Clean and good appearance. Having only been here twice within weeks of each other (returned from my deployment and it was a new joint in Dover; grew up eating Panda Express.) I decided write this review. This review is based off of the plate which is two entrees and one side. Pro: Clean establishment and Fast Con: Both times the end product was inconsistent. Rice was dry and flavorless the first time, and the next it was half mushy and undercooked with a weird flavor. For the first entree, I always get the orange chicken, which is the signature name dish for Panda Express, for the first visit was standard and taste like any other location you would visit. However on the second visit, it did not have that distinct flavor and barely had the sauce drenching from it. For the second entree during each visit I tried something new that I had never tried, and it was good. Based on first hand experience with the flavor. I drank sweet tea both times - yet again inconsistent. Visit one was regular sweet tea, and on visit two it transformed into some floral flavor with a waxy feel left in my mouth. (I dumped the tea before leaving and refilled with Dr. Pepper - to be disappointed.. Ill probably say the CO2 was not working as it was flat) Bottom line, fast & clean place - but not consistent as you would expect a chain to be. I have worked in a restaurant for three years (small chain, Jeffersons) and ate at the other stores and it was consistent as my home store.

Panda Express used to be very common and pretty much in every mall food court. Im not sure what happened some 15-20 years ago but one by one, they all disappeared and I lost touch with the chain. So I was surprised to see one right along US-13 in Dover! This Panda Express is in a small strip mall on US-13 northbound. The tricky part is entering this strip mall at the correct opening. It looks like if you miss the entrance, there isnt a back way in from neighboring Dover Mall and youll have to a bunch of cumbersome U-turns to return to the correct entrance. Lets get this out of the way first: Although this Panda Express has all the appearance of a fast casual restaurant, you arent actually getting food that is any better in quality than a typical Chinese food vendor in a mall food court. There seem to be more choices and you can order sides and a Coke Freestyle drink, but theyre basically dishing out your choices from steam trays and its pretty much at that Chinese fast food level. Where I was impressed was their service. This restaurant is brand-new and unlike many older restaurants, the staff are super-helpful and take initiative to find out if you need anything. Also, all the dining area furniture is new and the restroom is very clean. Id say enjoy this restaurant while its still shiny and new.

Very disappointing. Very limited menu, mainly chicken. Only one shrimp entree, for an extra charge. No vegetarian entrées. Having finally decided on something to eat, we stood, with one other customer (an active member of the military), at the ordering station for 20 minutes and were never waIted on. The staff seemed to be busy talking with each other and filling take out trays while ignoring the actual customers in the restaurant. With such limited selection and such poor service I doubt well be back to this, or any other Panda Express

Food good when they have it and fresh seems like never have what yiu want ready never have sauces when ask for sauce instead of putting on rice they wanna give yiu a small cup and put it on your food. That not healthy when asked for it from start told me dont have sweet sour sauce . They are not organized at all and no one seems to know want they doing manager not seem like she even cared

Stop there Saturday for dinner and was very disappointed, noddles were not cooked and very dry, the only thing good was the honey sesame chicken even the cream cheese Rangoon was not great, egg rolls also did not look very appealing. 1st time and last time there.

The staff here are the rudest Ive ever experienced. Been here over 10 times and they havent improved what so ever. Makes me never want to eat here, but its the only one for miles so Im forced too deal with the staffs horrible attitudes and eye rolls.

Went today! 3/18/17 no reciept cold food I got chicken teriyaki no sauce at all. I called they said I can get a free meal thats great but why? Your food is awful theres no care in it or effort put into making it any more. Done with you guys.

The food was ok not great. The restaurant was clean and looked well maintained. The staff was clean, professional looking but spoke so softly that no one couldhear them...no one in my party and no one in the next party.

Lo mein was like cardboard and no flavor. The Orange chicken had a weird indescribable taste. Beef and broccoli was straight mush. I will never eat here again; not, recommend to anyone. Zero stars if I could.

My family & I just had the most pleasant drive thru experience. The lady who attended to us was very courteous and welcoming. Our food was amazing & noticeably fresh. Very happy frequent visitors once again!

The last two times Ive been here was 1115ish... they open at 11 but little to nothing is redy to eat. The food tastes ok, but the service is a struggle. Nothing express about this panda.

Service was extremely fast. By the time she was giving me my receipt she was also giving me my order. This was 5 minutes after they opened and I ordered through the drive thru.

Went there at 935 pm and they had already locked doors, I can understand if I showed up 5 mins before closing but 25 mins...they saw me and just watched then continued on...

Love their healthy options. Half mixed veggies, half brown rice with broccoli and beef and mushroom chicken is my favorite for under 600 calories. Super friendly staff.

They only offer about half of the food listed on the Panda Express website. Im a vegetarian and I had to eat white rice with a vegetable side that wasnt anything great.

Broccoli wasnt cooked and the rice was dry and undercooked. Portions were very small for the price. I can get twice as much at a real chinese takeout

American Chinese "fast food". Love the Walnut shrimp when it is fresh from the wok. Too bad the service is always so poor.
