Probably the best Indian restaurant in the area. Some dishes are better than others. The buffet is mediocre but the regular plates on the menu are phenomenal. Still, a buffet thats under $15 with the dishes they offer is a great deal. The chicken biryani, butter chicken, vindaloo, tikka, and the lamb or chicken seekh kabobs are by far their best dishes. The chana masala is great also. I wish they would consider expanding their menu and offering some new things. Seeing chicken 65, papri chaat, or chicken jalfrezi would make me and alot of other customers extremely happy, even if for a once a month special entree. The wait staff is great here also and deserve a lot of credit and I would say is the reason for most of their return customers. They know the regulars by name and go out of their way to make sure customers are happy. I had a less than satisfactory experience once and the waitress was the only reason I bothered to continue coming here.

Food is alright but worst owners and servers!!! So cheap! I went with mom and sister. They had buffet and I had food from menu. When I asked a box to go because I couldnt finish the food they said they had to take my food back and put it themselves because they were afraid I would take from the buffet left overs from my mom and sister who were also finished eating. So rude and cheap. They were also afraid to but the bread bowl out in case I would eat from it because it was only for buffet. I didnt even want bread but I paid for another bowl so they could leave us alone in peace to eat. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would never recommend this place!

This place used to be my goto place for biriyani when it was called "Tawa". Now with the name change, the chef changed and the food changed and its not authentic. They do have lunch buffet. Decent options better than other places but lacking vegetarian options. So we end up ordering from the menu. I ordered different items each.. they are not prepared well at all. Veg biriyani- please frozen vegetables with corn in a biriyani?? Really?? It was sweet to taste and horrible. Nan and gobi curry- Nan was good, cooked perfectly. But the curry was again super sweet and buttery. The staff is friendly until you complain about the food. Nah!! I will not return here.

Wish I could put no stars. Worst food ever. If you are looking to find maggots and bugs in your food then this is the place to go. My son and I went and we ordered the biryani and found a live maggot. We were totally disguisted and could not even eat the other food we ordered. We told the waitress and she came and took it away with her bare fingers that she uses to serve other customers food. Yuk!!! You would think they would give us the food for free or even a disscount but they refused and only offered us a free dessert. Why would we want more of their bug infested food! No customer loyalty at all. Do not go here. Save yourself from food poisoning!

Place sucks, three lunch carry out orders almost fifty dollars and these cheap skates cant put plasticware in the bag. I call back to see why they didnt and their answer was "our policy is we only put it in the bag if you ask" like we should guess that you have to ask. How about maybe you could ask customer if they would like plasticware. Every other place that does carry out just puts it in the bag....cheap cheap cheap. Just proves that saving a few pennys on plasticware is better than return customers

Nagi lashi and mango smoothie tasted like the milk was expired. Returned the mango drinks and they still charged me on bill after asking for the mango drinks to be removed off bill waitress told me that she cant do that because owner would not her. My daughter who drank some threw up afterwards. When my wife asked for some napkins there were four of us and they would give us one at a time..BEWARE...NEVER GOING BACK..WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!

I cant believe I havent left a review for this place yet. This is definitely one of my happy places. The buffet is excellent and affordable, the place is very clean and the server, Jessica is such a kind and friendly person who provides excellent service. I treat myself to one meal a week here so I can eat the delicious food and watch old school Bollywood episodes on the television.

A slightly-more-pricey Indian eatery comparing to other Indian places in my history. Im a huge fan of Dal Makhani with garlic naan, and this place was very good when stacked against the other 10+ Indian places Ive eaten at. I always get spicy, and I felt they did very good on not going over the top on the spicy but still giving it plenty of bearable pain. Would recommend.

Went with my son in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. just wanted something light. We ordered soup, bread and appetizers and we were told that the owner would not take an order for just soup and appetizers. We promptly left and vowed to never return. This guy must not want money. what a way to run a business. Would give no stars but unable to.

WYF! I wish i could give negative stars. My family came in to have lunch and had the buffet because it looked delicious. Unfortunately the butter chicken was very watered down and had no flavor along with most of the dishes on the buffet. Do the cooks taste thier own food before they put it out? Very disappointing. Will never come here again

I cant believe this place is still open. Over the last 10 years Ive gone out of my way to make sure I never go here. But my wife being vegetarian, choices are a bit limited. We ordered naan and they sell them for $2.50 a piece. The Indian store next door sells a frozen 12 pack for $2 which taste better then the garbage this place makes.

This is the best Indian restaurant I know of in the Detroit area, and Ive been to a number of them. I have been a regular customer here ever since the new owner and chef, whos name is Om, took over a few years ago. He is an excellent cook and, if you have the good fortune to get Jessica as server, she is also a terrific waitress.

This place has excellent butter chicken. I recommend you get it with garlic naan. Very friendly and attentive waitress. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area. 4/5 starts only because price could be better, and although the food is very delicious, Ive had better Indian food.

1. Chicken Tandoor is fully colored and taste less. Its smelly. 2. Biryani is like Tomato rice and seems 2 days old. 3.only 1 Dessert that is also taste less. 4. frozen curries with fully colored goat curry and chicken. 5. Simply this is my least rated one in entire Detroit metro area

I was surprised that I liked the food. Always heard that Indian food is so spicy, but I really enjoyed the variety. Lots of veggies and good flavors on the buffet. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs, I dont think our drinks ever ran out. Its a small place, but very cozy.
