Not really pleased with my experience here. A barber should ask permission before painting hair filler onto your head, especially when thats not what you asked for. Im 24 years old and I did not want any of that on my hairline or beard. Wasnt really pleased with the quality of cut overall. But I wont go into the details on that. My largest frustration was the customer service. There was a "Social Saver" $15 haircut coupon that was on the website. I messaged the Facebook page to confirm that it was accurate and useable and I received confirmation from the page. When I mentioned the promotion to the barber checking me out (Stanley), he became visibly frustrated. I showed him the message exchange on Facebook between the shops Facebook page and I, and he acted totally unprofessional the entire time. No one in the shop knew about the coupon and he continually asked me in a frustrated and aggressive tone, "Well, what is it? $15, $15 off, or 15% off or what?" as well as, "$I5 for what though? I aint never heard of that." I replied that, its their coupon, so they should be telling me and that it said a $15 haircut. He called over one of the other guys in the shop and they both investigated the coupon claim and the guy who walked over eventually put a 15% discount on the cut, which was not what the coupon online indicated. All three barbers in the shop had no idea what the coupon was, but regardless, there was a clear exchange between the Facebook shops page on Facebook Messenger and that should have instantly straightened everything out. Instead there was unnecessary aggression thrown my way, which a friend who was with me can confirm. There was a clear lack of communication between whomever is managing the social media page/website and the barbers in the shop. It was totally poor customer service and unnecessary frustration directed towards me.

So Im new to the area and have not been having any luck finding a good barbershop for my son until today!! Found out about this place from a referral and Im so happy that I made an appointment! Where to begin on the reasons I loved this place! 1) very convenient booking of an appointment via their mobile app where you can select an appointment slot that fits your schedule. This is super important to me because I am a single mother on a tight schedule, so being able to browse different days and times is a super plus! instead of having to call somewhere and wait on hold to see if they have openings. 2) they send an appointment reminder via email which is also helpful! 3) My sons barber was Darius, he was awesome!! gave my son an excellent haircut! friendly, and very professional! As soon as we got in the car my son said, "mom this is where I want to get my haircut from now on!" This makes me happy because since we have moved here he has not been too thrilled about getting his haircut lol. 4) Atmosphere- all of the barbers seemed happy to be there and occasionally shared some laughs which made it an overall pleasant experience! I know this is a very long review, but I think it is only fair to rave about quality service when you see it!

Normally, I cut my own hair. I think barbershops take too long and I do a descent job when I actually get around to grooming myself. For my sisters wedding, I went with the grooms party to "the Barbershop." I saw quickly that The Bar Ber Shop was far from the typical haircut. First off, it had a bar, so I had to enjoy a beer after my full cut and shave. Reggie spared no detail, in making sure I had the best in chair experience of my life (complete with steam face wrap, filling in some hair challenged spots up top, and my favorite... the straight blade line-up). I truly knew what it felt like to be hooked up and although it still took about an hour, I looked and felt like a billion. Cheers to kicking off a great day!

I have been a faithful client of this business since relocating to the area, almost 2 years ago. Tawan is my barber and I highly recommend him! As a woman, sometimes its difficult to find a barber who can keep your hair up to par, but still feminine. I am incredibly picky about grooming services, but Ive been more than pleased with each cut Ive received. Tawan pays attention to detail, is creative with his recommendations, and provides excellent customer service (which matters to me). I enjoy my visits to the shop because of the quality service I receive and the professional atmosphere.

I love this barbershop, being from another state I didnt know what to expect when this shop was referred to me. However, this shop is one of the best I have ever been to. The shop is extremely clean and nice. All of the barbers are in my opinion some of the best if not the best in the state. There are many barbers to choose from so the wait in never very long unlike most barbershops. I get cut by Stanley who has an incredible eye and a super steady hand. HIS FADES ARE FLAWLESS. If you are anywhere and Raleigh and need a cut I recommend you go to the Bar Ber shop and ask for Stanley.

My husband has tried several different barbers in the past and has had a difficult time finding one that could do exactly what he asked for, that was until he was referred to Rashad Cousin. Rashad does a wonderful job on my husbands hair cuts each time he goes. Not only does he cut my husbands hair but he also cut my nephews hair. The staff and the business is very professional and the environment is very welcoming and laid-back. I would definitely recommend those in need of a great quality haircut to see Rashad Cousin.

I must say,my first visit was when I had to pick my grandson,who gets his hair cut there on a regular. I was quite impressed, not only with the appearance and cleanliness of the place but ,how nice and neat each barber were dressed and they each had on a bow tie to accommodate their outfit. Several of my nephews, cousins and my son in law goes in on a regular to visit their barber Rashad Cousin. Very smooth gentleman I have to say. Schedule your appointment today. You will be very pleased.

Omg I went with my husband to Raleigh to get his hair cut. We stopped by The Bar Ber Shop and this young gentlemen named Rashad Cousin cut his hair. He put designs in it and everything! I was so amazed I couldnt stop talking about it! I know exactly where my husband will be going From now own! The Bar Ber Shop with our special Barber Rashad Cousin!! Yes yes yes We cant wait til its time again! May have to go early! Thanks Rashad your the Best!!!!

This was my 3rd time at The Bar Bar Shop in Raleigh. They are very professional and the atmosphere is really friendly and inviting. My barber and the owner Reggie Winston, makes my time in the chair comfortable as always. We have great conversation while Im getting cut and its always a positive outcome. If you enjoy great service with a great environment, you should definitely try out The Bar Bar Shop. You walk out the door ready to impress.
