We were robbed by the staff at Greenwich ave. My bag was sitting on a chair between me and another guest. I used my iphone a few times during dinner to take pictures or check it. When we got up to leave the phone was out of my bag. We think it was taken when they were doing the hibachi. I was floored and refused to leave until we found it. This made everyone quite upset and they told me Id have to call the police. So I did. After a lot of work and figuring out how to ping my phone the police, my son and I tracked down my phone. It was wrapped in a napkin and shoved in some grass in back of the restaurant with a plate of broken glass and a wooden palette over it. I was totally determined because I didnt move and the staff acted like Id lost my mind. DONT EAT THERE!!

I was doing a job down the road(Im a computer tech) and decided to stop by here for dinner. I got the sushi dinner deluxe which was about 18 dollars. When the waiter brought it out it was less sushi than I was expecting(Probably about 12 pieces of various types of nigirizushi, which is the type with the piece of fish over the clump of rice) a tuna roll, and a piece with the flying fish roe. Even thought it was a bit expensive(Its in a nice area though, so maybe all the restaurants cost around that price), it was some of the best sushi Ive ever had. My waiter(an older gentleman, didnt get his name) was friendly, and the interior was very nice. I plan to go back at some point during lunch next time Im in the area

My boyfriend and I come here all the time and the food is absolutely outstanding. One server has come to know us and our special orders of double noodles with every dish we get and when we ordered for delivery she knew our order and came and delivered it. We needed an extra $3 for our noodles and she said that we could just pay next time we came in since we only had a $10 and she didnt have change. If thats not amazing, when unloading our food they gave us utensils and napkins. We also ordered mochi and they not only put it in a separate bag because it was cold but they put ice in the bag. 5 star service, food, an amazing enviorment, friendly workers, this place truly has got it all.

Original Korean owner is back!!! She sold all her sushi restaurants and retired. The people who bought the Greenwich branch from her lost a lot of regular loyal customers including me. Recently, the original owner came out of retirement and renovated the restaurant. Hopefully, shell get her old customers back and gain new ones. Always have great service and great food there. Sushi is fresh and Im very picky with my sushi! Thanks Abis staff!!!

Disgusting. Repulsive. Afterwards made me feel sick to my stomach causing disgusting diahreah. The armoic building was horrible and quite cheesy in my opiniom. Disrespectful children were playing with the bong which was very disrespectful to the asian culture of this disgusting restaraunt. Of all the places on Greenwich Avenue, Abis is the most repulisive (I wish I could give 0 stars).

My first time here and it was a very pleasant experience. I came to Connecticut for work and was in the mood for sushi and Im very glad I stopped here. They were extremely friendly as soon as I walked in the door and the food was excellent. Price was definitely affordable came out very fast. My whole experience was great will definitely come again next time I am in this area

For many years, I loved sushi Sunday brunch. However, it does not taste so good anymore. There is no a big choice of it, no that many variety, and it does not taste well. Such a big disappointment. The couple who used to work there before, they were real professional and knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, they left and opened their own restaurant in Boston.

I live in stamford and was looking for a great hibachi grill i picked this one with the reviews and was not disappointed great food, great service, i think the only thing would be for them to seperate the time my sushi came and when my chef came to the table it was alittle quick. I just needed more time. It has great prices.

The beef in the beef soon tofu isnt fresh, I ordered from here somewhat consistently until I realized I would always have digestive problems after eating the beef soon tofu It might seem exotic but most of the flavors here are extremely bland compared to fresher Japanese options in NYC...

The people were friendly however the food was terrible. The vegetable fried rice didnt have any vegetables and taste burnt. The sauces were bland & tasteless. The kitchen looked dirty. Will not go back.

Pricier than other hibachi places. But the food was great and the chef performed tricks Ive seen no where else. Try sticking your hand in the fire without getting burned.

Consistently delicious. Love the salmon hibachi and fried rice. Great meals and memories. Staff is incredible. Love the ice cream too. Lucky to have thus gem nearby.

can u please get rid of the big live fish in the front of the restaurant in that small tank, it is so sad to look at and that is why i dont visit anymore.

Very good steak and shrimp, not an overstatement. I eat hibachi reguarly and this place is above the rest. A little too pricey.

Good hibatchi but you are paying Greenwich ave prices. However food and service are both fantastic.
