food was okay but definitely NOT worth it. the service was absolutely horrible and the owner/waitress was the rudest person Ive ever met. firstly, we asked her to put some extra broth and she said she couldnt (we then asked her to put less noodles, and again it seemed to be impossible). then, we asked her if the food came with an appetizer since the last time we went there, she brought out the side before the actual meal and she proceeded to YELL at us saying that its a side and not an appetizer and telling us to calm down. never coming back here again.

Just discovered this Jem - -i always do take out only way home from work - -great shopping center location place my order and do some errands, card shop, wine store etc. and this waiting for me in 10minutes. FRESH amazing, wish i had time to dine in. Check out their Flying Dragon Roll spicy tuna roll with eel tempura, tobiko, crunchy, scallion, eel sauce and spicy mayo - SO SO good - -i keep going back!

Nagashima continues to have delicious and amazing food unfortunately they have forgotten the front of tr house is also important and to rug and paper Hanging on the walls is off putting I do hope they continue to put as Much into the impression a diner gets as they do the food otherwise it might be losing customers that dont stay to eat. Cleanliness matters. (9 dollars for 4 clams wow I was shocked )

Awesome food (always fresh) and service. The best server there is Jimmy. It is SO CLEAN too. They always have special sushi and rolls that are one of a kind. My mom and i go here at least once a wk- I always look foward to it. Def try the yum yum roll and the rainbow roll they have. A lil note, their hrs for lunch are 11am- 2:30pm and then they reopen later in the day for dinner like after 5pm.

This cozy restaurant has great ambience and wonderful food. Tasty and inexpensive lunch specials can be phoned in and carried out conveniently. The dining experience is a pleasure from the charming host to the amiable sushi chef, who with a gentle nudge will tell you a fishing story. Check their website for discount coupon and specials.

The food here is presented beautifully and is good, but not great. The quality of the raw fish just wasnt up to Minami or Kotobuki standards. With those two restaurants being a 10, I would give Nagashima a 7. The service was very attentive and the staff was warm and inviting. Solid restaurant, but I guess were just spoiled.

I wouldnt eat sushi there. The restaurant is barely clean enough I ordered a plate of steamed veggies that was full of sand! When I complained, the chef/owner denied it. I dont trust them. Word of advice: dont use your credit card there. Also, decor is dated (cheesy carnations on the table; green vynl chairs);

Worst quality of food. Fish was so old that it got dried and smelled unfresh. The owner said "mistakes happen." i wonder if the sushi-man even has his license. Price is ridiculously high. I would not eat their food evn if it is free. Do not go to this restaurant if you enjoy the good quality sushi

There are only a handful of truly authentic Japanese restaurants on LI... this is one of them. Its one of the few with Japanese-speaking staff. Service here is fantastic.

The real deal. Japanese cuisine from Japan. Amazing hot food and sushi. Get the nagashima lobster. Crab claws , octopus rolls were all excellent.
