Chipotle is probably my favorite place to eat in Charlotte because of my diet. The food is great and never gets old. Now this particular chipotle is the worst one in Charlotte. I cant even begin to explain my frustration. I live 2 minutes from here literally in an apt next to the building. I would rate this place below even one star, but I Dnt get that option. Basically the reason this place sucks is the customer service. Every other chipotle has a fast process to get you in and out as fast as possible. For this chipotle it is super busy all the time and the line is out the door. I get it if its busy but it just looks busy Bc of the bad process the manager has set the employees on. The reason the line is out the door is Bc from when you start at the beginning to choose what you want and move to the checkout at the end. Those ppl are completely ruining the process and slowing down everything. The girl that asks what you want has 3 steps to do. Bowl-rice-meat. Thats it, she sets it down and next person. Great thats her job, the person or persons after do the toppings since it takes much longer. Well this dumb ass manager is standing there seeing the line just pile as there is two ppl doing the rice and meats. Instead of the dumb ass employee thats not realizing she should be helping the toppings girl. All she was doing for the 30 minutes was sliding over the bowls. LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS. this one persons holding everyone up is ridiculous. There had to be a change made very soon bc this is a completely idiotic problem that can be fixed. 11/08/16 - This is my feedback from when I posted this review: I would like to say all of the issues I have mentioned have been resolved. I came back one time before this and it has been the same. Fast in and fast out. I just hope they keep it up. Whoever made this change, thank you. This is the kind of thing that this whole review/feedback thing should work. Thanks again.

This is the worse chipotle ever! Horrible customer service! First the girl who made my veggie borrito wasted meat sauce on my borrito from making someone elses while Im just standing waiting for the next person to help me finish my borrito (they were all standing around). Then the guy comes to do the rest and I ask him to make me another because I dont eat meat (god forbid had I been allergic). So he asked the girl to make another one... She does and barely puts any beans on there this time... I decided not to make a scenen about it even though I was pissed. Then the guy goes and wraps my borrito so that one side only has rice and beans and the toppings are all on the other side which I just discovered after getting home and taking a bite. So after he finishes Im still standing there at the register waiting as two other girls stand around the sink talking. Wtf!? Really is this how its done now chipotle... Shame how lazy unqualified and incompetent employees can really take a company down. Chipotle is my favorite restaurant to go to and had I gone to this one first Id never go back... Im tempted to drive the 20min back and hand them my half eaten borrito and demand a refund. Im disgusted!

My partner and I came in a little late tonight (9:50) but they were still open. They were out of all meats but once we asked if they would make more chicken, they agreed. We appreciate that the manager David and all of his employees including Montrell & Brandi agreed to stay and make the chicken for us. We drove all the way across town and wouldve been really upset if we wouldnt have gotten our Chipotle, so it meant a lot to us. Thanks guys!

Ordered online thinking it would be quick in and out. Went to go pick up the order that was to be ready by 8:15. Arrived at 8:15 and was told they had no white rice and it was waiting to be made so they hadnt made the order. Ten minutes later ask when its going to be ready and was told they hadnt even given the order to be made. Finally walking out at 8:45. Hangry at this point. Wont go back.

The service was fine, but the food was pretty disappointing. The steak tacos were more like fat tacos and contained several unchewable pieces. Really, I shouldnt be surprised when Im ordering food like I would at a Subway. Its unlikely that Ill go back since $10 can get me way better Mexican food in numerous places around Charlotte.

The rice bowls are delicious. I just wish I could occassionally get chicken that is not spicy (maybe a honey BBQ option). The guacamole is awesome! They are more often than not, a little stingy on the rice (you can order a side bowl of rice for $1). And the burrito bread is very chewy and diffifult to eat (order soft tacos instead).

Steve Ells needs to pay a little visit to this location. The staff was nice however the food was unpleasantly cold. They were running out of everything and short on staff. The line was well out the door. This location is close to the hospital so many hospital personnel here. Wont be back to this location.

This location opened around January 2012 and I have been there twice in two weeks. Each time the staff was professional and attentive. Im so glad they opened up a location so close to Uptown. However, I work Uptown near the Square and would love to see a Chipotle within a block or two of the Square!

Always loved the restaurant, the food was great today. I ordered the Barbacoa and the side of guacamole and chips. four stars because the food is not always really hot. Today the chips were a little stale. I tend to go to the Chipotle on South Boulevard if possible, the food is always hot.

I love this chipotle location. The only downside is the sometimes slow service and the fact that Ive been charged numerous times for guacamole. I dont like guacamole... Edit: The last few times Ive ordered something has been wrong with my order. Today Im missing viniagarette AND chips.

The staff here is terrible. Couldnt understand why the line wasnt moving (very unlike chipotle) and realized the cashier was flirting with a man who eventually got her number. Needless to say, the line started to move after that was over.

These folks forgot my guacamole with the chips, which is the only reason I came. The server questioned combinations or cheese and sour cream as well, and the burrito was short, fat, and not fully wrapped by far. Cashier was nice.

Great food and experience most of the time but for some reaason they almost NEVER have fajita vegetables. Like 1 out of 4 visits they actually have the veggies and onions. They need to just hire someone to make them all day.

Mexican food in Charlotte, for anyone who has been to Mexico, Colorado, New Mexico, California, or Texas, is awful. Chipotle is a chain that is an improvement over the local restaurants here as well of course Taco Bell.

This location doesnt manage its food prep well. 4 of the last 5 times I have been they have been out of veggies and one time chicken. Seems to be a reoccurring problem despite there being lots of people working.
