After being herded like cattle in their "waiting area," we finally got to sit down. Ive never felt so rushed in my life. The waiter must have asked me 3 times in 5 minutes if I was done eating when I had at least half my plate left. I ended up just saying I was done so he would shut up and I could finally leave. We ended up spending more time waiting, cramped, shoulder to shoulder, than we did eating. The whole entry way design is a nightmare. People are trying to push their way to the front desk to ask how long the wait is while other people are constantly pushing their way through to pay at the desk. This place is having an identity crisis. They think theyre high class, but yet they act like a diner where you pay up front. I will never be going back to any of this restaurants locations.

Great place!! Ive been going here since they opened. If you go after church on Sunday or during lunch hours during the week, anticipate waiting for a while. Its a small place, but the wait is worth it if you have time. I always eat breakfast here no matter the time of day because Im hooked on it, so I have no idea what the lunch menu tastes like...LOL. I LOVE the waffles (pecan, chocolate chip, blueberry, and strawberry), French toast, and pancakes. I dont eat pork and they do have turkey sausage and bacon. Its a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Ive had them cater a breakfast at work before and it was excellent!! My coworkers enjoyed the food and it was reasonably priced.

My family and I visited while staying with family. The food was good. It was a good low-key place to eat. It was also kid- friendly. My brother, who is a vegetarian, ordered a veggie omelet. There was a mix up in the kitchen and he was given an omelet with bacon in it. Although the waitress was very apologetic, and had new omelets made, the experience was ruined. I understand that mistakes happen, but I doubt he will ever eat there again. Its a typical dinner style restaurant. If youre looking for simply good food, nothing fancy, this is a good place to eat.

We were craving Brigs food enough to drive across town for it, because Google said they were open to 8:30, and I thought "YAY, Brigs has expanded their hours!" But we arrived at 7:30 to find the clear sign saying they were open till 2:30 daily. So now we are sad, because Brigs food is so good, and because we have lost faith in the almighty Googles accuracy. Hopefully the restaurant will see this and see to it that Google fixes the hours open so there will be no more sad customers. Long live Brigs! Well be back for brunch.

I thought it was good, very nice bacon/cheese omelet and home fries were good too. They come across as not really being a chain (I think they are, anyway) but they dont really seem like one. More of a neighborhood restaurant feel which I like. I was only going to give them 4 stars at first over price but then I considered that if you go during the week, they have some really good specials, so I guess the price was reasonable for Sunday brunch. My advice is to go during the week for breakfast though.

After I moved to North Carolina, I went to Briggs for breakfast a couple times- maybe every other weekend or so but its finally come to end. I only went to Briggs because I did not know of many breakfast restaurants. I dont know what the huge line is all about but if you want a seat, make sure you are prepared to wait half an hour- and sign your name the moment you arrive! The food is.. just so-so. I prefer Waffle House- although more shabby, the food seems to be better.

5 of 5 on food and 1 of 5 on customer service. We were a party of 11 and after waiting for 45 mins (which is understandable on a Sunday) we were given an extremely cramped place to seat. When the manager asked me I told him that I am too cramped and I could barely move my hands. The place next to us was free but he simply said no and walked away. Please go to the one on high house in cary if you want good service along with good food

If you are looking for a nice spot for a good breakfast, here it is. The pancakes are delicious along with everything else Ive tried. The wait staff always has a smile on their face and the wait time isnt very long at all. Yes... if you come here on a weekend, it will be insanely busy! Come during the week, just wished they would stay open later then 2:30 every day.

I love coming to Brigs! It has a charming Southern atmosphere fit for all ages and their menu is big enough to where I can come frequently and avoid ordering the same thing for weeks. I ordered a waffle with cheese eggs and grits this time. The waffle and cheese eggs were superb but the grits were a bit bland. My only complaint is that the wait was too long.

Clean restaurant, nice staff, good parking, inexpensive food... It is a good idea to go here to get something to eat. But make sure you do not mind the wait on a Sunday, or that it may take a little longer than normal for staff to see about serving you (that is not the normal, but it does happen when they are busy.)

In my opinion, the best breakfast place in the triangle area. Ive ordered over 10 different items on their menu and everything is fantastic. Although I cant speak to their lunch entrées, this is my go-to place of choice for breakfast, and I bring my out of town friends here, who are always impressed as well.

Great breakfast spot in Durham. They have a ton of locations so they are easy to get to. The staff is super friendly and it is your classic, find-anything-ever-eaten-at-breakfast-ever type of place. Order any of the omelettes or platters because they are filling and great. Good coffee, pancakes and service.

This place was great. Food was amazing. Great dinner food with some twists on classics that they pull off really well. Id try to get There early if possible on weekends as it gets crowded. Service was great too. Despite being packed, our server was over to our table several times checking in on us.

Good breakfast joint, but its not Benetis. If you like long lines, higher prices, and cramped quarters, choose this place over the more personalized experience at Benetis (just down the road). Nothign really wrong here, youll enjoy your meal, but its the lesser of two close competitors, imho.

Love this place, one of the better places to get breakfast in Durham. Im a weirdo, so I love their seafood scramble with blue crab, dill, cream cheese, and hollandaise sauce. It comes with shrimp too, but I always order double crab. Decent service and a decent cup of coffee too.

Barely average table service large chain restaurant, with low end diner style frozen processed food, with long waits and a large menu. There are much better options. The chicken and waffles are off brand frozen waffles and low quality frozen chicken tenders.
