Please be aware of this place they should renovate the place. Also the food sucks I was there on 5-10-16 there was a giant Cicero achieve that boogie do from the dining area to the kitchen walls. We were mortified but decided to stay wrong choice. The food had an odd taste which salt pepper nor sounds sauce could salvage.. The waiter took the plate too the manager for approval to take the dish off this was the first time I have ever seen this occur. Dont me like me and try this place is am warning you stay away and tell your friends the same.

Narita is japanese food dedicated to serving a variety of people within the Queens area, not specifically japanese people. Just like how chinese food, indian food, middle-eastern food, etc...evolves in America, so does Japanese food. So if youre in the Forest Hills area and want Japanese (somewhat Americanized) food...yes, narita is a great place to try and Im sure they will greet you warmly, as they always do all of their customers.

I used to each here all the time. However, they will take advantage of a good customer. Check your bill - I place the same order every day for lunch. On two separate occasions, I was over charged. The owner refused to take care of the problem this second and last time - I will never walk into the place again. The owner was simply rude. Well, cannot wait for Moca to reopen.

I have to say that I am now a regular at this restaurant. I couldnt believe how great the service was and how resonable the prices were. They always make you feel at home and welcome. The table service is like that of a 5 star silver service restaurant. And no... I dont personally know the owner nor do I know anyone that works there. It really is a great place to eat.

The newer Japanese restaurants along Austin St. have been a bit of a disappointment, and Narita is no exception. The Soba noodles were absent of any flavor and plenty of the other dishes were very fried. If you enjoy oohing and ahhing at the Teppanyaki tables, this place is great. For those looking for more authentic fare - head on over a few blocks over to Sushi Yasu.

Great restaurant located on 70th Rd., right by Austin Street. They have outdoor seating perfect for warmer days and for people watching. The service here is always impeccable. They always make sure your water is topped off and they check in on you to make sure your happy with your meal. The most important thing you need to know is the sushi is fresh, and delicious!

This place is unbelievably overpriced, as most of the restaurants are in this neighborhood. I dont get it how a meal here can cost more than in Manhattan. This place wouldnt survive a day in Manhattan. Its only barely related to Japanese cuisine. Fine dining? With those moldy plastic tables? Right.

Although the food was good. The service was pretty mediocre. We never got one of our drinks and waited too long for the waiter to take the order. By the end my friend got her meal a good 10 minutes before the rest of us so we couldnt properly enjoy our meals together.

My wife and I go here at least 2-3 times a month. We found it to be the best overall value for Japanese food in the area. Plus the option of having hibachi or regular seating allows for variety. Get the extra large Sapparo beers for $6.50!
