We arrived at 9:45 am and were seated immediately. My party consisted of 3 adults and 1 child. I ordered a coffee, my niece ordered a hot chocolate, my sister ordered an iced coffee and my boyfriend ordered an orange juice that never arrived to the table. After about a 10 minute wait, we ordered our food: crab cake eggs benedict, lumberjack french toast (served with eggs, sausage, ham and bacon) and a sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with homestyle potatoes. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out. A table of 4 adults that were seated a little before we ordered our food had ordered, received their food, ate and paid when we received our breakfast. Then, once we were finished with our food, it took our server another 15 minutes to bring our check. The quality of the food was definitely NOT worth the wait. The homestyle potatoes were more like scalloped potatoes and mushy. I will say the challah bread french toast was delicious. The crab cakes had a sweet taste to them with a ton of carmelized onions on top of the crab cake under the egg. Our bill total was $45. What a waste of time and money. When I brought my concerns to the attention of the owner, he simply told me that he was short staffed and apologized. Unfortunately for this establishment, we will not be dining here again and we do not recommend it to others.

Love this place!! My bf and I are such foodies. Prices vary but are reasonable compared to Astoria. Menu can be a bit overwhelming but the food is beyond compare to any other and I love variety. Brunch menu is delish. Pancakes are the size of a plate and fluffy. The Irish breakfast is perfection. Hawaiian burger is yummy. The healthy menu is always a good alternative too. The booths are the best seat in place or tables by window. My onpy dislike is the tables in center are too tightly squeezed. Service is excellent. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. Owners are a family. 2 sons taking orders and making deliveries. Husband and or wife are always present. Its one of the things I love about it. Family owned. Not some franchise carbon copy. Too much of that. Weekends are busy in morning hours due to popularity in neighborhood. All and all 2 thumbs up. We love it!

We went there for late lunch / early dinner (around 4:30pm) last week. The food was beyond good - portions are big enough that we had lunch for the next day - but the service was a little erratic as it seemed that they were slightly short staffed. We went back yesterday at 10am and the service was excellent - the "busboys" really made a difference and really stepped up to keep us happy and well supplied with coffee! (I hope that the tips are shared with the busboys). Once again the food was superb and very generous. We will definitely be back often. Highly recommended.

We were a party of eight looking for a place served breakfast and lunch and picked the Good Eats Diner. It was a Sunday so we also had a brunch menu to choose from. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was happy. The brunch menu included a glass of juice, fruit salad ( large bowl), and coffee or tea. The portions were huge and the good delicious. Staff was attentive and would not hesitate to eat there again. Other than looking for parking and waiting fifteen minutes for a table at prime time it was a very nice place to enjoy a meal.

A lovely little establishment that has an atmosphere that could accommodate your next date, family outing, or it is great for sitting down to read! (Or in my case to write a review). The food is surprisingly good looking and has a taste to match. The staff puts on a very good face, being friendly and inviting. The worst thing you will deal with is paying a bit more for food... but you will not be stiffed your portion size!

I found Good Eats by accident, and it mustve been fate. Ive been a loyal customer ever since. First off, the restaurant is very clean. The food is Awesome, and the portions are plentiful. The staff is very attentive, and mostly friendly. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering both the quality and portion size. I would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area to try it out. You will not be disappointed.

This is a nice little diner that serves large portions for a "too good to be true" price. And theres no catch because their food is made fresh and of great quality. Theres hardly a time when Ive walked out without any leftovers, but Im still satisfied with food such as this, to be my lunch for the next day. Highly recommend if youre looking for a very filling and generous meal.

I got fried chicken and waffle and my friend got the Benjamin (a grilled cheese and pastrami sandwich). Portions are huge (four pieces of fried chicken for me, and my friends country fries were two whole potatoes worth of fried wedges). Food was tasty, waffle was perfectly crisp on the outside. Cute space too, bright and clean.

The food was great, the portions were huge. I had an omelet with cheese and bacon that looked like it was made with 5 eggs for just $9. Not kidding. honestly this is the place to go if you havent eaten all day. Pretty cheap too. The waiters are nice. The only thing that took long was getting the check.

The place is small, so I dont suggest you go at a busy time. The food is absolutely great. I had a Thanksgiving theme sandwich and it was delicious. The portions are big so you do get your moneys worth and its a nice family atmosphere kind of place. This place is great for everyone.

Last time for good eats. Steady decline lately and I was a regualer. Over cooked destroyed burgers on greasy bread. Over salted cream of turkey soup. Female taking orders over the phone extremely unfriendly on phone. A shame used to be a great place with a diverse fun menu.

Always such a good experience here. Service is good. An extensive menu with all types of options. The portions are big so it can be reserved as a second meal or shareable. Everything I have tried from salads to burgers have been delicious. Their fries are addictive!

A large selection of rustic diner fare to mouth watering benedicts. Some items are more playful than delectable but all in all I would not complain. Table sizes can barely accommodate the plates on the table, but who cares the food is good and priced very right!

Very crowded, staff needs to be a bit more friendlier, and manager needs to be hospitable to customers. Food looks and tastes great but it takes a long time from ordering to your table. It took my order almost 25 minutes to arrive.

Good Eats is a wonderful gourmet eating establishment. Their sandwiches are creative and inspired. So happy to encounter delicious various aioli and a variety of breads and cheeses. Portions are huge. Service is great.
