Ive been passing it by just because I was on the other side of the 40 or I was in a hurry. Im glad that I decided to stop. The meat here is much better than the other pit beef spots in the area. The beef is moist, tender and quite flavorful compared to others that Ive had. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Good price for all that you get. And you get a hefty serving. So if youre thinking of dessert afterwards, be sure to leave some room. There is parking available and if youre not in a rush, theres a sign that says you can take your order and have a seat in Sorrentos, next door.

Take out (one small bar top with 4 chairs) seems to be popular as I was on the road and ate at the table while the crowd filed through. Had the beef and it was fine. Needed to be heated as it was lukewarm but was good. BBQ sauce, coleslaw and beans all of which were good. Good for a sandwich on the go. They also have ribs but I did not try them.

Found this place on Yelp, purported to be "the best beef in Baltimore" but I was less than impressed. I got a med-rare pork sandwich with horseradish sauce and raw onion, and the whole thing just tasted bland to me. Im from the South, so perhaps my BBQ palate is a bit too discerning, but Ive seriously had better sandwiches at Arbys.

02/25/16: MY COWORKER WILL BE GOING THERE TOMORROW. BUT SHE SAYS THAT HER HUSBANDS LIKES THIS PLACE VERY MUCH. SHE ASSURES ME THY HAVE CORNED BEEF SANDWICHES. SO JUST BECAUSE IS DIFFICULT TO FIND CORNED BEEF SUBS, THIS IS A GOOD PLACE FOR ME.

5.13.2016--got a chance to try their food today. I had the baby back ribs, husband had the Ruben. the portions were generous. We got our order rather quickly. Ive had better, but Ive had worse.

Great food for a reasonable price. Pit beef, fries, and a drink comes it around $11. Love how you get a sample of the meat you order. Fast and very friendly service. Love this place!

The last several times the pit turkey has had a smoked taste. Maybe some people like smoked meats but it plays havoc on my digestive system. Bring back the natural pit turkey please.

Drive the entra 25 minutes to Chaps. Beef was dry dispite requesting medium rare and no area to eat at the restaurant. Wont be going back especially with better options so close.

$8-$12 for lunch. Great food. 1 table. Mostly for take-out. Big sandwich. Great portion size. You will not be left feeling hungry. Great meat flavor.
