4 of us, all adults went to the Panera bread a this location for lunch, we arrived exactly at 4:30, I order coffee along with a bunch of sandwiches and soups, $35.00 worth of food. There was a big sign near the coffee station that said Panera Bread always serves fresh coffee. At 4:30 the handwritten note on coffee brewers indicated 4pm. I asked the manager when do they change the coffee, since I wanted fresh coffee, he said "at 5pm", I waited until 5, I figure I have my lunch and then take a cup of fresh coffee. By the time we were leaving it was already 5:05 and the coffee wasnt changed. I asked the "lady", named Lyndsay, if she was going to change the regular coffee, she said "NO" I said the manager told me itll changed at five, this coffee is been sitting for an hour, it is no longer fresh!! she said "oh well, then Ill change it" I went to put the kids and friends in the car and came back for my coffee, about 10 minutes later, and.. surprise!! no new coffee. Again I spoke to the manager, before the manager answered Lyndsay said "I JUST TURN IT ON, IT WONT BE READY FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 10 MINUTES" The manager embarrased said please wait a couple of minutes. While I was waiting, Miss Lyndsay started a monolog making comments like "and shes there waiting and wont move" etc. After about 10 minutes, by now 5:30pm Lyndsay handed me a cup of extremely bitter coffee from the back. I have to say... Ill never return to this Panera Bread, and truly I dont think Ill walk into any other Panera Bread in my life unless its my only choice. What a bitter experience!!

I am sitting in this Panera bread as I write this. There is a gal wearing a name tag with Florence scrawled across it. She was the first person I saw walking in. I smiled and said good morning. She scowled at me. I have watched her walking around and she has night changed her expression. Now I know people have things in their world we have no idea about. Maybe shes having a really rotten morning or something terrible has happened in her life. I dont know. What I do know is customer service and how very little effort it takes to simply smile and say good morning to someone who is about to dine in the place you have chosen to work. It can even help make your day better to try smiling when someone smiles at you. Beyond Florence, the cashier was fine. Couldnt see her name tag. The gal who put my sandwich together threw my plate on the counter, shouted something unintelligible and walked away. I assumed the plate was mine since I was the only person who seemed to be waiting for food. I have been to many Panera Breads and theyre always full and buzzing with customers. I think this ones reputation has gotten out. If people in the higher ups of Panera care about how well their sites do, they should probably take a look at this one. The nicest person here was the guy filling the coffee, he actually smiled at me.

5/12/16 My husband and I have been patronizing this business since its grand opening. It was packed, couldnt get a seat, I can see why it is failing, last 12 months investigation, new hands attempt to incite return customers, the blacks seem to only want black patrons because as I speak my articulate order, these black cashiers act like they dont hear you and charge for items you dont ask for and get irate if you dont accept their ignorance. Easter, would not comply with my request, tonight, thought it was funny to hand me a plastic cup for my Hot coffee, anyone think this is comedy yet ? Her manager purposely contradicts me about my request. My husband with discontent wants to speak to the manager, The women who declares she is the manager like others who declare the same authority starts shouting, making statements about calling police because my husband is requesting her bosses number. Well let me tell you this, I am respected at any DUNKIN DONUTS SWEETHEART and not one person there hands me a clear plastic cup for extremely HOT COFFEE that would soften the plastic so I burn my hand, why would you negligently offer me this ? Id sue you and your franchise owners and corporate.

Staff employees do not pride themselves on service excellence and pride. We wholeheartedly agree with David Moores review. Filthy plate return stations with trash receptacle in close proximity of eating utensils. How can you people ignore this ? Starbucks just won me over. Dont request the managers bosses phone number, she becomes irate, creates a scene, slams doors, counters and aggressively shoves open kitchen doir near soda machine in rear, ignores your complaint standing perpindicular to you, aha, aha, aha, aha,..... get it ? Call the district manager, she ( store manager black ) maligns you to protect herself, district manager will now threaten to arrest you for asserting his number im told. Choose to buy here daily, you will witness day to day activities. You lost my business. How many to date ? 500 and counting ??? Good Luck with your schizophrenic emotionall disturbed employees Just aquired this, Greenburgh Police have been summoned to this location numerous times for disorderly conduct issues.

This is my go-to Paneras (the one on N. Broadway in White Plains may be equally good but parking is a nightmare). I cannot understand why other reviewers panned it as Ive had positive experiences there every time. The sales help were smiling and pleasant, my order arrived in a timely manner (sometimes, when it was really crowded, it was slower but hey) and when something wasnt served the way I liked it, e.g., the soup couldve been hotter, there werent enough croutons in the salad, etc., I spoke to the manager and he took care of it, bringing it to my table himself. For a national chain, you get very good value for the money and the menu and quality is consistent no matter what state youre in. Plus their cinnamon coffee cake is THE best, bar none, as is their Hazelnut coffee. P.S. I just read the review below mine by Bill Georges. All I can say is, Ive been to Panera hundreds of times over the years and have NEVER been surrounded by flies or any other bug.

Too all managers of all businesses, the best way to put yourself out of business is to promote an emotionally disturbed employee to a managerial position. And employ sociopaths Hey Jean keep stating youll call police on a customer that demands your number, this store will be out of business in a year. I come to this store for coffee, no problem, I bring my wife m colon and they Jereia pretend they dont understand her articulate request for one hot coffee. Thanks for DISRESPECTING MY WIFE. The black female manager would sometimes walk to my table and ask How I am, the other day she acted like a mental patient amongst all the peaceful patrons over a respectable request for her managers number disrespecting all the peaceful occupants. I surely will not patronize another Panera Bread store ever again. We did trade our panera stocks yesterday.

Red Flag Rating Employees are suffering from insanity at this location. Staff not hastey to clean tables nor aquired crumbs under tables of entire store,crumbs everywhere, tables, seats, floor. Staff not obsessed with a sanitary organized food preparation area. Bathroom sink unsanitary, urinals reek the smell of urine. Pastries appear to be created and forned by toddlers. I will not come back to this store again, As I sit with family, i see an unhappy customer respectfully ask for a manager, and they ignore him, then Im disturbed by a shout about being pregnant omg, is this real, then slam a door what is going on ? Manager seems to get billigerent over being asked for her bosses number . Managers that publically lose their temper is a mental security issue. Not again. Keep out of this one people, im serious. Mental security issues.
