The place was recommended to us to try for dinner, but we found that it is not the most ideal place to eat (for us, at least). The waitresses were eating nachos, which is fine when you are out of view of the customers...but they werent. The nachos were out in the open at the bar and placed where the glasses go when you are about to fill them up with beer. They literally had to move their nachos to refill drink orders. I felt like this was a little too out in the open (and frankly not all that sanitary at all). They would eat the nachos, lick their fingers clean, and take drinks out to the customers. I didnt once see them wash their hands or use a wet cloth to wipe them down, nothing. The Parmesan Garlic wings were just regular wings with garlic and that famous green bottled Parmesan powder (Kraft brand) just thrown on top of it. Regular wings, no sauce, no nothing. Just powdered cheese laying at the bottom of my tray. I guess I am so used to the delicious sauce that Buffalo Wild Wings uses when they put that down in front of me I honestly lost my appetite and didnt feel comfortable eating it. I ate one wing and just sipped on my coke until the rest of us were done. The manager was both helping behind the bar and was wiping a table when we walked in which is great to see because when a manager is willing to help his employees, it honestly makes the business look better! ...But by mid-meal he was drinking shots with someone who was watching the game. So, there goes that.

Most 5 star reviews are by owner and people paid to do so. I walked in too rude customer service from the waitress. Ignored as a couple who came in before me was asked to be served before myself, Im dressed well at that. I wanted to try the wings which its $1 per wing, I got 5 Garlic Parmesan with a Black&Blu burger. I enjoyed the wings with ranch which covered up the taste of fish (this means they mix friers, gross stuff) the fries where short and portions are cheaped. the burger was okay besides the patty being small compared to the bread. Way small. I disliked my experiences totally considering the food is over price for the quality. 5wings $6, burger $10, Draft 16oz $4. I wish I would of saved the money and ate at Tin-Tin. I will not be stopping by here again.

Wings were very good, but it was honestly the 2nd worst service I have ever had in my life! The waitress was not polite, she did the bare minimum....which is take our order, bring our food, and our check after I had to stop her to get it and then give her 10 mins to come back with it. She didnt ask us how our food was, explain to us what the different flavors of wings were on our platter, or anything above the bare minimum. As I do understand being a waitress is a tough job...I tip very well to anyone who steps up to the plate and does more than the bare minimum! Just being nice goes a long way! As I will probably return for the wings, I will ask for a different waitress!

Been here 3 times( about to be a fourth tonight) and I havent found danker wings since working at a family owned restaurant 4 years ago. I have yet to be disappointed by the food or the staff. As soon as that happens Ill let them know, not come complain about it on a review like a lot of people seem to be doing. Although I wish the beer selection was better, and the joint was a little larger, I cant find anything that would warrant anything less than a 5 star review. Hell, I live on the other side of town from this place and get excited whenever I have a reason to be in the park road area just so I can get a chance to stop in and eat some wings.

Today around 5 PM me and and 4 friends ate at here. The food and service were good up until the end. Altogether, we left $10 cash as a tip but none via card. As we were leaving, the waitress felt to need to come outside of the restaurant under the assumption that we didnt leave a tip. After going back and forth for a moment she went back inside. I can understand the frustration if we didnt tip her, but this wasnt the case. I feel that this was really uncalled for as someone who has worked in food service for a long time. I dont know her name, just the time and day we attended.

Some of the best wings Ive had anywhere. They have traditional "saucy" wings as well as dry rubbed. The saucy wings are the way to go. The jalapeño poppers were also crispy and delicious. They also had a small selection of local beers. I believe the crowd that usually frequents there probably goes for the usual domestic beers instead of the local craft. All-in-all a great place to go if you want inexpensive yet very tasty wings, burgers, cheese steaks and wraps.

The last 3 times we ordered wings there they were so over-cooked they were like an old shoe. After 3 times they cant say it was a one time thing. Tried to get my money back and that was even a bigger joke than the wings. Whom ever calls these the best wings in CLT must of been eating school cafeteria food their whole life or works there. Dont waste your money [over-priced] or time and go someplace else.

Wings A++++ OMG we tried the honey teryaki, ginger, gold, lemon pepper, and hawiann. All were fab. The place itself ok. From what I seen they have a very limited selection of liquor and a small selection beer. Sanitation rating was an A at 90.0 and from what I seen it was clean. It almost looks like a bar with food. We also had the burger, quesadilla, chicken tenders, and fries. Everything was great.

I would not consider myself a Wing Expert but... this place has the best wings in town for several reasons. The size and quality of the wings are really good. If you normally order say a dozen, then you would be full off of 8 wings due to size. Also, there sauce selection is awesome. So many flavors and you can mix and match. It also has a really cool bar atmosphere and cool looking ceiling fans.

Bitter & consistently rude main-waitress whom we always had over-tipped finally forced us 4 minutes away, to Wild Wings, which has BETTER wings, an A+ STAFF and a much BETTER ENVIRONMENT ... highly recommend Wild Wings. DD’s is sliding south. Signed: Former long-time customers. Follow up: Neighbors went recently and noted same waitress with crummy attitude.

Best wings and thighs in town! We came here several times and we still love it. It might not be healthy, especially the broccoli cheese balls. The wing flavors are awesome, but the parmesan are the best! Friendly staff, good beer, nice people. No fancy atmosphere, but thats not what you are looking for when you eat with your hands.

If this is the best wing place in town then there is a problem. Service wasnt good. Orderd a tea when they brought out our appetizer got at the end of our meal. By then I was ready to leave. Only order one flavor of wings they all taste the same. We had ordered 5 different flavors and couldnt tell which one was which.
