Short version: This place has amazing food, get there early or prepare to wait, its CASH ONLY, and I absolutely recommend it to everyone that I know, especially out-of-towners that want to experience the best beef on weck and some fantastic wings. Long version: I am ALWAYS impressed with the food at Bar Bill. Their beef on weck (or plain roll) is legendary, as are their wings. The setting is... lets say "intimate" as its a fairly small space for what it is. Theres a decent-sized bar (12-15 seats) with frosted taps for Molson and Coors Light, along with about 8 other taps for various staples (Guinness, Bud Light) and rotating selection of craft beers (Founders, Southern Tier, Hamburg, etc.). There are a couple of larger tables for 6 people, maybe 8-10 at the largest one, along with maybe 9 or 10 other 4-seat tables. Some of those are out on the (enclosed and heated for winter) patio, which fantastic in the summer. If you show up during peak hours, you WILL be waiting, but MIGHT be able to find a seat at the bar, as patrons roll in and out at a decent pace. We like to get there when they open, secure our seats, have a drink, and order some food when we get hungry. Going around 2-3PM also avoids some of the croweds. Its a great place to watch the Sabres or Bills! Just remember what I said about it getting busy quickly. Service is usually excellent. The people that work there have great people skills and a passion for the establishment and what they do. The food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. There is one thing that people do need to know, though... its CASH ONLY!!! Make sure you bring enough cash to cover your meal and drinks, or youll be hitting the ATM in house or finding a bank nearby.

What we are famous for???? Ill tell ya...rudeness & service so bad that I cant believe that anyone would waste their money here. Its not hard to get good wings in Buffalo. If you are from outside the snobville known as East Aurora, STAY AWAY! If you are from outside NY, RUN from this place!! This is the rudest place I have ever been too & I am a road warrior. NYers Carl Paladino and Donald Trump would feel at home here..use your imagination on that one. I went with my parents and we had to wait for a bit. I went to the bar to get a menu that my older parents could look at while we waited. I politely asked the bar tender for a menu. He said yes. He then made several people drinks, checked out a tab, gave out some to go boxes...all while I was standing there looking at him for 5-10 mins. I then said "you think I could get that menu"? He grabbed it and practically thru it into my face. I could not believe it. He acted like I would get my menu when he felt like it. The waitress acted like we were bothering her when we asked about the types of fries. She was huffing and puffing and sighing like we were just a hassle. A gentleman inside also said this place could care less about service as people just keep coming. Their policy of not taking credit cards should have been a red flag as the owners are obviously shady on hiding income and paying taxes. Run from this place like the plague as its an embarrassment to Buffalo and the service industry. This place would be out of business in 6 months if it was outside of the insularity of East Aurora. I will never return.

Went to Bar Bill to celebrate a friends birthday last Friday. I am 61" and was wearing a white polo shirt standing at the bar with my money in my hand. It took the (3) bartenders almost 20 minutes to serve me a beer and a jack and coke. When the bartender was pouring the jack in my coke, the bottle ran out prematurely so he just filled the rest of it with coke and handed it to me. So that blue light and jack and coke cost me $10, which is what I would expect to pay somewhere downtown or at Mickey Rats in July. So after that round, I went to the bar again and waited only about 15 minutes this time for the same order, except this time the price increased to $10.75. When I told the bartender the price was only $10 a little while ago, he said "I dont know what happened." My friends said the wings were good though. But then again you really cant get bad wings in Buffalo. Bottom line, go to Brothers right down the road or somewhere else because this place will make you feel unwanted AND charge you a fortune for drinks.

The best wings Ive had in Buffalo. Everyone always talks about how great Duffs, The Anchor Bar, La Nova, or insert-favorite-pizza-place-here is, but they havent been to Bar Bills then. I ordered cajun and med-hot extra crispy wings and they were perfect. The wings were succulent, not dry or brittle, well coated in sauce, and consistent. The cajun wings were the best of the two in my opinion, but dont let that take away from how good the med-hot wings were. We also got a side order of chicken fingers and beef on weck. The chicken fingers were cooked perfectly and were super juicy on the inside. The beef on weck was good and had a ton of meat. You definitely get your monies worth. However, the wings were the star of this dining experience. I should add that the wait was a bit lengthy (about 45 minutes) to get a table. However, that is to be expected during prime-time on Saturday at the best wing spot in Buffalo.

Came here on a Monday, and right from 5pm this place was already packed. Lucky for me there was one table open but I can see how people can wait up to an hour for a table. I ordered a beef on weck, medium wings and a side of shoe strings fries..The food was excellent. The beef on weck alone was worth all the praise it gets. A guy behind the bar makes the sandwich to order.Wings are quite big and tasty (if u like them saucy make sure u tell the waiter because they dont put a lot of sauce.it also says it on the menu but I only saw after I got them). I read a lot of reviews complaint about the service.i didnt have a problem with it. Our waiter was nice. Overall it was a good experience well worth the drive for me and I will be looking forward to come back.

My wife and I visited during what I would consider peak lunch hours. I could not have been more pleased with the service. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. The wait staff and bar tender could not have been more friendly or attentive. The food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. The beef on weck and wings were likely the best Ive had in WNY. This was my first trip to Bar Bill and I was slightly apprehensive due to some of the "horror stories" on google. While those customers may have had a poor experience, the food and service we recieved today was so phenomenal that I felt obligated to write my own review. Thank you to the staff we will surely be back!
