Great place for the whole family! I edited this post as of 11/04/15. Service is always great, not sure why these people had to wait, they are normally very fast. They now offer a grill service that is fantastic. This is NOT a sports bar & grill. This is a diner with high quality food at low quality prices. I am willing to wait for good cooked food and not that commercial "apple bees or dennys crap quality"

We had a wonderful experience from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and my lemon-pepper Haddock was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone. I ordered baked beans as a side dish and they were excellent. The help, waitresses, and the whole experience was delightful. A very special Thankyou to City Slickers.

Service was beyond slow. Got the wrong food. The kids pasta with sauce came without sauce until asked for. The soup came with the main meal that was wrong. And how do you eat soup without a spoon. Last but not least the store bought desert they serve thank you. So on that note that will be the first and only time I will go there.

This review is for the lunch Barbecue in front of City Slickers - called Kennys Pits. I highly recommend having lunch here. The food is well prepared and delicious. A great little lunch BBQ joint in Batavia. Try the pit plate - you wont be disappointed.

Good place, ok beer selection. never too busy,. Stay away from Friday fish, it was almost like it was cooked earlier and microwaved, mushy fish
