I wont say that I’m "THE AUTHORITY ON INDIAN FOOD" By any means, but Ive had myself a good Chicken Tika Masala here and there, and I figured Id give this place a try. Went with a couple friends of mine who had never tried Indian Food, so they were a bit scared. I ordered the Chicken Tika Masala "Somewhere between Medium and Mild". Came out with a very nice spice to it...not too crazy, but it did bite back. The problem is to my surprise is that the sauce was very very bland. It really didnt taste like anything! The Naan bread was disappointing The Butter Chicken one of my rookie friends ordered had a unique taste to it, and she thought it was very good (And provided a nice "Doorway" to Indian food). She was satisfied. My other buddy ordered something, Ill admit I didnt catch. He described it though as one of those "Frozen Enchilada Gourmet Meals". I’m not sure if he liked it or not. Interior - 3.5/5: Clean, comfortable, not very fancy. Music video provide loads of entertainment. Service - 3/5: Very quick. Simple "Order at the counter" joint (But doing it right) Value - 4/5: You get a lot of bang for your buck here. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large. Food - 2/5: I simply wasnt impressed with it. My dish was bland, my bread was disappointing and seemed microwaved. The Rice seemed like it was from one of those "Instant-steam" bags (And was not the basmati rice as advertised). Overall - 2.5/5: I was a bit disappointed with the place considering the other reviews that I had read. I dont expect the Indian restaurants here to be as good as lets say, England, where it is such a major part of their culture, but this was just bad. I might try it again though just to make sure they werent having a bad night.

Do not ever go to the location at Sterling Heights on a Sunday evening..As soon as we reached we went up to the counter to place our order..the first thing the guy( Looked like a spanish/ lebanese ) who takes order said-The restuarant closes at 9pm.Looked like he was in a hurry to get out on Sunday. We told him we knew that. I ordered some very MILD Pav Bhaji with an extra take home too..but to my horror..he served Very SPICY..I told him ..all he said was oh well I guess they pre-prepare it already..and did not do anything about it.. We asked for an extra take home box ..all he said was - Oh cmon..you can use one and mix it up..Literally not one person eating there on a Sunday..probably because of this service..I think its better to just order or the phone and pick up your parcel and eat at home..instead of feeling unwelcomed and knowing they want you out by 9pm.

I come from the west coast and Ive had some amazing India food out there. The food here in Sterling Heights is VERY DELICIOUS. The meat is very tender and tasty - especialy the chicken and lamb. I reccomend the Chicken Biriyani - spicy, as well as any of the Chicken/Vegetarian dishes - especially the Chicken Kadhai and chicken tikka masala. The lamb Kathi rolls are also excellent. The naan is fresh and go during lunch or dinner and order the PLATTERS. These have tons of food and youll probably have left overs as well. Of course, you know this place is good when its full of other indians!

Ive ordered from this place a total of about 50 times. This will be my last order. The manager ashok is liar. I called and placed and order for 2 people like I normally would. He told me it would be 10-15 min. 20 min later my girl friend is there to pick it up. He tells her its going to be 5-10 min. 20 minutes passes by my girl friend calls and says its not ready. I call the place and ask for the manager. He tells me it will be 10 more min and hes sorry they are backed up. 15 min later the food is ready. I understand youre busy, but dont lie to us 3 different times!

We also had Kadai Ghost, Chkn Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani (with Naan, rice) which were just OK, but the Butter Chicken was terrible; chicken itself was very smelly and tasted bad! It was also way overcooked and "crusty" which makes me guess that the meat was recycled from a prior buffet. Furthermore, complaints about the hardly-touched Butter Chicken from all in our group drew a response of "I tasted it and its fine, nobody else has complained", so be forewarned! We wont be going back!!

This is a quiet and clean little Indian restaurant for fast ( not fast food) service. They dont have a vast menu but they have the thali system where you get a choice of a main dish, 2 side dishes , desert and rice and naan. Very reasonable prices. Best to go for the chicken curry as the main dish unless you are a vegetarian. Then you have other choices.

Went about 4 months ago. Food was mediocre. No atmosphere primarily a take-out place. We ate in, were the only ones there, and some older man that owned or ran the place just stood and stared at me and my 15 y/o nephew. It was weird and uncomfortable. We took the rest of our food to go. The location in Auburn Hills is great.

I ordered tandoori chicken and tandoori roti, and reviews are as: Tandoori Chicken-> Stale, tasteless, burnt and dry Tandoori Roti-> Totally undercook, taste just like dough. Couldnt eat anything, had to throwaway everything. Please stay away from this if you want to stay healthy and if you dont want to waster your money.

Rangoli Indian Grill and their sister restaurant Rangoli Indian Cuisine in Auburn Hills are 2 of the best Indian Restaurants in Detroit in my opinion. The dishes are very flavorful and authentic. They are much closer to real Indian cuisine than the typical "Indian-Americanized Restaurant"

I went here, looked at this wonderful looking restaurant, and was quite disappionted by the fact that they only had Indian food as Im allergict to all Indian foods. They didnt bother helping me out and making me some Mac n Cheese or a Corn Dog, or anything. Bad service and food.

This place is fantastic. Weve been to most of the Indian restaurants in the Detroit area and this is by far our favorite. Great food, super friendly service and just an overall homey feeling. Oh, and its really affordable--considerably less expensive than most spots. A+!!!

I visit this establishment often, my son absolutely loves the food, so he begs me to go once every other week. This really is some of the best Indian food Ive had, I have tried every place within a 15 mile radius, and none of the others compare.

If you like Indian food, you absolutely should go here. This is where you get the good stuff, and its reasonably priced. I recommend the kaathi rolls but the chicken Tikka is also excellent. I think whatever you get, its gong to be a good idea.
