We decided to give this place a try after reading good reviews online even though its location was a bit out-of-the-way for us. We went on a Saturday night and was promptly seated at our reservation time. The facility was pretty large, but it was very loud and dark. We had to use our phones flashlight to read the menu. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She assured us that they were working on the acoustic problem. They had an extensive cocktail menu and a good list for beer and wine. The price was reasonable. For starter, we shared an order of Pork Belly in Steamed Buns. We had had a similar appetizer at the famed Momofuku Noodle Bar before, and this version was equally good. The pork belly was "juicy" and melt in the mouth tender. The buns were warm and fluffy. For entrees, we had the Skirt Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, Avocado, an Hand Cut Fries. The steak was not charred enough to form a crust on the outside. The components did not quite fit together and felt like an incomplete steak fajitas dish. The other entree was Cajun BBQ Shrimp & Grits. The grits was surprisingly good, maybe because it did not taste too cheesy. The shrimps had the perfect doneness, but was way too salty for me. Overall, this place had good potential and we may go back again after they fix the acoustic issue.

My Wife and I are always looking for more upscale dining and being from the Lacey, NJ area there is little to chose from. We heard about 618 and gave it a try. All I can say is it exceeded our expectations over and over again. First notice was the decor and ambiance was very upscale modern, everything was beautifully arrange. The place does fill up fast so reservations are highly recommended. We had a short wait so we ordered cocktails from the bar off Thier menu, both were excellent. Our waiter was top notch and the food was 5+ star. Pretty much we left our appatizers, dinner, and desert in the hands of the waiter and he did not disappoint. Cajun Shrimp and grits, pork belly, braised short ribs, short ravioli, and passion fruit sorbet, all outstanding. I can honestly say we left discussing the evening over and over again. We will be back.

This place is excellent. From the decor to the staff to the delicious food in every course, excellent. People are friendly. Food is delicious. Dont get me wrong, if youre looking for a deal, this is not for you. But, I must say, for the quality of food you get, the price and experience is worth it. My one complaint, I wish they had more of a by the glass wine selection. My wife drinks primarily white, me red. I would like to be able to try some of the other wines available by the glass. That said, no other issues. Great place. I will definitely be back.

I think this place strikes a good balance between affordability and quality food. I was most surprised by how inexpensive the menu was with most entrees being about as much as a chain restaurant. The quality of the ingredients, however, was much better than expected. I had the salmon and it was very well prepared and the sides complimented it well. Maybe the rice was a little blah but it was offset by the fantastic butternut squash purée. Service was impeccable. Will definitely be frequenting this place.

I am not sure why people raved about this restaurant. Our waitress was great, the manager checked on us which was sweet, and the atmosphere was elegant, however the food was so blah. There was nothing special about it. If the food was cheaper, I would have been okay with the lack of quality. I tried all three entrees at my table and they were all lacking pizzazz. However- the service and atmosphere were great, therefore Ill give it an extra star

Love this place! The decor is a perfectly balanced rustic vibe with modern touches. We have been there several times and tried many dishes. Never disappointed. The burgers are great, the pasta dishes, seafood dishes, desserts...all terrific (Cinnamon Toast Crunch martini...omg)! The service is fantastic whether youre in the dining room or at the bar. Im so happy this place is a mile away from home.

I wanted to love this place, its so pretty and the menu looked so interesting, but the only entree option for vegetarians is a very plain spaghetti in a red sauce. I think that needs to be stepped up a bit and would love to give this place a second chance if that were the case. Can"t give it more than 3 stars though, for that reason, in this day and age!

Had my wedding reception here. This place is amazing. I was cared for amazingly as were all my guest. The music was great the dj and mc were awesome. Every single guest raved about the food and atmosphere. The event planner was amazing as was the managers and staff. I recommend this place 1000000000%

I started with the spicy Cajun shrimp. Just right. The short ribs ravioli a garlic lovers delight . The skirt steak was perfectly prepared. The Gelato tasted like it was right off the vine and tree. The servers keep the food coming. Excellent food and service. I enjoyed every bite.

Everyone was very friendly. It was not crowded maybe short staffed. The orders were incorrect and it took 2 hours to receive all of our meal. If we were out for the evening that would be fine but we had a child that needed to eat and go to bed.

Great gluten free options! Fantastic food and staff. The hostess, busser, waitress and the manager were friendly and helpful! Ive been in the restaurant business over 30 years and this is a Class A run establishment! I will return!

Christopher has impressed us with his food for years. His catering hit the mark every time. We are thrilled that he opened a restaurant in the area. The food, service and decor could not have been better. Cant wait to go back.

Food was good but did not st at warm for long because it was freezing in the back room. We asked for the A/C to be lowered three times and they never did. We sat the whole meal with our jackets on. The entire room was cold.

You have to try this place! They must have the best cooks in Monmouth County working here, every one of the 5 steaks was cooked perfectly and the angry shrimp pasta was to die for! :)
