Indeed good food, but awful service... if their people is slow during the week, dont get your hopes so high that will be any different on the weekend. They have the staff to take care of the place, but if management is conform by the relatives of the owner with no common sense about customer service what you expect from the waitresses that any little chance they get they gather to chat.... I dont go that often because that.... one time we order tacos... 3 or 4 different waitresses taking care of the order and they brought the salsas after we already finished the food.... Another occasion waiting to be seated the manager just came back to me, that the only thing available was the bar i said no thanks Ill wait.... he sit a cople that came in after me and told me that he didnt have any seats. .... Instead of trying to bull sheet me with " as soonest something gets available " or something of that sort of thing. .... No, just a flat there is not more sits..... I left thinking Ill never come back, again just like other customers (theyve a good cook). Is why some people comes back... Tonight, ups i did it again.... They didnt have coke..... we choose sprite instead and it was carbonated water.... then offer something else... and 15 minutes later... sorry we ran out of that too.... The family next to us waited for a while and when finally the food arrive, guess what. ... yes was the wrong thing..... I ask for napkins. ... came back with 3... ok we were 3 people but 2 were minors..... Anyways.... hope that after finally waste my time with this rewiew, Ill remember not to come back... or somebody else avoid the hustle to eat at this place...

... probably the worst service Ive had in a while... the waitress was inattentive and distracted... I never got my drunk refilled once... nor did she come by the table once to ask if we needed anything... she wasnt too busy to flirt with the cook in the back as I observed them touching each other and soon after disappeared for about 20 minutes... we can only speculate what happened from there... which honestly I wouldnt even care about if I had good service... which I didnt... the food was okay... but definitely not remarkable enough to ever visit this disappointing and unsanitary establishment ever again... dine at your own risk... good luck... do not trust any review that gives this place over 3 stars...

Worse service EVER!!! Waiters said it will take 15 minutes, it took one hour and 10 minutes, told her we need to go, she said food is ready, I said, ok, we will pay and take it to go. Paid, 20 minutes passed and the food still wasnt ready!! Told another lady how long, she said 40 minutes, I said, WHAT? I asked for a refund because we really have to go, she said NO REFUNDS!!! OMG, couldnt believe why such of DOGS and bad service!! If they dont know how to track time, then let people know!!! I wouldnt recommend this restaurant AT ALL!!!!

I ordered some pork to go but I only got bones in a sauce. It was disgusting. I paid 12 dollars for bones. Yo no recomiendo este restaurante porque pedi cerdo en salsa para llevar y me dieron solo huesos en salsa. Horrible.

I was really impressed with this place. I loved the friendly service. Bathrooms were clean. The food was way better than we expected. I think this place is a little bit of a sleeper and you will be very happy you went there. We had more food than we could eat but the prices were very reasonable. There is a menu with meals for less than 10 dollars and each of the meals looked tasty. We will come back and highly recommend this for you also....

We came here to drink a pitcher of beer because its pretty cheap here. The only thing we ate were chips and salsa. The salsa was great but the chips were actually a bit lackluster. The appearance of the interior really makes you think of a native establishment in Mexico. The restaurant was closing at the time but the wait staff was very kind and respectful as we hurriedly drank our beers so they could go home.

Worst place ever, you can tell that they re-heated the chips and the drinks were to Sweet, also when we got the torta it was missing stuff like cheese tomato, and last thing of all the waiters were really rude and they can back to the table to ask if we needed anything else right when we all stude up to leave the nasty place. Dont recommend to go to this place

This is my number 1 favorite place to eat in Charlotte. They give you huge portions of food and their quality of food is superb and its so much cheaper than other places. The boss of this place is very humble and nice, you always see him working and cleaning tables. However they do need to get a bit more organized. Other than that I recommend everyone to go.

If i could give this a negative 10 i would!!! First of all the Road is horrible, parking is unorganized, we ordered a 7 mariscos and didnt get a shell opener didnt eat my crab, i didnt get my food till 45 min later, didnt ask if i needed anything, never got a refill in the 1hr nd 30 min i was there, had diffrent waiters. Will not be coming back!!!!!!!!

This restaurant is pretty new, about a year old. The food there is amazing. If you want real authentic Mexican food, come to this restaurant. The food is great and it has the real Mexican taste not like other restaurants around the area. The service was great as well. I recommend you check out this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We four guests have visited this restueant on Friday night & foods were so bad & cooked with old oil. I complained about my fish dish & the restaurant manager show up & he was saying this how it supposed to be Cooked & only offer replaced my dish or %50 off of my dish. All of us were burping & my brother vomiting.

Ive been here a few times, and the foods been delicious both. The service on my second trip wasnt as respectable as the first, however. As long as you approach this place from the perspective that its an *authentic* Mexican place, youll love it. If you go here expecting On The Border, youll be disappointed.

I dont think their food is fresh anymore, the sopes are chewy and their chicken milanesa tastes like a week old and then they say its "fresh". I mean you can tell when something is fresh or not. I used to like this place when it first open its doors to the public but now the quality of food has decline.

This is a cool little gem if you are looking for a place to relax and socialize with friends. The food was actually pretty good, but the bar could have used a little help and training - I would recommend ordering drinks that dont need to be mixed. Other than that everything was great!
