Took my wife to this restaurant as we are new the area. I read previous reviews and downloaded the menu before we went. Oh my God! We chose an appetizer. The crabmeat tostadas. A nice surprise for us both. We almost ate our plates. Real crabmeat that was so fresh with a nice presentation. Next my wife had salmon a la poblana and I the brocheta especial. Every item was fresh. My wifes salmon as superb. Not overcooked at all. My filet mignon was the best I ever had. The food was so great we wanted to take home and eat the next day. Honest. Will definitely go back in a few weeks. We found a gem in Suffern.

We have been a few Mexican restaurants in Suffern and this is the best one. Small with a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent and everyone was working hard to keep things moving with a full restaurant on a Friday night. Its not a place for kids. The price is average for any nice Mexican food. Combo meals are $15. Margaritas are $9 (price for margaritas are not on the drink menu). We have been going to Ole Ole (a few doors away) and like it for larger groups, families or take out.

Downtown Suffern is comprised of many Mexican restaurants and Tequilla Sal Y Limon tops them all. The atmosphere is comfortable, a single room lighted by candles and elegant blue sconces, with Mexican mosaics garnishing the walls. The food is delicious, especially the black bean soup blended with a mild chipotle sauce. The chips are the most freshly baked of any other Mexican restaurant in town.

Best Mexican restaurant in Suffern or the general area. Small so sometimes can be a small wait. Full bar and great sangria and margaritas. The Pulpo en Salsa Verde is out of this world. Camerones Tequila is delicious. Everything is good! Parking across street in commuter lot

Drinks were excellent - strong and well balanced. Food was delicious. They had several vegetarian options, and were able to accommodate to our requests. Desert was phenomenal, and what earns this 5 star review. Some of the best desserts weve ever had.

For such a small place it has Great food. I always get Chicken mole where ever I go for Mexican food, and this place exceeded what I was expecting! The salsa is just as awesome too. Dont pass it up if your in town. Ill be back for sure.
