I was working in this area and there is very little choice in restaurants. I ate both breakfasts and dinners here several days per week for a month. Most dinner portions are large, my cousin and I ate here one night and ordered two open face turkey sandwiches, they were large enough that we could have split the order. Everything tasted good and the meal came with an assortment of tasty side dishes. More often, I ate breakfast here. The house omelet was tasty and came with good home fried potatoes. I have been to better diners, but I have been to a lot worse. This is a family-run establishment, Greek family. Always a family member at the cashier. The rest rooms were spotless and very clean.

This is a very nice, comfortable diner with good food and good service. The nightly dinner special is a real bargain at $14.95 (includes soup or salad, choice of 5 main dishes with two sides, dessert, and beverage). Breakfasts are really good too. Good homemade Manhattan clam chowder, hard to find these days. Large portions. Always enjoyable and hard to beat for casual local dining.

Maybe Im being a homer having grown up in Rocky Point but after moving away for five years and coming back for a visit I can say the food is just as wonderful as I remember. The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend the Rocky Point diner to locals who havent been here or travelers from near and far.

Came in at around 1130 and was told they were closing. Google advertises as open until 1AM. When I asked what time they were open the woman at the door said now. Very unaccomodating. Ive been turned away at closing time in a far more polite fashion in the past. Dont expect to eat here late as they apparently close when they feel like it.

New owner making this place look really great. This diner was so very neglected and run down. Food is very good and the staff are very pleasant. Service is great, they are very friendly and quick. Will spread to word about the new Zonas Out East Diner who took over the old Rocky Point Diner.

The food was always passable and affordable. Lately over the past few months, they seem to forget something everytime I pick up my food. Not only that, they added salt to the instant mash...and the chicken noodle soup was a very sad amount of noodles with a huge cup of broth..

When my husband was a kid he went there with his dad, he took me there 4 years ago. GREAT PEOPLE , GREAT FOOD!!!! Still go there and order out or sometimes eat in. Never disappointed, love their meatloaf and gravy... Thank you guys...

I go to all the diners in the neighborhood and the rocky point is not the best and it is not the worst place around. The price are reasonable. The place could be cleaned up a bit but over all it is an average diner.

The food is good the eggs were made as I ordered them. The potatoes were well done as I ordered them. The only reason I didnt give it a five is because their milk is no where near cold enough.
