I will never eat here or refer this place to anyone ever again! I use to come here quite often but after I left my wallet there (which I know I left it there considering this was the last place I took it out before I went home), me and my family were the second to last people to leave when the restaurant was closing, the only other people other than the workers was a elderly couple. So i called the next day to speak to someone and they assured me it wasnt in the safe and so I explained the situation and asked that they check the cameras so at least they could see what happened to it and the manager that was on the phone kept saying only the owner has access to the cameras and that it wasnt a good time for her to check because it was a busy day. I told her I know it is a busy day but this is my wallet we are talking about and asked if the owner was in, she ignored my question and continued to repeat over and over after everything I said that she could take my name and number. At that point I guess she was playing a little game. So I went in about a hour later and the same manager called the owner who she had already briefed on the situation, and gave me the phone. The owner immediately told me how its not in the safe and therefore my wallet is not there and that they have a cleaning crew that comes and checks everywhere when they clean. I asked her about checking the cameras as well and mind u she has been defensive of everything I been asking her. She also told me I need to retrace my steps because my wallet is not there talking to me like a child all the while she has been cutting me off and talking over me the whole conversation and as soon as I say something she tells me not to cut her off because she is so called trying to help me, she said Im not giving her any incentive for going the extra mile to help me! a paying customer!! She claimed I was berating her when all I was trying to understand why a person who owns a restaurant would be talking to a customer like this. After a while she finally says she will check the cameras after being so rude to me and asked me "do u even know how a camera system works?" And I said I sure do and at my job when a customer asks us to check we do just that for this but once again she was cutting me off. So I said u didnt even ask me the appropriate questions to check on the camera the times and everything she gonna say u already told the manager which I had not so then she took my info. All this time having me on the phone going back and forth with her in front of her customers! And Im pretty sure she was probably at the other location because it was loud when she first got on the phone then it got quiet like she went in the back. Later that night she finally called (blocking her number) saying how conveniently that the camera wasnt facing where I was sitting then saying your welcome when I never told her thank u, just to be smart to me. I think she is a joke as a owner and should not be in this type of business if this is the way she treats people. I know one of the waitresses or the clean up crew stole my wallet and I hope they get what they deserve! Now I have to get all new cards and IDs all because she wants to cover for her employees rather than being a decent person to a paying customer! Never will come here again ** Update** I called back the next day to see if it came up and she said no we dont have it then called me back 5 minutes later to say it was in the safe the whole time just in the back of it! That is ridiculous, and unexecptable !! I told them the owner owes me an apology and she still has yet to give me one!

The food as always was great, though there have been a couple of instances of eggs not done correctly, but they always fix it right away and cheerfully. I have always been disappointed with the coffee, however...such a pallid brew with no real taste to it...it reminds me of diner coffee in any other diner...and not deserving of the Citrus name. I have often been tempted to ask them to let me show them how to make a great cup of coffee. So anyway, I usually end up just drinking water, and going to Starbucks afterward. This past Sunday the 20th Dec, it was cold and I really wanted some coffee. I had seen their espresso coffee available and thought...maybe that would be better than their regular coffee, I mean at $4.00 it had better be. I ordered a mocha and it came all frothy and pretty, but with the froth gone, there was about 1/3 cup of drink left. After tasting it, I found it was little better than a packet of hot cocoa mix and topped with steamed milk. I asked the waitress if she would it exchange it for the regular coffee, but she said their policy was such that she couldnt. What?!? She said she could add some more chocolate syrup to it, but that wasnt the problem. Since I had no other recourse, I said sure, but after she did I just took a couple more sips and left the rest. It was an insult to my $4.00. I was astounded as Citrus has always had a policy of treating the customer right. I told her I made better coffee at home and at work. I am not such a snob that it has to be Starbucks...I make really good coffee from just a container of Folgers. Most restaurants use pods which DO NOT USE enough coffee grounds. It is supposed to be a full tablespoon of coffee grounds for every cup, and I bet if they took those pods apart that they use, it would fall way short of that. Whats really funny is, Mc Donalds and Hardees makes really good coffee too, so folks at Citrus, dont tell me its an expense thing. I just paid you $4.00 for a 25 cent half cup of coffee which at Starbucks I could have gotten a full cup of for the same price. AND they would have remade it for me with no excuses if it were not right. Considering you have a policy in place of not returning a bad cup of espresso, I am thinking you have had many such complaints to even have a policy to take care of the problem. Maybe you need to rethink your coffee making. Just because it may be a good blend youre using doesnt mean that its being made correctly. Trust me if you dont use enough of the most expensive coffee out there, it will still taste like crap.

It saddens me to review this restaurant so low. The food was great. The atmosphere was very inviting. The wait staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We had finished our meal and my 7 week old was in need of a diaper change. I went to the restroom and didnt see a baby changing station. We requested to speak to the manager on duty to see if there was somewhere I could change him since it was too cold to change him in the back of my car. The manager on duty (April) told me that there was not, and let me know that I could go to the bathroom and put him on the floor and change him. Appalled at this suggestion, I explained to her the obvious, that as clean as the bathrooms appeared, it was still a public bathroom, and I was not about to put my newborn on the bathroom floor to change him. April became more aggressive than I liked, and actually walked away while I was in the middle of speaking with her. Walked. Away. After a few minutes of trying to process what had just happened, one of the owners came to my table, apologized for Aprils behavior, and walked me to a secluded place where I could change my babys diaper. While I am very grateful for the owner to step up and make it right, (which she totally made it right) I dont feel as though this restaurant is family friendly, and I dont have any desire to go back. I really wish I could review this restaurant better.
