Was busy when we came in but it was 6 on a Saturday night. The wait was less than 10 minutes and we had a seat at the bar. The food was absolutely excellent! We got the blue and gold smoked wings which were unbelievably juicy and tasted awesome! The whiskey selection was vast and the cost was low. I ordered a relatively top end bourbon neat and it was 6.50! That is unheard of and definitely Ill be back just for that. The crowd was upbeat the music was appropriately volume, and the TVs were jamming sports. They offer plenty of healthy and gluten-free items in the menu and the costs are average for the Rochester area. Lower in some cases. The downside to the restaurant is the area has minimal parking. However 5 minute walk from there has more than ample parking spaces and lots. You will not be disappointed with whiskey river! Give them a chance. Enjoy the food and flair, and bring buisness back to this area of the city!

Quick, Tentative, and Professional staff. Amazing dinner specials for that perfect meal. Smoked chicken wings that fly ahead of the other local bars. Great draft, wine, beer, slushes and exceptional whiskey selection. And its all located on a hidden one way street with a nice old bar feel. Thanks everyone at Whiskey River always a good time!

Food was excellent, great selection of drinks, staff was prompt and knowledgeable. Place was very clean and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Seating area outside featured a fire pit, outdoor bar, and two regulation-size bocce ball courts. Overall a great place, looking forward to our next visit.

Really disappointed in our first visit. We had reservation at 6 and dont get our food until 7:45. Waitress was nice an apologetic, but didnt make up for how long we had to wait! Wings were great. Sandwiches were okay but dry. Not sure we would go back.

I figured knowing what the place looked like in its last incarnation that id find a dump Hell no! tasefully decorated, great food and friendly staff! the guy that did garage door, magnolias and big bopers is behind this, so you know its good!~

Went with a group of out of town family members. 1st time there for food other than bar food. Dinners were all good except some of the steaks were over cooked. Service was a little slow. I would try it again with a smaller group.

Great ambience, landing somewhere between a sports bar and fine dining... Comfortable yet classy. Delicious pub fair with some great "house recipe" options. Good beer selection. Will return.

We waited for 15 minutes had to go to the bar to get our drinks. Finally after 20 minutes someone came over to our table. Too late we didnt even finish our drinks not going back .

The food is great and the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. You cant beat the prices! Lots of parking on the side streets. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
