If you are a Black American DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT step foot in this restaurant. Im a Black American that love Mexican food and I stopped by this evening after work after finding the place by Google. First I called to ask if it was a Mexican rest and the lady told me they in fact sold Mexican food. So since it was the closet to me I stopped in for dinner and a drink after work. No one was friendly and I had to ask where to order since no one saw me apparently. (Should of been my que to leave). Anyways I finally ordered a BEEF ENCHILADA with beans/rice. Took forever to get my food so I ordered a drink from the bar and enjoyed it while I waited. Waitress brought my food after waiting about 25 mins the first time and it was wrong, she brought Steak Enchiladas and when I told her that I ordered beef enchiladas she seemed upset but took it back. Waited another 20 mins for the "beef enchiladas) only this time she brought soft beef tacos and sweared up and down it was beef enchiladas, so out of frustration of waiting forever I ate some of it. I was pissed that she had thought of me as stupid especially after my questioning her that the order was beef tacos and I heard her walk back to the front and speak her language to other waiters and they laughed about it. So that really pissed me off. I asked for the bill and paid for it bc money wasnt the issue, rather the fact that this rude lady thought I was a fool. So she cursed me and told me not to "fkn" come back and I assured her that would be my first and LAST time there and asked for the manager, of which she then lied saying he was out of the country for the month. LIAR. Seen a lady and asked if she was the manager she said yes however the owner I suppose it was came in and I told him what the problem was. They of course tried to say it was their version of enchiladas which long story short she was pissed bc she brought the wrong thing the first time around and the food was wasted so They thought they would serve me beef tacos and play me as a fool. I paid for it bc again $$ wasnt the issue and one guy offered to give the $$ back and I refused!!! Very unprofessional RUDE SERVICE AND IF YOU ARENT THIER KIND THEY WILL TREAT YOU RUDE like you are supposed to be stupid. BASICALLY RACIST PEOPLE. DONT EVER EAT THERE THE FOOD WAS NASTY AND THE ONLY THING DECENT WAS THE DRINK. I SWEAR ON MY LIFE THOSE ARE FACTS AND IM JUST TRYING TO SPARE SOMEONE THE HEADACHE. DONT EAT THERE YOU WILL LEAVE DISAPPOINTED OR IN MY CASE HOT AS FIRE!!!!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED BLACK AMERICANS!!!!!!! ***CENTRAL AVE LOCATION***h

The food is amazing (except our last visit ). But the service is the worst service I have ever received. We have been about 6 times, just for the food. Hoping that just 1 time we may get good service also. Nope didnt happen. The person that greets you takes your drink order as HE seats you, but never delivers it. You have to ask over and over for your food, drinks, anything you need. All the waitresses stand behind the cashier counter talking, laughing, playing with the music, and could care less what you need. They dont act like they are at work. And very bad attitudes! And the ladies bathroom is disgusting! Thats an understatement. The last time we ate there (was our last) the food was horrible. Greasy, wrong food, looked like pig slop. The food is usually plated very beautiful, so this was new to us. As good as the food has been in the past, this was our last visit!!!

Necesitan unas clases para ser meseras o mucho peor ser cajera!!!! La cajera no tiene modales, y las meseras se olvidan de tu mesa hasta que ya es la hora de pagar. Pagué con tarjeta y Me cobraron dos veces la misma orden, alegando que no sabía usar la máquina para hacer pagos manualmente. Si claro. Ordené tres baleadas, pagué por tres baleadas y solo recibí dos, me di cuenta hasta que ya estaba en mi casa. Que pena de verdad.

I have been here several times, my last visit was yesterday I ordered the shrimp Ranchero it was okay. My previous visits the food was great. I will eat here again. My issue is the service. No one speaks English they dont even try to be helpful they just take the order as if you havent even asked a question. They really need someone bilingual on staff. Obviously the owner doesnt care, I have read some if the reviews no one has bothered to respond, so they must care to cater to the Hispanic customers only. They come across rude because they dont speak English. I am going to find out who owns this place and reach out to them. Hopefully they will care enough to address the issue or perhaps we should start spending our English money elsewhere.

No me gustó el lugar porque es una porquería la comida puede estar buena pero el servicio es una porquería sobre todo el gerente es medio payaso y de tantas meseras que tiene ni una da buen servicio las meseras piensas piensa en que vienen a ligar cuando en realidad se vende poner a trabajar

Fun experience! Its definitely authentic, as I would know, sopes are my moms specialty. Our waiter was outstanding! Food took a while, had the wrong order, but he redeemed the situation by giving us free drinks. He was pleasant and the music playing was bachata, salsa, and old school ballads. Ill definitely keep this place in mind when Im in the mood for some tasty sopes. Im giving it five stars because our waiter was IT! Awesome guy who made us happy we randomly choose this place....and of course food was not a disappointment ! Yum

this is is not a place for a people of color, i have never seen a service of such magnitude of rudeness, i was in the front waiting to be given a sit with my son but this very discriminative waitress left me aside and she served these Latinos who were behind me. When i start complaining i was asked if i have a problem in a very aggressive manner. Terrible, terrible service. people of color do not go to this restaurant unless you want to willingly strip down your human dignity.

I have come every so often but it seems as if they have changed their chefs so much. Food tastes different lately. Also I will also agree with others but Im hispanic, the waitresses suck. Yes you need to learn to be nicer to people. Remember we are the customers and you are the ones waiting on us. I wasnt rude and I get cold shoulder etc. So I will not be going here any longer. Tables are dirty when you sit and just having rude waitresses make things much worse.

The food is delicious, but by far the worst service!!! Get ready to get your order messed up. I have kept giving this place several chances but not anymore. Today we picked up several orders for my co-workers and myself and my lunch was missing. They apologized but that doesnt make up for the fact that I didnt have my lunch. Their solution is to waste your time and go pick it up when its their mistake!
