This place is only surviving because there is no other dine-in restaurant around for miles in the area and its sad because it located in the hud of Queens Village...Lets Talk about RUDE , When you 1st walk in the owner is sitting in front on his ass either reading the paper or playing on his cell phone, he wont greet you or even talk to you..They have 2 servers, a nice friendly sweet black women who very helpful and they have some rude old ass white man who will straight up ingore you until you call him over , ive been there twice and both times i refuse to leave him a tip because hes a racist.....Lets Talk about out of date ,The last time this place seen a professional contractor was when it was originally build back in 1970 , Other than that the place is in desperate need of a MAJOR face lift..You name it and its old as hell from the outdated wood wall paneling to the old taped up chairs, "Wifi"? , yeah right , there are exactly 3 a/c plug outlets in the whole place that look like they could spark a fire at anytime...The bathrooms are an eye sore as well , you will find more room in a phone booth and when walk in - you will walk right back out cause you will rather take a piss in the back alley......As far as the food is certain the stove top is out in the open so i order very simplie what i can see actually being made like a egg sandwish and prep to serve right on front of me......

On first glance, This is the type of restaurant that you will drive right by. Its old and needs to be updated. And thats just the outside the inside your imagination will run wild. But once you taste the grits fish or the eggs or many other options youll know you made a good choice by coming here. The Waitresses are very nice and attentive . The price is just right you can take your family of four or more or less lol and you still come out with leftover pennies in your pocket.

I just love this spot! My family also love the food , its so tasty and I am a foodie love to eat and you get a lot of food for you money. Only 1 thing they dont take credit cards or debit card I called and ask them.

It seems like every time I go in this place they end up just charging what they want. I just dont think that is the correct way to run a business. The guy at the cash register is very rude. He has no manners.

This location will be closing for good as of June 30, 2017. Try it before it too late. Great place to grab a quick bite. The food was great, old school and down to earth.They are cash only.
