I stumbled upon TLC Wings and Grill approximately 12 years ago when I first moved to Charlotte and the food was AMAZING!!!! The two guys who worked there initially were courteous and seemed to take pride in the food they cooked and served their customers. Then the man that is there now came up on the scene and the food, in my opinion, went down hill from there. He doesnt seem to care how the food is prepared. The food is sloppy and looks very unappealing. My usual order is bbq wings with jalepano poppers and onion rings. Initially i stopped going there after the two guys left and because the food the new guy cooked literally turned me off. So I figured "Hey maybe Ill give him another chance" and after about 2-3 years I went back in April, 16. And again I was disappointed to say the least. My chicken looked like it was thrown against the wall and then stomped on before it was cooked. The bbq sause looked liked it was just poured on instead of being cooked into the chicken and my onion rings and jalepano poppers were overcooked. Needless to say they have lost a loyal customer. I only wish the two guys that were there originally were still there or somewere else managing another wing franchise so I can get my food from them. Definitely not worth the money anymore.

UPDATE: After several weeks of continued business, the statements below acre still very true. The issue is this store does receive a lot of back to back walk-ins which apparently take priority to those on the phone that may be holding. There was another instance where I called, was placed on hold, the cashier took several walk-ins, someone else called in and then the cashier took their order too. Theres absolutely no organization here. Id like to say theres a staffing issue but theres not, sometimes there are more staff than customers dining in. The positive is they are able to prepare most orders in 10 to 20 minutes. Perhaps they should consider balancing quality with quantity. _______________________________________________________________________ Ive ordered from TLC several years ago and could not locate them until recently. I called to attempt to place an order to see if they delivered to my address but I kept being placed on hold and after 7 minutes of no answers I hung up. Upon calling back I received a busy signal. THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. This establishment should be able to adequately handle orders from customers. Theyve lost my money.

Atmosphere isnt everything, and in comparison to an establishment like Buffalo Wild Wings where Ive paid twice as much for wings that were nowhere near as fantastic as what I received from TLC Wings & Grill, this only reaffirms my opinion that TLC Wings are the absolute best in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Forget about ambiance. What TLC may lack in frills, it certainly delivers in amazing food. I finally had the opportunity last night to experience what my wife has been raving about for years. I had the Teriyaki & Georgia Reds, along with their fantastic pasta salad and fried pickle spears. Simply put, the food was all that and more! So for those that may be too quick to judge a book by its cover, youd certainly be very remiss in missing this jewel. I for one cant wait to go back again. TLC, you have a new customer for life. Keep up the fantastic food! Yum!!

Have to start by saying that I was a loyal customer for 6 years and their food was always consistent with quality and pricing. After moving back to south charlotte I was happy to have tlc again. Unfortunately I visted them yesterday for the first time being back and I was extremely disappointed. Their rating is now 88.0 and the restaurant looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years. Floors, tables, ketchup bottles, the walls looked like there was a food fight, were sticky. Even the baskets the food came oit in had dried up sauce on them! The mustard bottle at my table was actually black in spots due to the dirt from peoples hands on it. Bathroom doors actually had green dirt and grime on them! I had to get a refund and refused to eat after noticing the condition of the restaurant. Very sad, but I will not be eating there anymore.

I havent gotten the food yet, but when I made the call for delivery, the girl on the phone was not nice. She did not seem like she knew what she was doing and it sounded like I was on speaker phone because you can hear another girl in the background say "oh a delivery" in a tone that wasnt kind and I could hear my voice echo. My hotel has this place listed on a sheet with other restaurants around, so they must think its good enough to get. I, on the other hand, base this review alone on their customer service. She asked for a lot of card info that most places dont. I find her very suspicious and I will be monitoring my account after this. Probably not ordering again. Maybe Ill check it out in person next time Im in town if the foods good, but I wont call in an order through them again.

The BEST chicken wings in Charlotte. My husband kept raving about this place, but for some reason it just wouldnt work with us coming to this location, until today. It was 840, so we were late and I didnt know what I wanted to eat. It took about 5 minutes till I decided what I wanted. Customer service was AMAZING and patient. They understood that I had no idea what I wanted and were very VERY patient with me. The bathrooms were clean. The place looked like it had been moped, so everything looked super clean; and you know what they say about first impressions!!! The food was phenomenal!! Everything was great!! We got the chicken wings and the shrimp. Havent had shrimp that good in ages!! The chicken was perfect!! Definitely taking my husbands word, NEXT TIME!! Thank you TLC!

The Manager an workers in this establishment are very rude. Granted there wings are great but there customer service is absolutely the worst. I have been a loyal customer after today I will never spend another dime in their place of business. I tried to place a order for delivery an was give a rediculous price for delivery when I expressed it was to much the clerk didnt even give me the opportunity to say I will pick it up he rudely hung up on me an when I called back they would not answer my call. I used another phone to call an they picked up right away. I spoke with the manager who blew me off for expressing how I was treated. I was going to spend my money Im not begging these people for anything Rude an nasty people!!!!!!!!!!

Today was such an horrible experience with this restaurant. I called an place an order for delivery. When I received my order I realized that the half pepperoni half cheese pizza was actually just chesse. I called and spoke with Adam the manager who informed me that the pepperoni was under the cheese on my pizza after throughly going over the pizza I called back and spoke with Megan who informed me Adam was gone for the day and its nothing that can be done about my order until tomorrow. This is horrible customer service for any paying customer. This was my first and last time doing business with them. Its back to the rusty onion for me.
