Wont recommend this place for vegetarians. There are bunch of arrogant people here. We came here for buffet and we are strict vegetarians- in buffet, both veg and non-veg were mixed together- especially non-veg beef kept so close with veg that beef can easily fell into veg dish- we complained this and we were told this is way it is and if I want to order I will have to order seperate even if we are paying for buffet- we were so disappointed by their arrogant attitude - wont ever come here and wouldnt recommend this place to all people who respect Vegetarians.

We went to taj grill after visiting Niagara Falls. The lunch buffet was very mediocre range. First of all there was no Biriyani or pulav in the buffet. It was only plain basmati rice. (We ordered veg Biriyani from ala carte which was a bad idea) And the items had a alarming rate of food colors. Dum aloo was bright red and full of sauces. Naan and batura bread were ok. My husband said that the meats were in ok range. But the desserts was terrible. Worst jelabi of my life!!! I will not recommend to my friends

This is the worst Indian restaurant in United States I have visited till date .It deserves no rating. Very poor ppl management and awful tasting food. You got to wait for hours n hours before you get the table and waiter turns up to you after one more hour for taking the order. These people have least respect for customers. They just look at us as money making option. This place should be sealed and closed for ever.I would say avoid this sickening place. Waste of time and money.

First time experience was great! Being that we went in on a MONDAY it was slightly busy and good service. We got the sampler platter for the starter, our daughter loved the chicken on the platter! The samosa were cooked perfect( hot , flaky , crispy , filing was delicious). The house made cheese was nothing to write home about, it had almost a extra firm tofu consistency. The potato cake was wonderful. My wife got the chicken vinadloo and I got the curry lamb

Awful food. One of the worst Indian food I recently had. I wonder how come its given 4.5 stars (which apparently lead me there with a lot of hope). We tried malai koftha (worst ever), aloo paratha (I dont know what the heck they gave me. It tasted horrible), nan (Ok), fish vindaloo (below average). We barely ate a little and threw away the rest. I was afraid to try the Indian restaurants at Niagara Falls due to not so good experiences. This one beats them all.

Absolutely, love this place! Great service. Delicious food. My husband ordered lamb vindaloo and I got chicken masala. We also ordered garlic and regular naan, tan sampler and coconut soup. Absolutely delicious!!! All is great. They have unlimited refill of the rice. The place is itself looks extremely nice! We came here for dinner but cant wait to get they lunch buffet.

Love this restaurant! We went the first time because of a Groupon, and have been back several times since. Theres a great variety of choices, including a half page of just vegetarian items. The servers are always pleasant, and make great suggestions if youre not sure what to pick. The buffet is good, a little lacking if you dont eat meat, but worth what you pay for it.

Was in Buffalo with my family for the day and decided to stop by for the lunch buffet. A pretty wide variety of food available for the price, with options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The seating has plenty of room, and tables have tablecloths. I did find the butter chicken to be a bit on the sweet side, but easily found another chicken dish to suit.

Among the worst meals ever. Manchurian? So bad that I felt like leaving the place right away. We returned a large part of it. Curries? Blehh... Even the to go boxes were not good. The rest of the reviews are a complete mystery to me. Perhaps the old chef resigned, or something. Also, STOP ADDING SO MUCH FOOD COLOR to everything you cook!

The cleanest indian restaurant Ive ever been to. I think cuz its new. They have good variety of items on the buffet and very well spiced ..not too hot not too mild, and you can add more if you want. Good price to cheap compared to other indian places. They serve Chai tea with the buffet too! All meats are served Halal

Food tastes fresh, well seasoned and spiced. Lunch buffet area is kept filled and clean by friendly staff. They seem to change things up to keep it interesting but always have both meat and veggie dishes. Prices are adequate but given everything is so good, I will keep going back. Ill take a pic next time.

Went first time for the Tuesday dinner buffet. Excellent. Butter chicken over the rice was a favorite - rich tasting with moist chicken, followed by smokey Tandoori chicken and whatever the fish dish was - very mild fish cooked just enough in a great batter. Every dish very good, highly recommended!

I wish google provide Zero - Star Rating.. That would suit this place. Worst Management, no complementary food items, they cant share their wifi password. 20min to get a table.. 20min to wait for waiter to show up to your table, 20min to get your order ready. Try putting some more waiters.

Great food after a long time. been a year since Ive had some good Indian food. Not as great as home. But tasted good as compared to some other places that say they got Indian food. Keep it up! P.S: The Haywards 5000 was oddly sweet. And a little bit pricey. but for the food, a good place.

Meh. The food was ok but the host was rude and short with women diners. He actually ignored me all together. It was quite obvious in his fauning over the single men. It made our dining experience uncomfortable. We will be going to India Gate from now on. They are always kind there.

Nice place. There were a lot of items on the buffet. I went there with my sister. They closed already but we still got a plate. The food was spicy and also fresh. The place was almost full and people seem to like the food. I hope to go back there again, probably during the lunch time.

I give this place 5 stars because I always have the best service, the menu is extensive, and the food has always been perfect. No complaints from me for the years Ive been visiting taj grill. Their buffet is my favorite in buffalo!
