Nice ambiance, but THE FOOD WAS TAINTED. When I left the restaurant, I was a bit disappointed. The ambiance is nice and inviting. The menu is interesting, burgers are okay, and the different types of fries are really terrific. The service was non-existent and there were long stretches where no one was checking on the room. I asked for water when someone finally came around, having been waiting more than 5 minutes since I had drained my cup. It was another 8 minutes before a different waiter came around with a water pitcher, but directed himself to a different table. No one was rude-- just absent and/or absent-minded. I am leaving this review as a warning to others, since I have spent the entire next day sorting out a food poisoning problem. My date had a WBC (their version of Big Mac) with steak fries. I had a Southwest turkey burger with truffle fries. I assumed that my problem was salmonella, figuring maybe the turkey burger was undercooked, not just moist from the sauce. I just spoke to my date, and he has been dealing with food poisoning as well, although he ate a beef burger. Where is the problem? The food handling? The sauce? Both the turkey and the beef? How did we both get the same problem? Thats for them to figure out. As for us, we will not be returning.

Sadly, I have to agree with Samantha. When I first got there, the ambiance and amount of room does not compare with the Rye Brook location. Once I got past that, I found the service was lacking as well. Getting the waiters attention to return an incorrect order seemed to take an eternity. The ability to place additional drink orders was next to impossible. Then I got the meal that I DID order so quickly, I wondered if it had been hastily put together. It WAS. I admit, I COULD have returned the correct meal for additional cooking, but since my wife was almost done with her meal, I chose not to....AND I ASSUMED THE CHEF KNEW HOW LONG TO COOK A BURGER FOR SAFE CONSUMPTION. It turns out that like Samantha, I too, had "internal issues", so Ive not gone back to this location as a result. Unfortunately, the White Plains location gives the brand a bad name. The Rye Brook location is so GREAT, you have to wonder if youre visiting a different restaurant chain entirely. Ill keep visiting Rye Brook, and my hope is that the owners will look to either remove the current White Plains management, or close the location permanently.

I cannot speak about the food because after a hour and fifteen minutes (yes 1:15!) we left because our burgers were not ready yet. We pointed out the problem to the bartender who realized that we were waiting for food at that really moment! (There were 4 people at the bar, so you can imagine how stressed and confused the guy could be not to realize that half of his clients are not getting their orders!).After reading all the reviews this place had I was tempted to take a look. First thing you notice is that the neighborhood at night is desolated, and does not give your great expectation about the place. We entered and he looked like an old dark diner, but you say to yourself I AM HERE ONLY FOR THEIR BURGERS. I seat at the bar, and the surface was wonderfully sticky, so you can imagine my amusement. A bartender more interested in talking to his friends, than taking orders and serve. The place did not look great and as far as I can tell hygiene is not one of their priority. Probably their food is that great, but as far as I am concern I would never take the chance to experiment this pain again.

Youve had Asian Fission burgers, New York Grindhouse burgers, 5-anything burgers, and haute cuisine burgers. Youve trekked to Manhattan to try secret burger joints hidden in illustrious hotels. And by now, youre tired of the same old delicious burgers and are willing to branch out to something new. You, my friend, want: a mediocre, overpriced burger, with cold fries on the side. Look no further than the Westchester Burger Company! Housed in the accursed building that brought you Japanese MSG Explosion, inconveniently located on the too-busy Westchester Avenue, the Westchester Burger Company is guaranteed to disappoint. Try their signature burger, the so-called "Westchester Burger Company Burger". Its a glorified Big Mac. But cold. Two stars, simply because I didnt get violently ill after eating there. For a better burger, get the Bleu Cheese burger at Hudson Grille, or the Porterhouse burger at Porterhouse: both conveniently on Mamaroneck Avenue. Avoid this place: the food is overpriced, and cold.

on the quieter side of White Plains, on a not so bustling street, you will find this location across the street from the Westchester Mall. Having taken the place of a bar that was in that spot for years, the interior is much nicer than its original owners. The location is roomy and theyve moved the bar against the wall. The presentation and preparation of the meals is very appealing to the eyes, but I feel as if our food could have been heated a little longer, but whatever. The staff seem to like to congregate in front of the bar to talk amongst themselves. Would he nice if they did rounds other than having to rely on a bus boy to get a drink refill. It seems like a nice place to bring large crowds as long as you make reservations in advance.

Always a nice change of environment from our usually eateries, but its a once in awhile type place. Menu looks amazing but food is average. I got the bbq flatbread pizza with cabbage and fried onions on top and it wasnt the greatest. The taste was okay but my flatbread was soggy (due to the coleslaw liquid maybe?) and you could also tell the bread was definitely not made there, it wouldve been more authentic if theyd actually made their flatbread. Pulled pork was good. We got the appetizer with tomato, fried mozzarella and drizzled balsamic. That was delicious except for the old brown frizzy lettuce on top. Our drinks were never refilled. Music was great, loved the oldies.

If you like building your own massive burgers, youll be happy with the choices here. They also have a good selection of predesigned burgers for those who want an easy go-to. The bar features typical beers on tap and some interesting bottled imports. The desert options are okay, but the Oreo pie is my favorite (though very heavy). The atmosphere varies depending on time and day. Weekend nights can get crowed and loud, but weekday lunch is pleasant and family friendly.

Definitely my favorite burger place. I always get the same thing: BALBOA (MAN UP) 10 oz. double Swiss cheese melted over crispy bacon and frizzled onions served on a garlic toasted brioche – $14.95. Delicious. Only nit is I wish the bun were a little more "substantial." By the time Im halfway done, the bottom half of the bun has all but melt away from the juice from the burger. Parking is easy. Service has always been very good.

The food and service is good. But a horrible place to look into for employment. I have had to travel more than 20 miles three consecutive weeks for a follow up that never took place. Giving it the benefit of the doubt after the first time I continued to be stood up by the owner after having a set time and date for the appointment. Never once has an apology been given or even an email to reschedule. Not professional in the slightest.
