This was really disappointing. First off, there was one poor waitress working the whole place by herself. Secondly, they were out of all the beers we tried to order so we finally just asked the waitress to bring us whatever she thought was good. We got the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer ($7). It was a tiny custard ramkin full of straight up spinach with some cheese on top. There were no artichokes and there wasnt enough for three people. For dinner I got the lobster bisque($12). It was so rich that it was sickening, and there was hardly anything in it. Everyone else got a meat dish which were ok at best. All the potatoes and vegetable sides were straight out of a box and the rolls were disgusting. Definitely not worth the price for pre-packaged food. On the way out I saw the kitchen which is open, and the chef was pulling food out of dirty baggies and dumping it on plates. Gross! Will never go there again.

I have a great experience on each visit. The owner/bartender is amiable, the beer selection is expansive, and drinks are reasonably priced. This is one of the last watering holes downtown (as of 2015) where a working person can enjoy a nice atmosphere and afford a beer or two without emptying out their pockets. I cant speak for the food but the menu alone makes my mouth water and I look forward to trying it on the right day.
