Second best place in Westchester to get real, authentic sushi and sashimi. My wife, from Tokyo, and I visit Japan often and this is about as close as you can get without buying a $2000 plane ticket and flying there yourself. Dont listen to the one star review on here. I was pretty shocked to see such a poor review, until I actually read it and realized the guy is full of himself. "I suffered through a horrible meal but was still such a wonderful human as to leave them a tip. Arent I great?" Get over yourself.

Their food is not fresh but they do a great job covering up the taste. The waiter had a smart mouth after letting him know that the wine was watery. He told us to go to another restaurant if we didnt like it there. I shouldnt have gave a tip but thats just the person I am. If he had good character, he wouldve apologized and not been so defensive. Unfortunately, the food wasnt the only disappointment. However, the cheap draft beer is a great strategy to keep the clientele coming.

There are many options for sushi in the area and I have tried them all. This is the worst, bar none. No other sushi restaurant comes close to being this bad. Small, cluttered, dirty, poor service, disorganized and mediocre food makes this place the worst restaurant of its type in Westchester. Roll the money you would have spent here in seaweed and eat it. It will taste better and at least you wouldnt have had to wait forever to get it.

This is one of the best and inexpensive Japanese sushi places around. It is so fresh and has top grade sushi and menu items. The staff is so nice and it is a comfortable place to frequently eat in. Unlike their rivals, thses are actually very nice owners and inviting to all who enter. The food is off the hook delicious.....I will patronize them always. My fave place of all!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time we eat the service is very fast and the employees serving food are well mannered and they are clean and convenient. My parents told me wants to come back again because the food is awesome and is very cheap unlike Wild Fusion in Main Street in front of City Center is too expensive. Most of all I enjoy Fuginoya Restaurant.

Excellent service and fresh, skillfully prepared sushi. The wife and I have been coming to this local spot for years! Friday-Sunday nights are the busiest, so plan accordingly (especially if you have a big party...they dont take reservations, and the space is quite cozy). The wait for a table is worth it!

Great food and service! I had the ginger pork lunch special and it was yummy. $10 might be a little steep comparatively, but its a bargain for sit-down Japanese fare. The atmosphere was really cozy. Most of the customers were Japanese so it added to the immersion. I want to go back everyday.

Fantastic sushi, sashimi, tempura, udon, ramen, and other excellent cooked japanese dishes. Attentive service, top cooking, and the freshest ingredients. Everything you would expect from a quality restaurant. And very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

A little expensive, but well worth it. The kitsune udon has nice soup. Expect a 20-30 min wait if you have a group. I go there alone and frequently can get a seat near the sushi booth. Due to the quality, a lot of local japanese family eat here...
