This was a poor experience for our friends birthday. First our waitress messed up the drink order and stood around to wait for someone to take it instead of fixing it. Next, the food took longer then average to come out. When it did come out we were missing 2 meals and a side. (One of which was the birthday girls) We asked for the manager to see if we could get a discount on those two meals when the bill came. The waitress started arguing as to why we wanted the manager. When the manager did come out (after asking a second time) he looked disheveled. He exclaimed that the demands were ridiculous and offered no consolation. We will never return to this establishment.

Landing on Kobelts rough runway, we expected an average experience at best from the restaurant. Our feelings further mixed as we walked in severely underdressed in shorts and tshirts. Thankfully this was simply the particular instance of a funeral reception being held in the large gathering room, thereby explaining the attire. Once we were seated, we ordered off a menu composing of lunch specials (sandwiches and burgers) and dinner entrees (varied, including seafood). The sandwiches were excellent and at a reasonable price. For two, the bill came out to about $25. Well worth the money for the quality and minimal distance from the airport

Have now been to Nu Cavu twice. First experience wasnt bad. Overpriced, mediocre food but decent service. Second time was for friend and the service was extremely slow. Waitress brought out wrong drink and rather than apologizing she stood there insisting she had the order correct. I wound up taking the wrong drink because it was awkward. The rest of the meal was nothing short of terrible and we will not be returning. There are much better restaurants with professional service in Montgomery.

Went there for a couple drinks and an early lunch yesterday and the service and food was wonderful I was shocked at how well everything was priced for what me and a friend got. Sat at the bar had a beer and a few perfectly made cocktails by the bartender Karen who made fantastic recommendations I will definitely be adding this in my places to visit weekly, this place is a gem, if youre thinking about going there go you will not be disappointed!!!

Food was good, but the service was terrible! Received the wrong drinks, salads with the appetizers and service was slow. I asked for my food wrapped and received someone elses food. The waiter thought it was funny! Thank god I checked the bag. Spoke to the owner, who just had excuses. How about a round of free drinks or dessert. If she had offered, I would go again. I will never go back, or recommend!

Weve gone there three different times within two months both with couples and with families and we had an incredible dinner, service was top notch, atmosphere and setting is very relaxing as well. I would highly recommend this place if youre in the area. During the day its fun to watch the planes go in and out as well as the RC planes.

Excellent food! Love the ambiance too. I had the seafood ravioli which had a surprisingly generous portion of shrimp and scallops. We also got the red snapper with coconut rice and the rigatoni Bolognese, all were quite delicious. I would definitely come back again

Poor service, a defensive waitress and a rude owner who does not treat customers with respect. This trifecta is a sure fire way to keep customers from coming back. It was the perfect storm of disasters. Mark Wahlberg wouldnt go down with this ship.

My husband and I have been 3 times and all were EXCELLENT!!! My husband manages a restaurant in Ct and has a degree in restaurant management and LOVES this place and hes a hard critic. Great food, very good service, beautiful views and decor.

Always good food!!! Seafood is fresh and tasty!!! A little out of the way but worth the trip cause you will have good food and good times in the lounge!!! The fireplace in the winter is nice while you are eating..

First we had to get our own drinks. After waiting 30 minutes. Then we had to ask for a waitress to take our order. Salads were good! Service not so much. Sunday at 1:00. Not a big busy time.

I paid over $20 for the veal, I swear this had to be pork. I have never had veal that tough before in my life. Way too overpriced for the quality of food they offer.
