My husband and I were on our way back home to White Plains, NY and decided to skip the usual rest stop food and find something good. The wait staff was very attentive and gave us a delicious sampler of one of their rolls. Presentation of the food was wonderful; for ex., my miso eggplant had been pre-sliced. Salmon teriyaki was delicious as was everything else in the bento box. We didnt try the sushi, but everyone else around us was ordering it. Dessert menu included gelato treats such as a lemon gelato swirled together with limoncello, as well as the usual japanese dessert fare. Really nice atmosphere. Just a great place to go.

The food was tasty and worth the price. The service was a debacle. It took 30 minutes to take our order, another hour to get a salad and soup (including two consultations with our waitress) and then another hour to get our main meals. Two orders were gotten wrong. A complimentary roll was offered but refused because of diet considerations. An hour-long meal turned out to be 2 and a half hours long. Will not be returning.

Came from Lotus Garden in Utica because of wait. Im glad that we ended up here! Very secluded and personal atmosphere. Heart shaped candles and dipping sauce. Got two dinner bento boxes and left full with more food than any other bento box Ive seen. Average price. Not too busy and they had at least 4 sushi chefs working quickly. We even received a complimentary Volcano roll. Would go back again if ever in the area!

I used to love Mitsuba. Its a fun restaurant and a great place to go for birthdays or dates. However, I ate there last night with a friend and the two of us have been extremely sick since about an hour after dinner. This isnt the first time Ive heard reports of food poisoning from their patrons. It makes me skeptical about how fresh their "sushi grade fish" really is... I will not be returning.

Excellent!! I had the New Hartford Roll and the Mitsuba Lobster Roll, which were both phenomenal, and they also came with a couple additional shrimp pieces each. While waiting they also brought a free roll on the house. Everyone was very nice and curious, and the food came very fast. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers!

Great atmosphere, service is incredible (hot hand towels upon your arrival, plate clearing, beverage refill, speedy food and check). Came for sushi-REALLY great value. Their standard rolls are 6 pieces, and run$4-6. Their specialty rolls are 8 pieces, and run $10-13. Sushi was top-notch, fresh. Highly recommended.

Initially i couldnt find it. I drove around the parking lot the sign is not bright . . Its green. However once in there i ordered take out. Staff friendly helping me find the Sushi i was craving!!!! It was quickly prepared. But expensive. Almost $16 for one roll, i got the Happy Friday roll. It was good!

Dont do it. We usually order out from Sumo for lunch on Fridays but decided to go somewhere else. Definitely not worth it. Overpriced and the food was sub-par, at best. The roll we got was very small for the price, did not taste fresh, and the ginger on the side was stale, zero flavor. So disappointed!!!

Wonderful surprise. Bustling little place across from the movie theater. Prompt and friendly service. Kids menu is a little pricey, but you get a ton of food. No "American" food options for kids, but the hibachi dishes should appeal to most kids (mine loved hers). Great sushi! Well be back!!

Good sushi, Im a little disappointed that they dont have very many Sake options (They just have their House Sake). Apart from that, its always clean and Ive never had a bad meal there. I definitely go when I just want a quick sushi fix. Easy and fast to get takeout from, too!

My mothers birthday. She wanted to go here. I called from work to make a reservation for 6 people. I told them what time, they took my name and told me it was all set. We showed up at the time requested. Place was mobbed, They did honor the reservation. We went to Red Samurai.

Good waitstaff, food was mostly bland and the fish was watery...and cuts were small. For the area it may be great, but it is not really GREAT sushi/sashimi. Spicy tuna was sad. Maki rice was mushy... 3 stars only because of the waitstaff.

The staff are nice and friendly. Foods were served in a decent amount of time and the atmosphere is really easy on the eyes and comfy. +10 for cleanliness as well. I gave this one a 4/5 because it can use more room

Good service and food. The only odd thing was that my table seemed to have 2 waiters that didnt communicate drink orders and when we wanted our check. Will definitely eat here again when I get the chance.

Loved Mitsuba! From the volcano roll we recieved (on the house) before our appetizer to the hot green tea and service from beginning to end . A great experience!

A lot smaller than the Rome location, some variances in menu options, no hibachi, or draft beer. Same great service and food!

Be aware. Called the health department. Ordered soup on 12/27/16 and had a ROACH in the soup!!
