I hosted my daughters bridal shower 2 hours from where I live and chose Chester Heights Pastry from online reviews to make her cake. The staff member that assisted me on the phone was so sweet and helpful and her suggestions were perfect. Not only was the cake so beautiful it was out of this world delicious. We had the strawberry shortcake with the rose decorations. Everyone was raving about it. The only negative was that there was so little left over, because everyone gobbled it up and I am so craving another piece. I may just have to take a two hour ride.:)

We confirmed our order the week before our wedding and had paid in full. On the night of our wedding, during the reception we were told that our cake had not arrived. The reception site scrambled and found us a cake at another bakery. In the end Chester Heights acknowledged their mistake, called to apologize, and refunded our money. Yet, we still had to pay for the replacement cake on the night of our wedding and ended up with a cake that was not ours.

this bakery makes pretty cakes that taste reasonably good but they are really too pricey to justify me going back again. we ordered a disney princess castle cake for my daughters 6th birthday. while it was pretty overall and had a decent taste, the >$130 price tag could not be justified. there was some shotty decorating that made it obvious that short cuts were taken and the taste was nothing special.

Every single time I get a cake or pastries they are fresh and delicious, every single person licks their fingers! Worth the money hands down! You get what you pay for! Will never get a cake or pastries anywhere but from Chester Heights Bakery!
