Had to try this place with all the high recommendations. Nice bar and the place seemed very lively. Food was very good ( broiled snapper) but the service was another story. One ordered item (bacaro brushetta) never arrived. If you are there with another couple and enjoying the nice atmosphere, there is nothing worse than feeling you are being rushed along with your meal. Plates removed from the table before everyone is finished is a sure sign that you are being pushed along. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt as Saturday night is a heavy volume night. Im willing to give this place another shot.

Went to eat with a few friends. Nice crowd, Ive heard reservations are recommended, but we got lucky probably because it was a Tuesday night. Friendly staff. Grateful owner who made a point of asking how everything was and said goodnight; always nice to know your business is appreciated. Oh, and the food is first rate! I had the lobster/steak burger and it was fantastic. No one in our group was disappointed: only happy faces and sated appetites. Welcome to the downtown Village scene! Thanks!!

Have been here multiple times to great food and great service. However came here extremely excited for a family meal on a Friday night only to be greeted at the door by a 5 person rock band with hippie shirts. The band was not very good and the music was way too loud. We had to leave within 5 minutes of sitting down. It was probably a good band for a happy hour crowd or after 9pm but not for 7pm dinner. Call first to make sure no band is there. Sadly disappointed.

This place is a must!! The bar atmosphere is great. You will fall in love with the huge dining room table in the bar area!! You will feel right at home. Joeys menu is exquisite and endless with amazing dishes to choose from. Not to mention the presentation of each dish is appealing to the eye. We have been following him for years and he has never disappointed. This will be our new place to have a wonderful meal!!!

I love this place! Food is SO good. Portions are huge. We usually get full by appetizers, but always order the main course since it is really good even after reheating at home. They, also, have tasty cocktails. The place would be even better if they knew their capacity. We made a reservation and ended up sitting at a shaky folding table, which is not a big deal, but...

I was nervous to go here because of the restaurant it was prior, but this is NOTHING like the last two, this was truly amazing. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the entertainment was divine. I went with a party of 10 and we all had a phenomenal night. Thanks Tom! Your place is wonderful!!

Love this place! I dont often eat at the same place again and again but Bacaro always has excellent service, excellent food (apps and main course), great variety, presentation and flavor. Nice deals on wine, Bacaro Wine $20 a bottle with dinner! Gets busy on weekends, so you might want to make a reservation.

Salad and vegetable side dish was delicious. Sometimes trying to eat vegan while dining out can be a challenge but it was super easy here. Ordered the rocket salad without cheese and extra nuts instead. Also ordered the roasted broccoli with walnuts and it was delicious. Best meal Ive had out in a while.

Great atmosphere, Food was outstanding, from appetizer thru desserts. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Live music a nice plus, if at times, a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. Overall, great night and will definitely be returning.

The food is absolutely delicious! I had a party for there with over 100 people and the food was delicious and abundant and the service was outstanding for the amount of people. Everyone is still taking about the party. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Really enjoy the food there. They have the typical Italian dishes on the menu but many of them have unique twist. Very fresh and delicious! Service is great also and definitely make reservations for the weekend!
