Ill start off by listing the positives: 1) The food is pretty good. Now that thats out of the way, heres why I find myself forced to 1 star this place: 1) The prices are a bit absurd for the portion size and quality. Sure its good, but not 30% more than everyone else in the area good. 2) No matter how good the food is, good luck getting served here if youre not white. Ive been standing on line and had people served behind me continuously for upwards of 20 minutes. When I ask to be served, they rudely tell me to wait my turn and keep helping others, including people whove just walked in the door. If someone who hasnt called ahead and walks in after me gets served before I do, when exactly is it my turn to be served? And good luck trying to even pick up an order youve called ahead. Thats a whole other nightmare, assuming they even have your order ready when they said they would. I just cant recommend this place at all, unless youve got a low melanin content. Its too bad, because if they adjusted the prices a bit and dropped the racism, this would be a pretty nice place.

I catered a party. The food was good, expensive but good. Lots of rules on delivery... Too many. I was extremely disappointed by the owner. I grew up in this town supporting them over the years since they opened. Over $500.00 for 3 full trays and 1/2 salad yet when I requested that the Chicken Parm be split in two trays (like they do in the in Merrick location) the "owner" said that I would have to pay an additional $21.00 by paying for (2) half trays?? Why not just charge a few dollars extra for the pan? I should have just paid the extra as all the left over chicken was a blob of a mess! I threw it out. It was a matter of principle. They sent two full trays of bread and one tray of garlic knots. Way too much bread. I wouldve appreciated it more if they left out that and split the chicken as I requested instead and honored my request. It would have been a much more positive experience. Good owners go out of their way for loyal customers, he never even spoke to me.

This was an amazing restaurant. I requested a highly customized sandwich, and the waitres said she is unsure if she can do it during the dinner rush. But sure enough there was my hero. Not only was it there, but perfectly made, perfectly cooked juicy chicken cutlet, a spicy pesto, calamata olives atop melted fresh Motz, with a cool tomato layered ontop. The bread was crispy and soft in all the right places. I write this review 42.5 miles away (i googled it) sitting in another lame crusty pizzeria reminiscing the time I ate a perfect hero. So until we meet again LaPiazza, until we meet again....

There is no issue with the food. But it doesnt matter how good something tastes if the service and experience are horrible. And the service at La Piazza is BEYOND HORRIBLE!!!! To-go orders are never correct, and management could care less if you came back. Being told to take your business elsewhere shows how little this establishment cares for their customers. They see dollar signs walk through the door, not patrons. Amd I am happy to no longer consider myself a patron. If you are looking for good food and great service in the Plainview area, definitely avoid this place.

There food is good but they screw our order every single time we order. We tell them the order was wrong and nothing changes. We ask the women to repeat the order back to us, she repeats it right and then we are sent the wrong order. Always missing toppings in the salad, wrong dressing wrong meal etc.. We have ordered 10+ times to our office and they have NEVER gotten it right. We call to complain and nothing is done. we wont be ordering from them anymore.

Awful. The service and hospitality is awful. The food is mediocre at best and way over priced. They pizza is good, but the portions have gotten so tiny. 1 regular slice is almost like a 1/2 a slice at any other pizza place. Ive been a costumer for over 15 years and its sad to say it gone way down hill. Im done going back there and over paying for crap. Oh and their wine list is garbage, they really dont offer drinkable wine.

Food is ok.. However it was horrible today when they screwed up my order again after me taking the trip. When I called and requested that they should send me the right order to my office, they kep me on hold then transferred me to another person who after chatting again ended up transferring me to a 3rd person named Tony who had the worst ever attitude that I had to hang up. So today, no lunch for me although I paid them for it.

My coworkers and I purposely ordered lunch at 10:30AM and scheduled it for a 12PM delivery and as I am writing this at 12:37PM to be exact, my food still isnt here!! When I called and spoke to someone (I believe her name is Maria) she was rude and had me waiting on hold for about 10 mins while she was "trying to reach the driver", so I hung up. If I wasnt so hungry I wouldve called back and cancelled my order. Unacceptable!

The restaurant was nice and clean, but as someone who is a vegan, I wish there were more vegetable options. The only options I had were side orders of spinach or broccoli. They have the typical Italian Restaurant items on the menu, such as pizza, pasta, garlic bread, etc. The service was okay, so I dont really have any other complaints, but there wasnt anything special going on.

Let me start by saying the food is good but the service is horrendous! I am currently walking out for the last time because they refuse to add lettuce to my panini..I am not joking and even after speaking with managment I was told he does not allow ingredients to be added to his sandwiches! Lol do not eat here

Very cozy local Italian restaurant. Food is very tasty and fresh. Hot variety of breads on the table. Fast and courteous service. Clean restrooms. Family friendly atmosphere. If you opt for just pizza, the locals consider it one of the best. Slightly pricier than than the other local places.

Pizza is one of the best, and the food is very good. Service is sometimes rude and argumentative however, might be better with take out! waitress actually brought me the wrong food and instead of apologizing argued with me that the wrong thing is what I ordered!!

The pizza is good, service is consistently good. They have both table service and self serve. It is always busy, but I have never had to wait too long to be served. Great place to go with friends or co workers.

The penne with fresh mozz and basil..really good. The Margarita pizza amazing. Their pizza and paninis are to die for! Recommendation..grilled chicken with fresh mozz and broccoli rabe..the best!

We met some friends from out of town for dinner. They were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. Finally, when the check came, the total cost was quite reasonable.
