I had a very disappointing experience at Mooneys tonight. I was part of a large group that got together to share a meal. We had heard a lot of good things about Mooneys and decided to make the restaurant the location of our monthly get together. This was our first time meeting there and Im pretty confident that I can speak for everyone thatll it probably be our last. While most of us were happy with the food (the mac and cheese is delicious and the portions are very, very generous ) and the manager, when we were finally able to talk to her, was kind and patient but everything else about the experience was upsetting. The biggest complaint was the attitude of our wattress. She was extremely rude at times and flat out ignored a few of us in the group because of some sort of negative bias towards them. Others she was friendly and attentive. I will be the first to admit that we part of the difficulties in our experience were our own fault. We didnt reserve for enough people but she was very inflexible to our increased need as more people showed up. While we understand her position her attitude towards us was unwarranted. The hostility I and several others felt from her was bothersome. Most of the food was great but a few of the orders came out cold and another was came out wrong even though instructions regarding dietary issues were made clear and again the waitress responded with hostility at the repeated request to have the error corrected. The last straw was the disaster that happened when the bill came. Since there are several of us we required to have the bill split up several ways. The waitress was unclear in her instructions about her limitations in splitting checks while ordering and did little to help us work out the issue. This whole situation upset several of us, brought a few to tears/anxiety. This waitress was terrible one of the worst Ive ever had and she basically ruined our evening out. Were also not happy that our bill included an auto gratuity because we felt she didnt deserve it. I might give Mooneys another try but it most likely will not be this specific location. Lastly I just want to point out Im not complaining about the restaurant policies but the attitude we encountered and how everything was handled. We made a mistake but thats not an excuse to be rude to us and we would have appreciated some understanding and to be treated with consideration.

Our waitress was rude to us the entire time we were there. Then, at the end of dinner, as we were paying, she confronted us and asked why only two of us had tipped her and swore at us. The rest of us had planned to tip her in cash and we attempted to tell her this but she refused to accept the answer OR a tip. We were then uncomfortable and left and definitely did not want to give her a tip after that confrontational and honestly inexcusable behavior. I am not going back, I dont care how good the mac n cheese is.

With the exception that they need to remove the moneys decal where they moved from the good was great generous portions for a reasonable price plan on making this a once or twice a month for food we ordered loaded fries barvarian pretzels....stinger,blt and lobster mac and cheese all very tasty

Only thing I have had off the menu is several varieties of Mac n Cheese and i would love to try some other things. I would have tried some other dishes but the macaroni and cheese is irresistible and the portions a huge. Definitely a great place to stop after a night of partying

Food is always delicious. But bartender and other girl serving were extremely rude and complained the whole time. Will be going to military location from now on. Your gonna yell at people for smoking outside. Its a bar. What do you expect

Though they failed to seat us (party of 12) in a timely manner, due to a reservation mistake, Mooneys and the friendly staff came through when it counted! Great food, as always, and attentive staff made for a great evening.
