spending money there.

The food here is great, especially the pancakes! Probably the best around. BUT, the service here is HORRIBLE. Ive been 5+ times and never once have we had good service. Either us or tables around us have problems with getting their food, refills, and even getting the right check. The last time we were there a 2 top, that was there before we arrived, probably long before, didnt get their food until AFTER we left. Probably a good hour. No one had even checked to see if they needed anything during that time. In fact, several other tables got sat and received their food before they did. And the worst thing is, this wasnt a one time thing, Ive seen it happen every time weve been there. UNACCEPTABLE!

First time here and we had a GREAT experience. Tequila was our server and she was extremely helpful, getting me a gluten free menu immediately. We were curious about the fresh squeezed juices and ordered 2, she brought samples of all three and I am so glad she did. We changed our order and were completely satisfied. The portions were quite big and most tasty. The potatoes were a little crispy for my taste but it is my personal preference, nothing wrong with them. I will definitely come back. Hope they keep employing attentive, sweet servers like Tequilla. :) Thank you
