This is a review for their take out only. One star is for their food. It wasnt the best Southern BBQ Ive ever had, but it was edible. The second star comes from the kindness of my heart, as the gentleman who I ordered from was very nice and honest about the wait time. Otherwise, Im truly upset about the portion size (small for the prices), the undercooked bacon, the wilted lettuce and low quality meat in my sliders (on cold buns that were still stuck together), and the Sprite I got instead of the ginger ale I asked for. This place has potential, but Ive experienced it as being mediocre at best. Very unfortunate. I wont be returning.

I CAME TO THIS HELL HOLE FOR A LAST MINUTE MOTHERS DAYS DINNER.OK NOW LET ME TELL YOU MY EXPERIENCE,THE FOOD IS SO DISGUSTING THAT MY 3 YEAR OLD BOSTON TERRIER THREW UP THE GARBAGE RIBS AND BRISKET THAT OBVIOUSLY MY FAMILY DIDNT EAT..THIS PLACE SMELLS LIKE A 1980S JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAFFETERIA MOP BUCKET..I WAS SO DISGUSTED..THE FOOD HAS NO FLAVOR WHAT SO EVER AND 1 WAITRESS FOR THE WHOLE PLACE ON MOTHERS DAY..LMAOO WHAT A JOKE..THE WAITRESS WAS A GOOD PERSON THOUGB AND I FELT BAD FOR HER.SHES JUST TRYING TO MAKE A PAYCHECK SO I GET IT BUT THE OWNER NEEDS TO GET SLAPPED..HOOOOORRRRIBBLE..IF U DONT BELIEVE ME THEN I DARE U TO TRY IT.

Just got a delivery from Slide Bar-B-Q , Not impressed for the amount of money I spent. NO forks, plates, napkins. my food came in bags ... so annoying ! I mean really thats really basic. The Chicken wasnt fully cooked & the mac n chesses was nothing to brag about and to top it off Im only 5 minutes away for the restaurant and the food wasnt even warm I got it.. I will not be ordering from here again ... oh and I almost forgot I waiting an hour for the food to come... Smh!

Ive ordered their takeout to our job for lunch a few times over the last few months when someone has had a BBQ craving. The food hasnt been bad, but the wait time can be pretty bad (1-1.5 hours, and we are half a mile away). Went into the restaurant last week for lunch to see if it would be any faster.. With six people in the bar/restaurant in total, lunch was still an hour affair for a coke + sliders. The food was a lot better at the bar than through takeout.

Good but not great. The brisket was dry and had been reheated, the pulled pork was too heavy on the sauce (added in the kitchen after the meat is cooked), the ribs were quite good and really fell off the bone, sides were very good too. The food took forever to come and the prices are very high for what this place is (a bar with a kitchen).

The food was great and it hit the spot! Now for all you natural born retards that are complaining about the food. You clearly have no clue as to how good BBQ is supposed to taste. The pulled pork was seasoned to perfection and the meat from the ribs fell off the bones. Yall are just a bunch of Pu$$ies! Stop complaining. Have a good day!

Order from here often and food is amazing. Best BBQ in New York by far. Very fresh and everything is made to order. Been to slide also and a great rustic decor. Great place to grab BBQ and later hang at the bar and watch a game. This is queens hidden gem. All should try plus they have parking in rear parking lot. Awesomeness!

Dropped by on a Thursday night. Place has a nice and cozy local bar feel. I ordered Fried Pickles and Sliders. Both were pretty good. My friend ordered baby back ribs- delicious. Friendly staff and good customer service. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu.

I have visited Slide numerous times in the past 6 months and they never disappointed me. Service is always very courteous but never intrusive. Their Slide beer is good enough - especially for $3 during happy hour :). Louisiana Ribs, Sliders and tomato soups are my favorite.

Have to say...the only reason im giving it 2 stars is because the Waitress was by herself the entire time serving her guests and she did a great job...but sadly, the food wasnt worth the wait...at all..plus, there were two enormous roaches...Im done. Never coming back.

Ordered delivery. The Ultimate burger and the fried chicken were delicious, the fried chicken was nicely battered with buttermilk and you could actually taste it, cant go wrong with either choice plus a side of sweet potato fries. Will be coming back for more.

Bartender was trying to be nice but even her service was bad as it took over 20 minutes to get drinks, Fried Chicken took 1:30. Over $50 on fried chicken and a couple beers, chicken was good but WTF! No one else was ordering food.

Just got my food instead of tha one pound Brisket they gave me a few slices that was filled with pure fat but tha corn breads and beans were really good tho just tha meat was trash that is why I gave a 1 star .

If you like "rustic" dirty glasses, tables & mirrors/decor then this is the place for you. Ah! A bonus: they serve the food cold! Aarons the waiter was nice, but the kitchen really lets you down.

Its pretty good BBQ. Its not Fette Sau or Arrogant Swine, but its good enough to satisfy your BBQ cravings without traveling to Brooklyn. For sure, its much better than Dallas "BBQ"

This place has really good barbecue but the service is subpar. Our waitress struggled to understand what we wanted to order but the food made up for it. I would def go back.

Best BBQ hands down in New York. You may run into some Ny mets here during season. Home of the $1 shot. Ribs fall off the bone and voted best in queens magazine.
