I have frequented this restaurant for decades. It has always been a place that my family has enjoyed. So, I booked a reservation for April 2, 2017 for 17 adults. I received an Email on Feb 21, 2017 at 6:14 PM as a confirmation. However, as your website indicates, I needed to verify the reservation by phone. Upon doing so, I was told that the reservation was not confirmed... After many attempts to contact the manager (Marcus), I was told that my reservation was not confirmed because John, the person I confirmed the reservation with, didnt like how I spoke to him on the phone. I will say this. This practice of is not acceptable!! How dare they treat me with such prejudice. I am more than disappointed here. I despise them! As Marcus has stated, "If I had showed up with my family on April 2, I would have been denied the reservation". Very nice! Good thing I called. I now know what it is like to be treated like an outcast. That being said, I will never visit this place again. Moreover, I will forever discourage people to patronize this God forsaking place. I was very disappointed at the restaurant. I was in the mood for mexican. My husband and i went there and it was horrible. The food was not up to standards that i would expect in a mexican restaurant. My husband and i lived down south and frequented a mexican restaurant there that was incredible and the prices where great. If they can make mexican food down south the proper way that tastes out of this world you would think that we can make it properly here. I had chicken fajites and the chicken which should be thinly sliced came out like a grilled chicken breast. Why should i have to cut the chicken when it should come out the proper way. I will venture off to try a new place but, will never recommend this place to anyone nor go back there.

The food was good for the price. The deco is beautiful and it displayed works of art from Frida Kahlo. I was very disappointed with the service, the waiter keep by passing my family and I. He never asked if we needed anything once the busboy served our food. We had to flag the hostess down for extra items and we waited 15 minutes for the bill. He kept accommodating the table next to us who was seated after and left before us. For this reason Alone I would not go back there or recommend this restaurant to any one.

fun happy hour with an older crowd. something long beach has been sorely lacking. food is so-so and service is not good. my first visit we were 8 people. 3 people offered to get us water then nobody took our order. sangria is watered down and flank steak was so well done it was raw hide. stick with the happy hour.

I use to love this place , but like any other restaurant , there portion are small and the prize have gone up in the past 6 months, I paid $8 for a Mexican coffee $17 for quesadilla and the made them small portion, although the food is good , not worth the price, well not making manny visits there again...

Traditional Mexican. Food is good and juicy in a nice casual atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. Kevin our waiter gave us the tip to select the chimichanga and another one (I forgot) if we were ordering the combos since it included a little bit of guacamole. Would definitely go back.

The food was delicious!!! Service to get chips is slow. I order shrimp with rice amazing!! First time having red sangria and I had two glasses, so I guess I enjoyed it!! We ordered nachos. Very good, just not alot of chips.

Best restaurant ever! Mouth watering food, festive decor, clean and inviting, genuine, sweet, helpful service, accommodating of dietary needs, easy to find location and parking behind. If only we lived closer!
