Updated review 2/11/2017. Not much has changed. Again this was my daughter pick. And the mac and cheese was just the way she liked it. Steaks have not changed much. I had the rib eye again, it was a solid ok. Really what I expected for a chain place. My wife, the filet again, again a little over cooked, but not to bad. Again I would think since the are a steal place they would cook them.perfectly. I gave it 3 stars because its a chain and its a solid place to go, as long as you take that in consideration. Its not a five star steak house in nyc.lastly, service was good and friendly. took the family to dinner last night around 6:15pm. restaurant was busy for a Tuesday but no wait. how ever, service was very slow. the server was nice but it took for ever to take a drink order, then to receive it. but that aside i looked over the menu and placed our orders. i have not been to an out back in a few years, but there recent commercials about had cut steaks etc, thought it was time to visit again. no too impressed. the steaks seemed a bit pricey for a chain, but them again it is a steak house, so why not. i ordered the bone in rib eye at $25 and my wife a filet for $23. the kids had a burger(adult size) and kids fries and mac n cheese. my rib eye, looked good, but dry and tough. it was a little over cooked(which i am not comparing it to a high end steak house), but all the do is steak so i would think it would be cook perfectly. since it took over 30 minuties for our dinner to come and if you have kids plus the wait on drink, my window of the kids sitting still is closing soon. anyway, i would not order that steak again. my wifes filet was over cooked also, and dry dry dry. i tried it and could barely get it down. such a disappointment. she would have sent it back but we did not wait to wait. my sons hamburger was not impressive. you can go to any fancy chain( 5 guys, smash, jacks way back and get a much better burger for the same price). it was again dry. the beef was not choice, i would guess a very poor quality select or something along that lines. no fat, dry dry dry my daughters had fries and mac and cheese. sadly, this was the BEST MAC and CHEESE. sad for a "steak house". the steaks are bad, but they had the best mac and cheese. i have ordered mac and cheese before in other chains and it looks like they made it 2 days ago and looks dry. this one how ever was so fresh and creamy looking i thought i was in an italian place and ordered kids mac and cheese. how sad the sides are better than the steaks. would go back for mac and cheese if my daughter wanted to. i would not order steak again, would try something else. crazy, they cant do steak but there other dishes seem to be better.

First visit I ordered a porterhouse and was cautioned by another patron that he had to send his back because his "wasnt quite right". Well, that was an understatement, because mine was BAD to the point where I thought I would get sick from the two bites I had already eaten. The second one they sent was great, which tells me they may have been trying to get rid of old stock. SECOND VISIT- a few months later- SAME PROBLEM!!!! I couldnt believe that a big chain like this would have this type of problem. Perhaps they need a new manager or something, but until I hear something really positive, I wont be back. BE CAREFUL!!!!

I have to watch my gluten intake and while more and more restaurants are becoming "gluten-free friendly" its still hard to find a place sometimes. Fortunately, Outback is one of the places that I can go to and really enjoy a dinner out. The food at this Outback is great because you can ask to have it done anyway you like and the service is usually very dependable. All of my friends love the blooming onion, but I sort of have to take their word for it :) because my favs are the Steakhouse salad and the Outback special.

I left my date book there with all my Moms medical information, doctors appointments, phone numbers etc, etc, they found it and saved it and are mailing it to me in NYC. This is FANTASTIC!!! I LOVE THEM! Plus the meal was delicious the service was excellent, our waitperson went back to the kitchen to see if they could do a crab leg entree for my Mom (they could) and the crab legs were much better than a much more expensive version we had had a Joes Crab Shack the week before

The worst steak Ive eaten in years. I ordered a boneless ribeye medium. You would think that it would have a nice char on the outside and a light pink on the inside instead the cook had two slices to determine if it was kept inside or not what person Texas steak cut it let the juices come out and serve it dry with no flavor no char no nothing. Next time I will stick to going only to the Texas Roadhouse steakhouse they never make a mistake with your steak

The food was terrible and they repeatedly kept messing up our steak orders. We had a group of 10 and 5 ordered steak. They asked for medium well and got the opposite. All we needed was the actual cow on the table to top it all off. They offered to recook them, bring out new ones but it was the same issue over and over again. It was pink in the inside with blood gushing out. It was a terrible experience coming all the way from Florida.

Very average place. The air conditioner was blowing on our table the whole time, even after I asked the waiter to turn it down. Then they forgot to bring soup which I ordered, and I had to remind them several times about it. Also, they brought lukewarm coffee (instead of hot), which was super annoying, and they took too long replace it. Finally their wine selection is practically nil, as they lack Malbec and Chiante options.

Ordered a Porter House and it was full of veins on the strip side twice. Tenderloin side was OK. Manager said He disagreed with me and that there is suppose to be some veins or he said fat in the steak. Had sirloin because they could not get the porter house right. It was under cook but I had had enough and just took the sirloin home which was.. good. Waffle desert was over baked and horrible. Wife’s sirloin was good.

Not all Outback Steakhouses are made the same. Fortunately, this Outback is one of the good ones. The steaks are made very well and done to your exact specification. Big bar with ample seating, in case you need to wait for your table. They have a pretty good happy hour, as well (4p -7p M-F, I think). Ill be visiting regularly. *Update* New Blue Cheese Wedge Salad is a great addition to the menu.

Problem with Outback is they advertise good piece of meat but when you get it on your plate its not that great obviously its not going to be a filet mignon quality for 999 but it has to be better and what you get at an Outback normally and it doesnt really depend on the Outback most of them tend to have the same issue quantity over quality.
