My husband and I order here sometimes , We get the broiled salmon, turkey burger or chicken sandwich which is usually decent but recently we ordered and they messed up, my husband went to pick it up and overheard the worker shouting why they didnt make the salmon to hurry up and cook it and wa-la! it was done in minutes, he came home and found out how they did it. They must have had some other dish sitting around because it wasnt the usual broiled salmon we get, it had loads of garlic and butter on it and tasted microwaved and the corn on the cob was mushy and the baked potato tasted funny. My chicken souvlaki wasnt so great either, they doused the bread with chopped garlic and put feta on my salad when I asked them not to. I called to complain and the man argued that hes sold 50 salmons today with no complaints and the potato is fresh, I asked him to make it again for me to pick up and I went back with the dish I had, I was met at the door with a elder woman who was so condescending. Instead of just apologizing and giving me my food she goes off defending that the baked potatoes are fresh, as I went to show her she took it away and said " I dont need to see it, I know everything is fresh here and we get no complaints, your the only one who has a problem" and sarcastically saying "your the customer so you must be right", she acted as if I was trying to scam a free meal. Ive manage restaurants myself and know you dont compensate your dissatisfied customers with an attitude, all I wanted was them to correct their mistake and simple apology and smile but because of this experience I will no longer be dining here.

Came here for easter brunch, was not packed by any means. Waiter took drink orders, i ordered the forst coffee. Never got it, i let it slide. Finally about 15 minutes later i mentioned it and got it. Then we ordered, what a mess! If i had a nickel for every "Que?" I got i would have eaten for free. Our food comes and my cousin never got his fiod " it came after 5 of us finished eating". My daughter got hers when everyone else finished eating as well. These werent time consuming orders "eggs and bacon, pancakes". It was a morning of guessing who ordered what, who gets what drink, and try to learn spanish so i can understand my server. I will never be setting foot in here again. Only came here because michaels was packed.

I came here this morning for mothers day and I was waiting patiently for a server to seat us. I was standing inside for appx. 12 mins until I finally said something to the servers. After I told her Ive been standing and waiting for her to acknowledge me, she said "Oh, I didnt see you there". She also said I shouldve came up to her instead. But as a customer, I shouldve been greeted as soon as I walked in. If she was busy, she couldve said something. She just stared and kept seating other people. This use to be my go to diner every weekend. But after today, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Over all this place is a good diner. I like the modern look with the over sized The service is up to speed for a busy New Yorker, The waitress and the bus boy work well together and water is constantly poured when the cup is done. During breakfast the coffee pot keep refilling ! Prices are on par with other diners in the area. Hamburgers good and they will serve them rare. Fries are decent and crispy. I like their eggplant parmigiana, which is my usual dinner choice. Good experience and I eat their quite often.

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Lynbrook, so Im not sure what other people rating here experience. Nice people, good service and decent food, it exceeds many of the other diners in the area. Diners by definition dont serve haute cusine, but the food has been better than many others, and I eat out a lot. I could rate the others by name but why bother. Suffice it say, other than portions at any diner being way too big, this food is better than most. All in all a pleasant experience.

I went for breakfast today and while the food is good, they are very restrictive about refills on coffee. They gave me a 3rd cup, but both the waitress and the boss told me that there is a 2 cup limit. If you like a lot of coffee like me, I suggest IHOP or the Sunrise Diner in Wantagh. I wont go to this diner again! Try Lynbrook Eats on Merrick Road instead. Plenty of coffee and the food is great!

Terrible service and food! I ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich and a classic burger. The bread on both were so soggy it broke apart as soon as you touched it. After spending $17 plus tipping them (they didnt come with fries) the owner tells me "what do you want me to do about it" when i complained. I will never go there again and i will be sure to tell others the same.

Great place to visit if you are looking for traditional diner food. Tons of options to choose from, with portions that are made for second dinners at home. Servers are friendly and efficient, although I would suggest arriving early for breakfast as it tends to get busy and service slows. Atmosphere is clean and welcoming.

The menu itself contained what a usual diner has, nothing special. Aside from that, a Pulled Pork sandwich was ordered and they "didnt have it" so I ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich instead. The food was okay, but the waitress an unwarranted attitude towards us and forgot some details of what was ordered as well.

The food was absolutely terrible, the waitress was nasty and we were overcharged. When approached, the woman running the place was nastier than the waitress, if one could believe it possible. Many thanks to the Lynbrook Police, who responded and suggested that I may post my experience on social media!

first off anyone saying this place is an exceptional value needs to get a cat scan and quickly.if paying 15 dollars for 2 eggs and some hash and an iced tea is a good value then theyre insane. old diner in need of renovation do yourself a favor and keep driving

Honestly not a well run business establishment. I was very disappointed in the multitude of errors and mistakes they made. Its such an easy process to write something down on a piece of paper and make food and bring it out.

The food was not bad; however, the service in the dinner was horrible. There was ine worker for seven tables. Our server Mikes attitude was nasty, sarcastic, it and completely turned me off from ever returning.

My girlfriend and I go here all the time. We have never been unhappy. If you are in Nassau County it is worth eating there. I like that they are right on Sunrise Highway and they are fast.

Ate breakfast there Wednesday 12/2/15. The waiter gave me the standard menu, not the one containing the breakfast specials - so I overpaid for breakfast by $5. Ill never go there again!
